Bologue thought to himself that there was absolutely no chance of victory, even when facing Mamo, that old man who was about to die. He didn’t think he stood a chance, and even with his Undying Power, they were fully capable of crushing him over and over, like mashing potatoes.

"The Seeker of Glory is almost infinitely close to the Secret Source, and the scale of Ether they can mobilize is imasurable. One might say that as long as the Seeker of Glory wishes, they can summon a vast amount of Ether anyti, cause a storm, easily raise the Ether concentration of an area beyond its threshold, and even break the boundaries of reality.

The Seeker of Glory is essentially a walking, extrely dangerous Ethereal Vortex Point, creating chaos at will that can collapse reality."

Lebius’s voice turned cold as he described rcilessly, "Just like during the Secret War."

Overlord Xilin burst into the Cultivation Room, and as he summoned everything, the high concentration of Ether crushed everyone.

In Lebius’s mind, news of Red Dog flashed again, "Peace has lasted too long. The deeply wounded enemies have healed their wounds and forged new Blades."

If Lebius guessed correctly, Red Dog was currently inside Oubos, and soon, he would personally visit the Order Bureau—as an emissary.

Lebius tried hard to suppress his emotions but couldn’t help clenching his fists. Due to this news, he, who had been trapped in the Cultivation Room for many years, also resolved to take a step forward.

The two fell into a long silence. After a long ti, Bologue accepted Lebius’s expectation, "I understand."

This response held trendous power, and for a mont, Bologue felt as if he was supported by so invisible force. But at the sa ti, the pressure from the void was even greater, and he could vaguely hear it laughing at him.

Clear sunlight fell through layers of glass, evenly covering their faces and bringing warmth. But before they could enjoy it for a mont, the noise of the crowd surged like a tide. Inside the Observation Tower, everyone beca busy, and the central high platform was piled with materials waiting to be transported.

"The silver lining in a misfortune is that we have a base near the reality fracture, which can be reached directly through a Curved Path Breakthrough."

The staff seed to have been waiting for a long ti. Seeing the arrival of Lebius and others, they spoke into the communicator, "Special Operations Group is in position."

Lebius gave instructions, taking the lead to step onto the high platform, "The distance of this Curved Path Shuttling will be long; be prepared."

Palr hesitated for a mont and asked the others, "Are we just going like this?"

Leaving in a hurry, Palr was still in his casual attire, but he still carried the Storm Feather with him. As field staff, he had to be ready for ergencies at all tis, and weapons should never leave his side.

"There will be ample supplies at the base for you to arm yourselves with, and we must make decisions according to the current situation, right?"

Lebius hoped everything would go smoothly on the third group’s side.

There were no more unnecessary questions. The group boarded the high platform, preparing to venture into the Curved Path. Before the eerie blue light swallowed Palr, he thought of Gold and Hart. They too were survivors and should be brought along. But then Palr laughed self-deprecatingly, deciding to spare those unlucky guys.

His vision plunged into darkness, and then the eerie blue light erged from the darkness. They were as nurous as stars, incredibly beautiful. But shortly a powerful force distorted everything, and countless light spots stretched into straight lines, like a grid of light enveloping everyone.

Waves of pain and strange twisting sensations swept over his body. Palr felt his intestines were twisted together, and his gastric juices were boiling. They were jubilantly eager to climb out of his throat.

It seed only a second had passed, yet also felt like tens of hours. The dim, twisted view suddenly brightened, the enveloping grid vanished. Due to visual blur, large color blocks filled the surroundings, and the strong light stung his sensitive eyes, squeezing out a few tears from Palr.

The overwhelming weakness made Palr unable to stop himself from staggering forward. He could no longer suppress the turmoil below his throat and bent over, retching violently.

In the thick liquid were things too unpleasant to look at directly. Palr guessed it was his breakfast and last night’s leftover midnight snack.

Soone supported Palr, and as his vision gradually cleared up, it was Bologue. Although Bologue was also pale and looked uncomfortable, his performance was much better than Palr’s. Aimou, smartly transforming into the Steel Body before shuttling through the Curved Path, felt no discomfort under the loss of flesh sensory.

The surroundings beca clearer as well. Bologue thought they would appear in a tightly guarded underground bunker, but unexpectedly, they were on an open ground.

"Lebius?"

A man showed a surprised expression and quickly walked over. Lebius, enduring the dizziness in his mind, recognized the newcor.

"Lynch?"

"Didn’t expect it to be you guys coming to assist."

Lynch extended his hand to Lebius. Due to different duties, they hadn’t seen each other for a while.

"Why did you set the Curved Path Gate here?"

Lebius looked around. The most important Curved Path Gate should be located deep within the base, but now it had been moved outside, exposed to sunlight.

"This way, it’s convenient to transport supplies. Our situation is quite dire now."

Before Lynch could finish speaking, the Curved Path Gate behind him lit up again, and a large batch of supplies was transported over, imdiately carried to the front.

"Those monsters are continuously pouring out from it. Condensers can easily destroy them, but fighting continuously for hours is exhausting, not to ntion we are short on manpower."

In the distance, gunfire erupted, and Bologue saw flas rising, transforming into devouring Fire Snakes as shells whizzed overhead, leaving huge smoky craters on the ground.

"So we had to resort to sowhat ’primitive’ thods."

Lynch had actually erected a line around the reality fracture area. The concentrated firepower destroyed any demon attempting to escape.

"Moreover, these things work well; the internal reality fracture suppresses our Alchemy Matrix but doesn’t affect the performance of these hot weapons. We are preparing to dispatch another team to infiltrate."

Lynch reported the latest situations to Lebius, then led the group away from here, heading toward the front line.

The air carried a sulfurous sll. Bologue had an indescribable feeling when he suddenly saw a pitch-black boundary rising, like a sore on the earth, with black particles subtly diffusing outward and then disappearing.

Lebius asked, "Is the reality fracture expanding outward?"

"Our line has already retreated once," Lynch said seriously, "We don’t have much ti left."

Lebius sighed; it was always like this—sudden disasters catching everyone off guard. Fortunately, he quickly composed himself; after all, this is the work of field staff like them. They should have been accustod to this long ago.

"Have your n hold the line. As for the team... take us with you."

Lebius said while introducing Bologue, as if comparing with Lynch, "Introduce, this is my team mber, Bologue Lazarus... he might replace soday."

Lynch nodded to Bologue. This alone wasn’t enough for Lynch to take Bologue seriously, so Lebius added.

"By the way, he’s the guy who fought his way out of Joyful Garden."

Lynch’s casual gaze instantly turned serious. Joyful Garden, the third group’s major enemy, they had been pursuing that ghastly thing for long, but never achieved any success; the most they could do was drive it out of a certain area.

"What happened here is the continuation of Joyful Garden."

Bologue said, "I know what to do, and I know what’s lurking deep within that ghastly entity."

He beca a bit agitated, impatient, as if he was about to plunge into the disaster the next second.
