After a grueling 5 hours of avoiding caras and news reporters, I finally arrived ho.

When I opened the door, I was greeted by a young girl with beautiful orange skin and long brown hair.

"Aphrodite."

She was holding up a bright orange egg with gray spots towards .

Ah, it looks like she produced another one. She created eggs by combining her DNA with those of the wolves she killed, creating dire wolves × fla hornet chiras.

She usually brings these eggs to so that I can acknowledge them.

"Good... job," I said, patting her on the head.

She nodded in satisfaction before rushing back to Lily, who had been the one nursing the eggs since thw queen couldn’t bother with them herself.

Lily’s eyes sparkled as she accepted the egg and placed it with the others in the small nursery she created. The nursery was basically a small basket made with small tree roots and strange beautiful flowers.

"Welco back, Sire."

A young boy with dark red skin, wearing a butler uniform, bowed before as I walked through the apartnt.

In his right hand was one of my old comic books, which he seed to have taken a liking to.

"Your fiancé is in the kitchen preparing your supper. I made sure she remained loyal to you while you were gone."

"Good job," I said, patting him before heading towards the kitchen.

I was slowly becoming used to their strange behavior.

As I stepped into the kitchen, I was greeted with a pleasant aroma. Alia was standing over the stove. The mont she heard my footsteps, she turned around.

"Oh, you’re back. How was the eting?"

"Better than I thought. Your father’s presence really helped a lot."

Though, with so many powerful figures, I felt a bit out of place. It was obvious that I didn’t belong in that room with them, at least not yet.

Still, it doesn’t matter as long as I’m in their circle. I can keep an eye on them and use whatever information I collect to help clear the ga.

"That’s good, but be careful. Will you be staying for dinner?" She said as she washed her hands in the sink before moving on to the vegetables.

"I will. By the way, are you sure you don’t mind having them here?" I said, directing her to Aphrodite and Dracule.

Alia smiled until her eyes squinted into creases.

"I actually enjoy their company. The apartnt has been more lively as of recent. Speaking of which, the apartnt is a bit too small for all of us. It would be nice having a bit more space."

"Yes, you’re right. It’s a bit small."

"How about one of these days we go shopping for a new apartnt? We can make it a date?" she suggested.

"Sounds good."

When Alia was done making dinner, we gathered together to eat. The conversation flowed smoothly between us, even with the constant bickering of Aphrodite and Dracule.

Later that night, when everyone had fallen asleep, I logged in to the ga world.

It had been a week since the battle with the Wild Hog guild, and in that ti, Cassandra had taken control of her father’s kingdom and ford an alliance with my guild, which I nad the Apex guild.

I flew through the vast sky, taking in the scenery down below. I was currently outside Eden, yet small patches of grass and wildlife were visible to from the sky.

The entire kingdom of Kronus was slowly regaining its beauty. Soon, as I moved through the clouds, I saw the outline of a vast city.

Even the capital was back to its forr beauty after being partially destroyed in the battle with the orcs.

The soldiers on the wall stood with their arms at their sides even as I entered the city.

Down below, the common folks turned their gaze to the sky, and a ruckus of cheers could be heard coming from below.

Even the common folks had started believing that I was so ancient demon god.

They frequently made visits to Eden, bringing with them gifts. They even built a statue and a temple.

In the middle of the capital, a vast castle stood, towering over all the surrounding structures.

I made myself small enough to slip in through one of the entrances, then quickly made my way through the castle towards the throne room.

When I arrived, Cassandra was perched atop her throne, surrounded by nobles.

It looked like they were having so kind of discussion, but they stopped and lowered their heads the mont I entered.

"Apex, I didn’t know you were coming here."

"I needed to speak to you about sothing."

The mont I said that, she turned to the nobles standing beside her. Imdiately, they bowed their heads in understanding and left.

When they were finally gone, she asked:

"What is it?"

There wasn’t an easy way of saying it, so I just went out and said it.

"I’m leaving."

"Leaving!" She shouted in a high-pitched voice, which caused her voice to crack. "Leaving? Why did we do sothing wrong?"

"No, I... er... have so errands to take care of."

Her face seed to say, ’What errands could a god have?’

"Oh, ok."

Her expression was downcast, but I couldn’t exactly tell her where I was going.

"Don’t worry. I’ll be back within a month or so," I assured her.

Hearing that, a small smile appeared on her face as she nodded her head.

"By the ti you get back, I’ll have a massive demon army here waiting for you."

She then stood up from her throne and slowly walked over to . She traced her hands along the back of my carapace as if taking in the sight one last ti.

"Goodbye, Apex. Thank you for everything."

"Goodbye to you too."

With that, I gave her one last farewell nod before vibrating my wings and rising into the sky.

Within seconds, I was back soaring over the capital once again.

Looking back, I could see her silhouette standing by the entrance, still waving as I go.

[Ding!]

[Ding!]

Just then, the sound of notifications echoed in my mind. I quickly checked my status to see that there were ssages from soone I added as a friend.

’Where are you? You should’ve been here hours ago!’

’I’m still waiting for you at the inn, so hurry up and get your butt here!’
