When the First Stage Condenser steps into the command area of Bologue, they are already a walking corpse... Just like when Xilin invaded the Cultivation Room back then.

Years later, Bologue brought another massacre.
Not far in, Bologue systematically took down several "lost" enemies, smashing their armor with an axe, then sweeping through, splitting open their bodies with a sharp blade, blood spurted out, dyeing the entire alley red.

That was normal, under Mammon’s shelter, the Gray Trade Association would open its doors to the King’s Shield Guard, those mad rchants sell anything, not to ntion slaves and rcenaries bound by Blood Contract.
Long before the tiline was disrupted, Bologue had already encountered similar enemies.
"Is he waiting for ?"
Bologue stood in the pool of blood, staring down at the pitch-black umbilical cord stretching from his abdon, since entering the Fog Abyss Fortress, the direction of the cord has never changed.
It seems the Shadow King has been staying put, awaiting their arrival.
"Maybe he doesn’t want to hide anymore, wants a grand showdown with us?"
Palr squinted his eyes, barely spotting the umbilical cord. His connection with the Shadow King wasn’t close.
"A showdown in these circumstances? Feels no different than waiting to die."
Bologue whispered, "He won’t give up that easily, don’t forget, the Decay Epidemic hasn’t been triggered yet... Perhaps he’s luring enemies in deeper."
"Just like King Solomon once did..." Palr suddenly thought.
"What is it?"
"The Fall of the Holy City," Palr explained, "King Solomon held out until the last mont, when the largest force of the coalition was amassed, a beam of light, a beam of light ended it all."
Palr speculated, "I think the Shadow King plans to do the sa, recreating the events on this land."
Bologue paused for a mont, feeling Palr’s speculation made sense, a double loss was better than losing alone. Bologue was too familiar with such desperados’ mindset.
"Palr, if necessary, you need to leave, just like I made you leave last ti."
Bologue spoke seriously, he wasn’t joking, "I believe the Decision Room anticipated Shadow King’s behavior, so they negotiated to let the King’s Secret Sword handle the final attack... This battle’s outco will only result in mutual destruction."
"Suicide Squad." Palr repeated the term.
"I’m an Undead, I have no worries, but you are different," Bologue confessed, "This mission wasn’t originally yours, it was who requested to include you."
"Taking a good buddy to die together, right!" Palr exclaid, "I knew it!"
From the start of the massacre, Palr realized one thing, his presence would only hinder Bologue’s actions, with the advantage of being Undead, Bologue could easily fight his way to the depths of the Fog Abyss Fortress, find the Shadow King, and launch a signal flare.
Afterwards, it wouldn’t matter if Bologue lived or died, that would be the King’s Secret Sword’s job, but with him, a re mortal body, the attack operation had beco hampered.
"I just want you to personally deal with Morrison," Bologue stated his reason, "After resolving Morrison, you can leave, don’t look back."
Palr was stunned, for a mont, he didn’t know what to say, scratching his ears and cheeks, he could only squeeze out these few words.
"Is this the signature caring thod of a violent killer?"
Because it was too bizarre, Palr actually felt like laughing, he mimicked an absurd tone, "Co on, Palr, this guy is your birthday present, co cut him down!"
"I’ve been trying to develop empathy, to feel others’ emotions."
As Bologue moved forward, he unleashed Secret Energy, in a place Palr couldn’t see, the rumbling of walls shifting was heard, he guessed many unfortunates must now be crushed into minced at.
"Actually I believe I have this ability, but my empathy is limited to the feelings inside my head, you know, I’m not very good at expressing this kind of thing." Bologue said earnestly.
Gunfire rang out ahead, within seconds, tal floods pierced through the hallway, Palr decisively slipped into a side corner, while Bologue charged into the enemy crowd.
Amidst the intense gunfire, Palr shouted loudly, "So you’re trying... to express yourself?"
"Sothing like that," Bologue retorted, "What do you think?"
Bologue swiftly turned, hand axe and blade rampaging through the enemy, incessantly producing heart-twisting sounds, and the occasional massive explosion and the horrific ripping sound of flesh tearing apart.
The corridor was strewn with enemy remains and blood clots, scorching streams of fire rose at the dim hallway’s end, before Bologue could react, Palr summoned a howling wind, which rampaged down the hallway, the strong air currents clashing against the roaring flas, remarkably halting their advance for a mont.
