Alia tilted her head in confusion as she stared at the egg in my hand.

I guess this was as good a ti as any to finally tell her everything.

"This is Lily. She’s a forest nymph, but she helped out a lot in Vesperia. I’d go as far as to say she saved my life. Right now, she’s just an egg, but she’ll hatch in about a week or so."

All my monsters started out as eggs, but by spending biomass, I could speed up their growth exponentially. For Lily, though, the amount of biomass needed to speed up the growth of a potential S-ranked monster was significant.

"Lily’s growth will be fast, but umm... it still might be a while before she’s fully grown."

I wasn’t sure if my explanation was clear as I stumbled over my words. I found these types of things awkward.

I’m bad at this...

"I see," Alia said, nodding her head.

"You do?"

Her words surprised . I didn’t know how anyone could get the point I was trying to lay across.

Alia folded her arms proudly and averted her eyes.

"Of course! How can anyone expect you to take care of a young girl when you can barely take care of yourself!"

"Eh, you didn’t have to phrase it so smugly."

She sighed.

"Honestly, I’m not sure how you made it this long without ."

"I don’t know either," I grumbled sarcastically.

"Alright, I’ll do my part to help take care of her since she is so important to you. Plus I kind of want to see what she looks like. I imagine she’ll look very cute when she finally hatches. But I still have one condition..." Her expression suddenly turned serious. "You will forget everything you saw here today."

"You an about the pictures and the suit, and you straddling ..."

CRR!

"Aww, you can’t grab it like that! ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, I YIELD, I YIELD! I won’t say ANYTHING!"

"Good. And another thing," she continued.

"What? You said under one condition."

"I want you to go sowhere with . And umm... there will be talking. You will talk, and I will talk, and you and I will eat sothing. Then you will go ho, and I will go ho."

Hmmm...

"That sounds like a date."

Her face flushed slightly.

"It’s not!"

"Alright, that sounds fair enough, I suppose."

Her lips curved upward into a slight smile though she tried to hide.

"Alright then. I’ll give you the honor of deciding where and when we will et. I’ll also grade you based on several factors," she warned. "A failing grade will lead to severe consequences, so be warned."

It sounded as if she wanted to make sure I at least put so thought into this date. After that matter was settled, I continued telling her the story of what happened when I first entered Vesperia.

When I told her I respawned inside the body of a centipede, she seed surprised and was upset that I had lied to her, which was understandable.

"I’ll make sure to grade you even harder in this upcoming event of ours," she grumbled under her breath. "I think you did the right thing by helping this girl, though. I’m also deducting points because you couldn’t think of a better na than Lily."

It would be great if she and Lily could get along. Plus, this might be good practice.

So far, she seed to be taking it well, but there was sothing else I wanted to talk to her about.

"I’m thinking about forming a guild."

Alia’s expression froze.

"Wait, you are?"

The reason behind her reaction was her family history.

Alia’s family owned a powerful guild. But luckily, they weren’t in our city, Asmura.

Asmura was ho to only two guilds: the Wild Hog Guild and the Centurion Guild.

Both occupied different parts of the city, which could be considered the upper echelon, while the slums, where we lived, weren’t controlled by any major guild.

The people here were mostly left on their own in horrible conditions. It would only take one natural disaster to wipe us off the map.

"I don’t think you understand what you’re saying. The other guilds will never allow you to form a guild. mbers of the Wild Hog Guild would target you imdiately."

"I know, but..."

With the money I could bring in from Vesperia, this must’ve seed like an unnecessary risk.

All I had to do was live a quiet life with Alia, Lily, and our child to co.

But if I did this, I could soday co to regret it.

From what I learned from Lily, this world was coming to an end, and God’s Ga was the only way to save it.

If I decided to do nothing, then soday it could catch up to us. It could be when our child turns 18 or in a few months or maybe tomorrow.

It could even be when Alia and I were old and gray, but one this for sure it was sure to co.

Knowing this, I couldn’t sit down and do nothing about it.

The ability to evolve was a great gift, and now I even had a legendary bloodline and a monster with S-ranked potential by my side.

With all of these, I’d do whatever it took to climb into the top ten.

After I explained all of this to Alia, she seed to understand and nodded along before letting out a heavy sigh.

"As I said, the other guilds won’t just let you create your own guild. Which ans you’ll have to be strong enough to protect both and our child."

"Don’t worry, I will." I assured.

I would never allow anything to happen to them.

"And as for the guild," she continued, "my sister and I were prepared from when we were young to take over our family’s guild, so I can help you with the business aspect of it atleast."

"Thank you, that sounds great. And another thing: I had originally planned to move out of this area after I earned enough, but if we were to create our own guild and move into either the Wild Hogs’ or Centurions’ territory, then it could lead to problems."

"Are you suggesting that we stay here?" Alia asked.

"Yes. With the money brought in from the guild, we could use it to better this section of the city not only for us, but also for the residents here. We could pay pay it better barrier and make sure everyone has the resources they need to survive. Since our child will also live here, it would be great if we could create so normal living conditions. Plus doing this would make people more receptive to our guild."

A smile appeared on Alia’s face as I spoke. She seed to love the idea. Being from the upper class, she didn’t know just how bad things were for people here, but after living with here for a while, she finally understood.

She was so thrilled by this idea that we spent hours discussing it until she finally left to take a shower, since she had a shift at the restaurant.

After Alia left, I decided to check my stats.

I had two statuses: my in-ga status, which belonged to ApexHunter101, and my out-of-ga stats, which had been transferred over to .

I decided to check my in-ga stats first.
