A roaring and loud string sound tore through the silence, piercing and shrill echoes rushing through the iron passageway. The waves of sound crashed against Bologue’s eardrums with intense pain, briefly depriving him of hearing, leaving only a long, droning hum.
Bologue steadied his steps, angrily staring ahead. The sharp blade sliced off a corner of the Round Shield, its cold tip re centiters from piercing Bologue’s eye.
Bai Ou’s face showed ecstatic joy, countless currents created by his high-speed advance lifted his black robes, swirling and surging, blossoming into black lotuses, like a Death God from the deep, dark night.
Gripping the hilt tightly, Bai Ou used the blade jamd against the Round Shield as leverage to propel himself up a level, the gale accompanying him swooshing past, lashing against Bologue’s face with cutting pain.
In the next mont, the hum in Bologue’s ears also vanished, as if drowned in the deep sea, all sounds beca distant and muffled, until he touched the sea bottom, where countless faces erged from the seabed, mouths wide open, whispering myriad sounds by his ears.

Swinging his sword with force, Bologue felt as though he sliced through smoke, fragnts of black robe falling from the air, Bai Ou landed gracefully at the far end of the corridor, his face carrying an indescribable smile directed at Bologue.

Bai Ou pressed his finger against his eye, the coarse fingertip directly touching the eyeball, emitting a strange, sticky sound.

Bai Ou sniffed a kindred scent on Bologue, not just that, he felt that distant familiar warmth, which soon turned scorching, nearly burning him to ashes.

Bai Ou’s words were torn apart by the steel wailing, Bologue clenched his fist, green flas sprang forth, and the surrounding iron walls, under Bologue’s command, enveloped Bai Ou.
This ti, the Iron Coffin failed to trap Bai Ou, the Negative Power User’s strength perfectly exhibited through him, like a surging storm, all approaching steel crumbled under his high-speed slashes.
Iron debris mixed with spark neared Bologue, and the Fla of the Cauldron surged, all controllable steel in the area answered Bologue’s call.
The inner ship structure began deforming and collapsing, including the ground beneath Bologue’s feet, gathering into massive iron serpents coiling around him, biting, while Bai Ou fearlessly charged forward.
Bologue fell toward the next level, the two tussled briefly suspended in the air, Bai Ou precisely swung his blade, slashing each serpent head attempting to get close, the intensity of Negative Power User’s Ether made each slice deadly, carving grotesque cuts on the serpents’ heads.
The serpents started writhing violently, cracking from the marks Bai Ou left, splitting one into two, two into four, in a blink transforming into a roaring swarm biting at Bai Ou’s body.
At first glance, Bologue determined Bai Ou’s identity, his aura of frenzy indicating he was another Authority under the Joyous Desire Witch’s Protection.
Wounds would only make Bai Ou stronger, Bologue must strike to kill, never giving the Negative Power User a chance to retaliate.
The snakes bit through sutures, digging into Bai Ou’s body along the divides of his flesh, severing bones, devouring organs, drinking blood and marrow.
Bai Ou’s body instantly beca broken and withered, like a corpse being dismantled by a swarm of fish at sea, his head turned into a blur of flesh and blood, his left eye exploding into a pool of blood, a sliver snake flashed behind the pitch-black eye socket.
His throat began to swell, the Adam’s apple protruding, then the snakes burst through flesh like maggots dancing on a corpse.
Simultaneously, the blade Bai Ou wielded with effort reached Bologue, its sharp edge aid at Bologue’s throat, slicing through obstructing steel, the edge faintly reddening with heat.
