Adam glanced around. After the disappearance of the Star Seal, he began to sense the auras of others on a new level.
This caused him to stare intently at Lone Blaze, scrutinizing her from head to toe.
Lone Blaze smirked slyly.
"Hey, what are you thinking about? There's nothing physical here in this world, so you should give up your thoughts, though..."
She bit down on her pinky finger as a predatory glint ran across her eyes.
"I'm honored to receive such attention from you."
Adam wasn't embarrassed; he hadn't thought about it at all.
"Your aura... I can feel it now. You used to be stronger before the pact was completed, no... your power level hasn't changed, it's just that you were whole before."
Seriousness reflected on Lone Blaze's face as she nodded deeply.
"You're right, it's because due to my artifact nature, I'm not only connected to you but also to Silvana. So of my energy went to her, helping her Evolution Seed grow to the next stage."
"I see..."
Adam nodded deeply. That answer satisfied him completely. Now that Lone Blaze was in his inner space he would easily determine if she was lying. All of her senses were open to him.
Then, he directed his gaze towards the Initial Gene, the sphere trembled slightly as if wanting to absorb the new power.
"So, what's next? Will you take a place in my Initial Gene?"
Lone Blaze nodded deeply, her arms crossed over her chest.
"Yes, but... I think we should deal with one problem first."
Without waiting for Adam's response, Lone Blaze narrowed her eyes, directing her nacing gaze at Moira.
The purple snake felt the irritation of the External Artifact, prompting her to hide behind the crimson cloud.
Adam nodded slightly, he didn't share Lone Blaze's nacing attitude, but he couldn't leave the unknown guest in his inner space without deciding what to do next.
In a few steps, Adam found himself in front of Moira. She made no move to run away, but was unwilling to step out of the cloud, trying to hide from Adam's gaze.
Only a long hiss was heard, but not too aggressive to avoid drawing Adam's wrath.
Lone Blaze was already behind him, and she was not at all as patient as her master.
Crunch.
Crunching her knuckles, Lone Blaze's aura intensified, lashing her gaze at the timid snake.
"Hey, you... You should be thankful you're still alive. This is Adam's inner space, if he wanted to, he could destroy you at any mont. But..."
Step.
Lone Blaze stepped forward, standing in front of Adam like his bodyguard.
"I can do it as well, I just need permission, and I'll burn you to the ground!"
With a nacing shout, a torrent of flas rushed from Lone Blaze, hurling violent heat at the terrified Moira.
This couldn't have a positive effect on the situation. Scaring soone who was already struggling to keep control was not the best solution, yet Lone Blaze didn't think so.
Shiver.
A wave of shivering went down the snake's spine, making it flinch. Lone Blaze could do this, Moira realized clearly.
She wasn't one of them. Until a while ago they were enemies, one ti she almost killed Adam, turning him into stone. Expecting revenge was reasonable.
Adam slowly turned to Lone Blaze, his gaze calm, devoid of her harshness.
"You're right, it's within our power, but it's not what I promised my enemy. And... you reminded that this is my inner space, so you will obey anything I say."
Then, Adam pointed down, as if to a disobedient pet.
"Sit."
Before Lone Blaze could realize anything, she was already on the ground, her knees spread apart and her hands tucked behind her back.
Why had she taken that particular pose? Well, it wasn't Adam's fault, Lone Blaze could have followed his orders in any way but it was the first thing that ca to her mind.
A wave of sha swept over Lone Blaze, her face turning as red as her flas, her lips trembling and her heart beating faster.
Oddly enough, Moira stopped hissing, instead a giggle like a child's was heard from the side.
Lone Blaze's eyes darted to the snake in an instant. She was ready to burn it right now, she wanted to yell at Moira in anger, but...
No flas or threats ca. Lone Blaze just couldn't do anything, as if chained up.
Strangely enough, Adam did nothing, he paid no attention to Lone Blaze since he was preparing for an important conversation with Moira.
But, soone understood what was going on.
[Hehehe...]
The Evolution Tree laughed to itself while enjoying the show.
