From Adam's appearance, the Phantoms from the north wall had been watching him. Many of them couldn't believe it was him at first, but they soon realized that their doubts were pointless and this was just the beginning.
Gnash wanted to et Adam long ago, now she had a real opportunity to do so, at least she saw him.
"Wait... Isn't Adam on the K2W0-Level? I heard that he was just about to destroy his First Wall."
Deep inside, Gnash was happy for Adam, not only because of her sympathy for him but also because, in their situation, they just needed soone strong, on par with the Dormant Lord and the Blind Sinner.
Viron, standing next to her, nodded deeply.
"Yeah, that's how it should be, but it looks like a lot of curious events happened in the depths of the fortress... I hope his Operator will prepare a report later, I'd be curious to read it."
Step. Step. Step.
Confident footsteps echoed behind them, Viron and Gnash along with the other Phantoms turned around, spotting Katrin.
No one saw the state she was in a mont ago, but they could feel her confidence, the sa confidence she had before the fight against the Dormant Lord.
"Viron, already planning sothing for the future?"
In response, he only shrugged nonchalantly, his calm eyes reflecting the Adam who stopped the Frost Maiden's punch.
"Sure, why not? I don't know what happened below, but... it allowed Adam Vinter to destroy his First Wall, and it looks like he went considerably farther than that."
Katrin narrowed her eyes, stepping closer to the edge.
"We have to survive first, there's no point in wasting our ti thinking about the future if we have a good chance of dying this night."
After a second, Katrin raised her head, gazing intently at the Crimson Monarch, every creature in the serpent lands felt his majestic presence.
"At least such a threat is there while that bastard is alive... I think your Operators already inford you - it's the Overlord Type, moreover, it's an unknown monster. No one has ever encountered this particular monster before."
Strangely enough, although this information was already known to the Operators, so Phantoms looked at Katrin in disbelief.
"Wait what?! Would the Overlord Type monsters be able to appear on our missions? I an... My Operator told that I have nothing to worry about as long as there are only Yellow Threat monsters on the missions."
Soone from the side supported him:

Strangely enough, it wasn't long before one girl abruptly stopped their conversation:
"No! You're all fools! If you had studied the data with your Operators better, you would know that it's very rare, but Overlord Type monsters can appear on the Dark Yellow missions."
Then, she lowered her head, her gaze turning dark:
"But... battles against Dark Yellow monsters, missions of that level are for K2W2-Phantoms or those who almost reached that stage... That's not an opponent against which we - K2W0-Phantoms can do much."
The Phantoms didn't fully understand what she was talking about, because they just didn't get to that level, the information was blocked for them, but not for Katrin.
She closed her eyes, imrsing herself in inner space.
In a heartbeat, a bright Star Seal appeared before her, she recently destroyed the Second Wall, that was the first step, then she placed the Operator's Star in the Star Seal, but the other three cells were empty.
The Wall Star was in the process of being born, the dark star at the edge of her space was actively absorbing any genes and energy that Katrin could provide.
But... the Desire Star and the last, fourth one requiring contact with the External Artifact were so far within her reach.
Then, Katrin opened her eyes, looking at Adam, who ripped off the Frost Maiden's arm.
The distance between them was great, but she could feel that Adam's aura was considerably more powerful.
'Fuck... I hate to admit it, but sohow he's already filled more cells in the Star Seal. I don't know how he did it, but... the difference between us is obvious.'
Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.
At the sa mont, a deafening rumble sounded from above, the beginning of a storm carrying hundreds of violent lightning bolts.
The Crimson Monarch channeled its energy into the roaring clouds, condensing them directly over Adam. He used the ti he was given by the Frost Maiden.
The Phantoms directed their gazes upward, as did Adam.
He looked around, with the full realization that the radius of the thunder was too wide. He didn't have ti to escape, and there was no way he could interfere with the Crimson Monarch since he couldn't fly.
"Damn... I have great abilities for 1 on 1 combat, for difficult battles, but... If the opponent is too far away, it's a serious obstacle for ."
For a mont, Adam looked over his shoulder, a man and a girl were rising uncertainly from the ground, they were too close to Adam - a thunderbolt would definitely hit them.
Then, the Crimson Monarch proclaid, extending his right arm forward:
"Adam... Neither the flas of the fearful artifact nor your threads can stop my thunder!"
Without hesitation, the Crimson Monarch clenched his fist tightly, tilting it slightly downward.
At the lord's command, the full power of the red lightning rained down on Adam in a single thunderbolt.
The man and the girl rose sharply trying to escape, but... unlike them, Adam stood calmly on his feet.
For so reason the world around him slowed down, Adam was imrsed in his thoughts.
'How ironic...' Adam internally muttered, 'I once wielded a similar attack, from the second version of my artifact. It wasn't as strong, but the essence was the sa.'
Then, Adam's body assud a specific stance, he completely copied the movents of the Steel Knight when the Crown Type monster blocked his thunderbolt at the cost of his sword and right arm.
"Let's see what I'll have to sacrifice."
Adam raised his head, crimson electric shocks reflected in his eyes, then the thunderbolt ca down on his needle embraced by flas.
