Bam! Bam! Bam!
Despite the mounting tension, Vaarh continued to fight at the limit of his strength, doing everything he could to defeat the warrior opposite him.
He waited for sothing to happen that would force him to make a difficult choice, for Adam to reveal his hidden trump card or reveal that this had all been his trap from the beginning.
But Adam's ti was running out, and everything continued at the sa pace.
The monsters died, they devoured them, and returned to the battle with renewed strength.
'Tsk, whatever, I'll see his every move. It's ti to end this. Who knows what effect the monster energy will have on him!

Vaarh lunged forward as he found himself in front of Adam, who had already raised his fist to strike. Vaarh saw everything. He leaned to the side and, without hesitation, attacked Adam from below, who managed to block the blow in response.
The impact threw Adam high into the air, hard enough that he rose above the snow expanse and hung in the air for a mont.
Without wasting any ti, Vaarh turned, seeing the ice peak nearby, and lunged toward it, jumping off the top to reach Adam.
The frown remained on Vaarh's face as he found himself facing Adam, amid gusts of wind.
He saw that his opponent had reached his limit.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
Blood instead of tears flowed from Adam's eyes, while blood vessels filled the sclera and veins on his face swelled painfully.
The monster energy was not real poison, but in the current situation, it acted exactly that way.
Not only Vaarh, but all the monsters who had managed to survive until that mont understood that Adam's end was near.
They raised their heads, wanting to see how this fight would end, what would happen to the arrogant Phantom, who had been able to give a worthy fight to a dragon himself.
"This is the end." Vaarh's deep voice rang out as he raised his fist to strike.
Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.
The dark, dense energy filled his fist, shaking the space around him.
With the next strike, everything would be over.
Strangely enough, Adam could see everything clearly.
He saw that Vaarh was preparing to finish him off with his next punch. He felt wave after wave of pain wash over his body. The dozens of monsters thirsting for his death did not go unnoticed.
Even Alexia's gaze and Silvana's growing panic were clear to him.
But...
For so reason, Adam wasn't worried. His smile remained on his face as his gaze slowly turned to only one person.
The great monster, who had arrived on the battlefield much earlier than the others, but had decided to voluntarily leave and climb to the top of the Frost Ridge to get the best view possible and enjoy life for the first ti in many years.
Adam looked at the Head Golem, possibly the only monster who did not wish death upon any of them, for it was here as an observer and not a guard.
"What do you say now?"
Adam asked, but his words were not ant for Vaarh.
"This life is much better, isn't it? But..."
Adam closed his eyes as Vaarh's fist lood over him from the side.
"I'm afraid it can't compare to what I'm feeling right now!!!"
Suddenly, Adam opened his eyes, which were now neither blue nor green, but golden, full of amber light.
No one, not even Vaarh, whose fist was about to blow Adam's head off in the next instant, had ti to understand what this ant.
They saw his Highest Bliss, but did not yet understand what it ant for them.
"Agh?"
Vaarh's eyes widened.
Crackle!
In the shadows, Adam's fist slamd into Vaarh's face, knocking him to the ground like a cannonball.
Without hesitation, Vaarh jumped up only to see Adam's silhouette and his shining eyes in front of him.
Adam landed several blows that hit their mark. Before, Vaarh would have easily dodged each one, but Adam was moving too fast.
'No, this can't go on. I don't know what's happening, but I can't let this happen!
Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.
The azure eye trembled as blood flowed from Vaarh's eyes. His eyes were working at their limit.
But it worked.
Whoooosh. Whooooosh. Whooooosh.
He dodged several punches as they simultaneously lunged to the side. They disappeared and reappeared in different parts of the snow expanse, destroying everything in their path.
This continued until the azure eye spun and a stream of aura ran through Vaarh's hand.
"You can't defeat !!!"
Vaarh roared as his fist slamd into Adam with a whirlwind of dark blue energy that threw him high into the air.
Perhaps Adam could have returned to the fight imdiately, but there was no longer any need.
He hung in the air while Vaarh tried to recover. He couldn't understand where all the monster energy Adam had absorbed had gone, and more importantly, where Adam had gotten all that power from.
"W-Wait..." Vaarh stamred, breathing heavily. "He thought my blood would make him stronger, but... that was only one of several conditions, wasn't it?"
"You are so right, Vaarh."
Adam's voice ca from above, while Adam hovered carefree in the air.
"You weren't my condition, but fighting you was one."
Slowly, he spread his arms out to the sides, directing his gaze at Vaarh, who was once again left on the ground, even though he was the dragon between the two of them.
"So, let show you what I am capable of now. I gained this power because you were so strong. If you had been weaker, I would have died long ago."
Adam gave a sly smile.
"It's quite ironic, isn't it?"
In the next mont, dense energy waves emanated from Adam, shining as brightly as the amber sun.
Vaarh's pupils narrowed as he watched the multitude of amber threads rush to take on a new form, one that would allow Adam to end the proud dragon's life.
This ti, Vaarh would have no way to escape death.
