Canary then asked, "Do you have anything to ask him?"
Bologue shook his head, "No... there’s nothing for to talk about with a madman."
"That’s good."
Canary continued, "I dug out his eyes, one I threw into the sea, the other I put in a bottle, maybe I’ll use it in the future.
His ears I crushed, and I kept the blood and flesh, because I still need him to listen to the declaration of judgnt, his throat as well; he’s temporarily unable to speak, but when he faces the onlookers, I’ll give him a chance to defend himself."
It was clear that Canary hated Bai Ou intensely, if it weren’t for Protection·Chaotic Joy, making all tornt ineffective on Bai Ou, she would have gladly dedicated her life to tornting Bai Ou.
"Can you talk to ?" Bologue asked, "About Bai Ou’s deeds, the corruption of the Unfettered Poetry Society."
Bologue was very curious about these things, but he didn’t want to ask Belphegor, who was nothing but a narcissistic bastard; you’d have to talk to him while being forced to watch his chaotic film that lasted over a dozen hours.
It was a long ordeal for Bologue, and he didn’t want Belphegor’s behavior to make him hate movies. Canary was a good backup option, and perhaps from her words, Bologue could get a satisfactory answer.
Canary laughed, "Oh? Why should I talk to you about these things?"
"For the sake of this."
Bologue spread his hand, revealing the sun mark left by Belphegor, "I think he should have ntioned to you."
Canary’s smile beca more playful, she stuffed Bai Ou back under the bed, crossing her legs in front of her, her hands resting on her knees.
"There’s no complicated story," Canary said, "just so disagreents on ideas."
Bologue guessed, "A dispute over the ’Endless Poems’?"
Canary squinted, "Continue."
"Belphegor promised you beauty and eternity after death, while the Joyous Desire Witch promised you pleasures in this world. There was strife among you, and Bai Ou was at the core."
Bologue rembered Bai Ou’s hatred toward him; Bai Ou mistakenly believed he was Belphegor’s debtor and possessed the Gift of Immortality, envying him imnsely.
"Bai Ou doubted the beauty after death, he wavered, he asked Belphegor countless tis for the blessing of immortality, but Belphegor refused everything, and the Joyous Desire Witch took advantage of it, giving Bai Ou everything he wanted, using Bai Ou as a pawn to corrupt more poets."
Bologue continued his speculation, "Belphegor’s promises were too distant, while what the Joyous Desire Witch could offer was tangible and within reach.
The ensuing story was straightforward; not many could resist the Joyous Desire Witch’s temptation, and the Unfettered Poetry Society fell apart on its own, you all betrayed Belphegor, and no one continued writing the ’Endless Poems’.

Canary was silent for a mont. As Bologue narrated, her expression beca cold, but eventually, she smiled faintly.
"See, you already know everything, don’t you?"
"It’s just speculation, I need soone to confirm my guesses."
Canary leaned back languidly, "Then you’re right, at least most of it is correct."
Bologue asked back, "Then did I guess anything wrong?"
Canary was silent for a mont, after a brief struggle, she said, "For example, I don’t think I count as a true poet."
Bologue was a bit surprised; he didn’t expect Canary to say that, "Do you an that you also betrayed Belphegor?"
"Maybe."
Canary couldn’t quite explain it herself.
The room was quiet, and Bologue patiently waited for Canary’s answer. Canary’s eyes wandered around as if she was recalling an ancient story, yet it was so old and shrouded in gray dust that she didn’t know where to start.
"Bologue, do you think the ’Endless Poems’ can really be realized?"
Suddenly, Canary doubted, "An incarnate entity containing all the poetry and artistic fantasies throughout human history... Do you think it can truly be born?"
Bologue said, "You should ask Belphegor that, not ."
Canary didn’t get angry over Bologue calling the spectator’s real na, as if she didn’t really care about Belphegor, which made Bologue unable to understand Canary’s stance.
"But I can understand how difficult it would be to achieve the ’Endless Poems’."
Bologue continued, "It would encapsulate everything about humanity, which ans that no matter how tis change, it would always be in the process of being written; only when humanity ends would it have truly recorded everything, and ’Endless Poems’ would be truly born."
"Rather than a massive to for reading, I think it’s more like a gravestone, a gravestone for humanity, telling future generations about humanity’s grand past. Of course, whether future generations will understand is another matter."
Bologue looked at Canary, he could keenly sense the emotion changes in the woman, her conviction was trembling.
"Sounds quite despairing, right? But it isn’t too bad for you poets, almost like a strange religious belief that when humanity ends, you would gather in Belphegor’s theater, watching this great work together."
Canary murmured, "Yes, watching together, but then what?"