[Despite her confidence, this is also her first experience... She doesn't fully understand how things work here... Even though Adam told her to sit down, nothing is stopping her from attacking that snake, after all, a servant can disobey his master's orders if they think it jeopardizes his life...]
Stopping its gaze on Lone Blaze, the Evolution Tree continued its monologue:
[Well... She is strong enough to disobey orders and of her own free will... But... She is quite fearful despite threatening this snake... She is too afraid of losing her connection with Adam to disobey him, even on a subconscious level.].
Deep inside, the Evolution Tree laughed insidiously:
[That's good... There's already one more creature here than there should be... the less trouble the better...]
While Lone Blaze restrained herself, though she wanted to make Moira pay for her giggles, Adam calmly approached the snake.
The situation with Lone Blaze had lowered the degree of tension, but Moira was clearly not ready to beco Adam's ally as willingly as Lone Blaze did.
"Hey, I realize you're scared and... I'm not going to reassure you."
Moira flinched. She expected Adam to treat her more gently than Lone Blaze, but that didn't seem to be the case.
However... she didn't sense any cruelty or coldness from him. He was serious, talking to her as an equal, like an adult which especially for Moira was important.
"I took you here because it was the last wish of the Crimson Monarch, no..."
His eyes grew deeper as he corrected himself:
"Kyros called for a favor, in the last seconds of his life."
Moira's eyes went wide for a mont.
Step.
Adam stepped forward, close enough for the crimson cloud to touch his chest slowly enveloping him.
"If you don't want to stay here, then go ahead, I'll let you go. You can leave my inner space at any ti."
Then, he waved his hand, guiding beyond the darkness.
"The fighters haven't arrived yet. You'll have plenty of ti to hide and find a place of your own," he turned to Lone Blaze who was still in a humiliating pose, "As I understand, unlike her, you can still take physical form."
Moira remained silent, there was no hissing or attempt to hide from Adam's gaze.
Then, Adam pointed over his shoulder at Lone Blaze.
"I'm sure I'll have quite a bit of trouble with her."
Lone Blaze blushed, outrage evident on her face.
"So you have a choice to make. Either you open up to and let fulfill your partner's request, or our paths will part right here and now."
Slowly Adam ran his hand across the cloud, the tips of it touching the Crimson Monarch's energy. His eyes reflected the mories of their fight, Moira noticed this and that the energy was giving in to Adam without resistance.
Then, Moira realized that this energy was not here to protect Moira from Adam, but to help her beco part of Adam's power.
Moira's amber eyes went wide, rembering the Crimson Monarch's facial expression in the last seconds.
Unlike her, he didn't let fear consu him and wished the sa for her.
Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.
Suddenly, the purple snake's fra shuddered, becoming a rapidly shifting shadow, the borders billowing in all directions.
Adam ca to his senses, directing his gaze downward, only to be t by two amber eyes, but in a very different guise.
A teenage girl, rather short, barely reaching the height of Adam's chest, stood before him.
The purple hair waved down to her knees, but only two locks ca out in front of her shoulders, sharp tips here and there indicating her unkempt appearance.
Like Lone Blaze, Moira chose to dress traditionally, a black short dress covered her skinny young body, the hem of the dress was torn and disheveled, but she didn't pay much attention to that detail.
The only thing that distinguished her from a human was a few tiny scales on her wrists and neck and vertical pupils filling her large eyes.
Moira shyly looked away, now that she changed her shape, Adam seed much taller to her.
"Fine... I agree to work with you. After all, it was Kyros's last wish..."
At the last words, her lips quivered, and tears were ready to spill from her eyes, but she quickly pulled herself together.
Adam smiled weakly.
"Good."
Then, his gaze returned to the red energy, following Moira's agreent it beca much more active.
With a slightly frantic look, Adam's eyes flashed as he slowly spread his arms out to the sides.
"Hah, who would have thought... Kyros, you disappeared into ashes, taking away my hopes to keep anything but mories after our fight, but in the end..."
Adam looked at Moira, making her flinch.
"The Crimson Monarch, hear my words even on the other side - this is the best gift my mortal enemies have left !"
