Ewen’s mood at the mont was sowhat subtle, no... subtle was no longer enough to describe it.

To pursue knowledge of the Extraordinary World, Ewen had spent decades and paid a huge price, hovering between life and death countless tis, before he touched these secret and bloody pieces of knowledge.

In Ewen’s view, the Extraordinary World should be cruel and bloody, where everyone is a cold and efficient expert, deciding the fate of demons with a swift stroke, and fighting against hostile Condensers until the end of the world.

Order and chaos intertwined continuously, with eternal conflicts.

The more he understood all this, the more Ewen felt awe for it all. He did everything he could to keep a safe distance from these dangerous matters, but in the end, Ewen still failed and got caught up in the turmoil on the Paradise, an experience that was unforgettable. Just thinking about how such incidents were a commonplace in the Extraordinary World made Ewen lant even more about the madness of this world.

After finally ushering in a short-lived tranquility, Ewen did a lot of psychological construction for himself. He stumbled into this crazy world by accident, so he must take on the corresponding responsibility and price. Perhaps this was the last peaceful ti in Ewen’s life.

Ewen was like a resolute man marching towards his death. When his emotions brewed to their peak, suddenly this sadness and realization were crushed into powder by his own fans.

These were extraordinary fans from the Extraordinary World, possessing the power to bend reality.

Palr sat beside Ewen, teasingly said, "Can you understand my feelings now?"

Ewen’s mood at this mont was not hard to guess, Palr continued, "You wouldn’t think that we’re all a bunch of deep-seated resenters, would you? Well... if the hunters’ archetypes were Condensers, based on your descriptions in the book, indeed, there’s a lot of deep-seated hatred."

As Palr said this, he vigorously patted Ewen on the shoulder, explaining so knowledge to him, mainly related to the Order Bureau.

"Friend! This isn’t the era from hundreds of years ago anymore!"

Palr exclaid, "Everyone isn’t gathered around the campfire planning things; we have dedicated offices and a very efficient modern administrative system... we even have insurance, pensions, and annual leave!"

With every sentence Palr spoke, Ewen’s expression turned a little more crestfallen, until finally his face turned completely pale.

Ewen shattered Palr’s fantasies, and now Palr shattered them back.

Hart, sitting opposite, urged, "Stop talking about that, hurry up!"

Palr deftly opened the box of "Journey of the Night," with ga maps and pieces spread all over the table. Palr skillfully set up the ga environnt, spreading the ga map on the table, sothing he had done countless tis. After getting off work, Palr would always play a ga with others at the Undying Club, and outside the table were waiting players.

Even though the armored car’s space was much larger than a regular carriage, when people ford a circle, the space still beca cramped.

To Ewen’s right was Palr by the window, to Palr’s left was Cinderella, opposite was the tall Hart. Everyone had tried to squeeze into place, but Hart alone still took up a lot of space.

Beside Hart was Aimou, followed by Bologue. Bologue originally didn’t want to participate in this board ga, but couldn’t resist Palr’s endless nagging. The return journey was a bit boring, so playing a board ga to pass the ti wasn’t a bad idea.

Lebius also allowed the few of them to play, and now two fully ard action teams were on this train. Most importantly, they also had a group of Origin School Condensers.

This was practically an Extraordinary Legion; even if the Defenders ca to intercept, they would have the power to fight. Not to ntion, it wasn’t common to see forces that could deploy Defender forces.

Ewen picked up a card from the deck and flipped it over. It was an Identity Card, with the identity of a Hunter and so ability values written on it.

Hmm... the derivative of his own work was right in front of him, but Ewen felt entirely unfamiliar with it. This could be considered a strange experience.

Ewen wasn’t good at many things, so he left the derivative part of his work entirely to his editor, without caring much about what they did.

After all, too many secrets were buried underground at Daisy Castle, enough to occupy Ewen’s ti.

Canary dragged a chair, sat down in the aisle, her face maintaining a smile. The laugh of several people cooled down as this stranger arrived, plus with her being a Poet from the Unfettered Poetry Society, the unfamiliarity beca even more cautious.

"Can I join?"

After a few seconds of silence, Palr excitedly agreed, "Sure, the more people, the more fun it is."

Then it got noisy again. Overall, it was only Palr and Hart making noise, while Cinderella fanned the flas from the side. This girl was always easy to blend into the atmosphere.

Aimou actually wanted to play too, which Bologue could tell from the quickly changing expressions in Aimou’s eyes. He felt it was fine; after experiencing life-and-death actions, people should relax a bit, especially a child like Aimou.

Just unlike before, Aimou didn’t fully reveal his intentions. He appeared to be restrained, like trying to act mature.

In the end, only Bologue and Ewen were left gazing at each other deeply, exchanging countless words through eye contact in an instant.

Ewen was very curious about Bologue, and Bologue was also very curious about Ewen, but the two had never had a good chance to chat.

"Hello, Ewen Flesher."

Suddenly, Canary extended her hand to Ewen, who was montarily stunned but responded politely with his hand.

"You can call Canary."

Ewen nodded. He rembered this woman; she had contributed a lot in the battles on the Paradise, and Ewen also rembered that Canary referred to that terrible enemy as "Bai Ou."

Interesting, all three had bird-related nas.

"Speaking of which, I didn’t expect to see you here," Canary said. "Fate is truly amazing."

Ewen asked, "Why do you say that?"

"How should I put it? I’m a poet, and well, he used to be too."

As Canary spoke, she lifted a head wrapped tightly in black cloth. To maintain the Tooth of Deathly Silence’s suppression on Bai Ou, the two had never separated.

Hart sniffed the air, keenly detecting the faint scent of blood, then his gaze fell on Canary’s hand. He bristled instantly, glaring sharply at Canary.

Palr tily reassured, "Don’t worry, it’s fine."

"Poet?"

Ewen beca interested in Canary’s words. Few people read poetry these days, not to ntion anyone calling themselves a poet.

"We were young when we beca poets. You know, we needed a pen na back then."

Canary smiled at Ewen again, "It’s a pleasure to et you."

The cause for everything went unspoken, and Ewen was stunned. A wave of disbelief hit him. He blinked, as if not trusting Canary’s words, but thinking about Palr and Hart, it didn’t seem so impossible. It was quite wondrous.

"It’s a pleasure for too."

Ewen said sincerely, "If my writing can inspire others, that’s wonderful."

"What are you two talking about?"

Palr obviously couldn’t understand the literary conversation between the two and just wanted to quickly start the ga.

Shuffle the cards, deal them out, and each person now had three Identity Cards in front of them, from which they had to choose one to play during the ga.

Palr picked up a white mask, with black lines outlining lush leaves. He would be the ga master, guiding the players through the ga.

"Has everyone chosen their identity?"

As Palr asked, he picked up a delicate locomotive piece and placed it on the departure station of the ga map’s railway.

"The Dawn is about to set off!"
