One of the reasons Zargos helped Adam and saved him from Morok's ambush was that he wanted to surpass his sister.
He didn't want to do it to humiliate her or take her place as clan head. No, he just wanted to tease her and see her expression when she realized he had beco stronger than her.
These were strange reasons, but considering that they were brother and sister and what kind of person Zargos was, it all made sense.
Despite having had several long conversations with Zargos, Adam had learned very little about his sister, Keranda.
The only thing Zargos had said for certain was that his sister was a fearso woman.
Now, Adam could clearly see why he had said that.
"Miss Keranda!" rra exclaid in panic. "Please let him go! Mr. Zargos did this because he and Adam made a deal!"
She heard rra, but did not turn around, continuing to squeeze Adam's neck.
"Is that true? How did you et my brother?"
Adam struggled to speak, but kept a smirk on his face:
"That bastard kidnapped ... then... it turned out that he actually saved . Instead of apologizing, he offered to make him stronger... treated to fruit and a cocktail, asked his maid to put on a swimsuit, and then plunged into inner space without my consent..."
Keranda's eyes widened for a mont.
It was almost impossible to co up with a more accurate description of her brother. She did not doubt that.

She loosened her grip as Adam fell to the ground.

He coughed, clutching his throat. A few more seconds and he would have run out of oxygen.
"That's right, but... How could you make him stronger?" Keranda raised an eyebrow.
Adam chuckled.
"Huh, sorry, but you'll have to ask him that. It's his request."
Without further ado, she nodded and headed for the exit.
"Follow . If you stay in my line of sight, it will be easier for to protect you."
She walked past the young man. The blood flowing from his throat flooded the ground beneath him, but even such a wound could not kill him.

With a gust of wind, he rose, holding his katana in one hand. He used all the energy he had to act stealthily and quickly.
If he had a chance to kill Keranda, he had to take it!
"Miss!" rra exclaid, but Keranda didn't seem to notice since she didn't even turn around.
Whooooosh!
In a sharp turn, Keranda's fist slamd into the young man's jaw. The gravitational pulse and her physical power passed through her strike.
A loud crack of breaking bones and tearing flesh rang out as the young man's head flew off his neck, smashing into the wall.
Thump.
His decapitated body collapsed to the ground, next to his katana.
"Now, let's go. I have to help my brother." She bared her teeth in silent rage. "No one dares to hurt him!!!"
Adam shuddered.
'Shit, he was right. His sister is really scary. Huh, I can't imagine what happens when these two argue.'
He smiled bitterly.
'It's cody and drama rolled into one.'

Keranda's orders were not to be ignored, and this was true for both Adam and rra, as they both followed her.
As soon as Keranda appeared, the situation changed completely. It wasn't just that they now had two of the strongest warriors of the Flaming Eye Clan on their side, but also how Keranda behaved.
Unlike Zargos, she didn't joke around. She acted seriously, like military personnel. She had enough strength not to stop her stride, no matter what threats were in front of her.
Step.
Keranda stepped forward as she stopped, her eyes widening.
At the sa ti, Zargos was fighting Morok and two other Lords. He was holding his own, but the constant attacks of lightning and golden fla were causing him problems, especially Morok.
Morok's darkness was dense and overwhelming.
"Is that all your fire can do?" Morok frowned as he clenched his fist.
A shiver ran down Zargos's spine as he jumped to the side. The crimson fire followed him, soon swallowed by the darkness.
TREMBLE!
The wave of darkness tore through the ground, reducing the tall jungle trees to nothing. The leaves crumbled into pieces as if they had co into contact with a toxin.
"Hah, you used to be more confident!" The woman exclaid with a sly smirk.
The muscular man leaned forward, ready to strike again.
For so reason, Zargos paid no attention to them.
With a slight smile, he turned and waved his hand.
"Hey, long ti no see, huh?"
Morok and the others turned around as well. They weren't ready for this.
The woman gulped.
"Wait... Is that her?"
The muscular man nodded.
"It's Keranda. Boss, what should we do? Two leaders of the Flaming Eye Clan... Is Adam Vinter really worth it?"
Before Morok could answer, Keranda raised her hand and brought it down sharply.
Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.
A powerful pressure descended upon them, causing the ground beneath their feet to crack.
"Tsk!" The woman growled, her knees trembling.
If weaker Lords had been in their place, they would not have been able to stand, they would have simply been pinned to the ground.
Step. Step. Step.
With each step Keranda took, the pressure grew stronger until the woman fell to one knee and blood began to trickle from the man's nose.
She stood next to Zargos, glaring fiercely at the three monsters.
"Morok, you attacked my brother? Has the darkness begun to eat away at your brain after all these years?"
He frowned.
"What do you an? I'm following orders. Don't you understand how dangerous Adam Vinter is? No one wants to know how powerful he'll be in five years!"
Darkness fell over Keranda's face.
"What do I care? As far as I know, Adam Vinter is my ally. What do I have to worry about?"
Morok looked at Adam one last ti before shaking his head.
"I see... In that case, we're leaving."
It wasn't a strategic retreat. It was an escape. They turned into shadows in a split second.

Zargos put his hand on Keranda's shoulder.
"Hey, sis. My fight isn't over yet."
He grinned.
"How about hunting three beasts? Just like before?"
