[Ding! A Tier 3 Kingdom, Kingdom Faust has initiated a gambling event with you.]
[They are from another league.]
[If they win, you will be affiliated with or automatically absorbed into Kingdom Faust.]
[Additionally, all of you will lose half your combat score to the enemies as well.]
[Challenge: Eliminate 100 players from your opposing kingdom.]
[A chat has been opened up to converse with the players of the Faust kingdom.]
Caelus’s expression imdiately darkened when he saw this.
How co there was no way to decline gambling events?
The Domain clearly had no filter for this, did it?
He could not refuse it.
"A different league?" Caelus was thoughtful. The fact that this was a Tier 3 Kingdom ant it was likely a new one or from the server before the one that opened this year.
A different league, on the other hand, ant that this person was either from another continent or a part of the Aria Continent where everyone was right now.
They were right now in a League, naly #102. Here it was mostly the Solaris Kingdom and other neighboring kingdoms like Winborne, Ritewing, and others.
Solaris was in fact in the south of the Aria continent, and Faust reminded him of no one.
Caelus was clearly irritated. How could they do such a thing?
He turned to Sylvia and spoke. "Keep making potions. I will be right back."
As he said that, he flew into the air with his majestic wings stretching out.
Boom!
His figure then tore through the air as it shot out into the open, going toward the League barrier.
While that happened, the chat was going insane.
[Faust (King of Faust Kingdom): Greetings Little Worms of Southern Territory. I had received news of a bunch of fledglings on the new servers that are daring enough to not beco affiliated with a kingdom. It is only natural that I be kind enough to let you all into my Faust Kingdom. Do not worry. I am very generous. As long as you agree to work like a slave for , I will pay you all 100 Origin credits daily.]
[Faust: For now, my people will co over to set an example by taking the lives of 100 people in your world. But before that, we will destroy your cabins in case you guys have level 3 or above cabins. We do not want you guys not dying, do we? How else will we set an example? Death is always the best way to instill fear into human brains. Seeing soone who has a family and friends just like you dying under one single slash of a blade can be more traumatizing than you think.]
[Faust: Then your brain will automatically ask, "Am I going to be next?" And when that happens, your brain will instinctively tell you to be a good, obedient little dog to save yourself from dying like a dog like your friends.]
[Caleb: Boss. We are already on the way. I will be sure to bring you back 100 heads of these newbies.]
[Faust: Good job, Caleb. You will be rewarded for being a good, obedient little dog.]
[Caleb: Thank you, Boss!]
[Erza: Stop wasting ti on these useless fools, Boss. Pay more attention to . I am in my bed, awaiting your arrival.]
[Vaelin: ....]
Vaelin, who was in the Tavern of Endless Food and Drinks, looked at the chat with a strange expression. Erza is a guy’s na, right?
Faust also seed to be a guy.
Although they were pressured by this Faust guy’s words, they swiftly snapped out of it when Erza appeared. He wanted to laugh out loud after seeing the self-proclamation of wanting to be in bed with him. All that mightiness Faust showed in the chat imdiately vanished.
"Huh, strange. Why did I feel fear when I saw his ssage?" He frowned.
He looked around him. Everyone around him was also shaking slightly from fear seeing the ssage from Faust.
He understood imdiately.
This was so sort of brainwashing skill and people fell for this over a chat?
How is that possible?
Seeing the state of others in the tavern, Vaelin’s expression beca grim. His girlfriend, who was with her other girlfriends, also seed to be terrified of the ssage Faust sent.
Seeing their states, Vaelin activated his skill: Thunderous Echo.
"Wake up!" he exclaid.
With that thunderous voice, everyone snapped out of the mind control.
Imdiately after, they seed to be in confusion.
"What just happened?" Everyone who was visibly confused turned to Vaelin, who imdiately began recounting what happened.
"We need to tell the boss," Sarah stood up and spoke.
"He just sent a private ssage in our kingdom chat saying he has gone to deal with their kingdom."
"What if he gets mind-controlled?"
The others nodded and imdiately began sending ssages.
At the sa ti, people began looking at Vaelin in a new light.
Caelus, who was flying over, saw the ssages sent by the players of his kingdom and frowned.
"Mind control over the chat?"
Caelus was stunned.
That is possible?
He imdiately grew more determined hearing this.
If he got access to this power and applied Silver Tongue over it, would he not be able to gaslight his enemies completely?
He was already near the kingdom. He had the coordinates since the literal challenge was eliminating 100 mbers of the kingdom, after all.
On the way, he saw people departing from the kingdom. They all had a Gold I combat score.
Caelus’s eyes turned cold as he arrived next to the people.
Among them was Caleb. Caelus recognized his face from the chats he got from his kingdom’s players.
"Enemy!" one of them bellowed.
However, as soon as he did, with a twist of Caelus’s hands, the person imdiately disintegrated.
[Ender passive activated. The enemy has been permanently killed.]
"You!" The other enemies looked at Caelus with a cold look on their faces.
However, they too rapidly disintegrated under the pressure of Caelus’s telekinesis.
Each combat score of soone counted. If you had even 1 combat score higher than your opponent, then victory was certain in plain combat, and likewise, the disparity between them and Caelus was huge.
As soon as the enemies died, Caelus sensed sothing off. A bright light was emitting out from the places where the enemies once stood, and then the following mont they began blinking rapidly.
"Not good!"
Boom!
A terrifying explosion went off from where Caelus stood.
However, before it could touch Caelus, he had already activated his Projection fra and fractured wings to dodge the explosion as he rose into the air.
"This guy... Faust. He is crafty," Caelus mumbled with a darkened look.
The person he was dealing with was a formidable foe. Soone whose abilities he knew nothing about.
But the capabilities shown so far made it clear that it was not so normal Talent or ability.
It was sothing that had a terrifying area of effect and directly ignored the concept of distance for it to work.
And most importantly, it was related to the mind.
Caelus looked at the sky, pointed his finger, and shouted. "Open up."
[Ding! The Heavenly Bell tolls...]
[The profound mysteries of the world unfurl before your very eyes.]
[Tread lightly, for the adversary before you harbors boundless killing intent; a single mont of carelessness shall shatter your soul and extinguish your life fla.]
[Yet, fear not. You have been bestowed with the heaven-defying providence and assistance needed to suppress his domain and sever their Apostolic Power.]
[Go forth, Fortune is with you. Whether you ascend to the peak of victory or fall into the abyss rests entirely upon the wisdom of your steps.]
Caelus looked at the ssage unhappily.
Why was it talking like that? The ssage here was very vague. But at the sa ti, it made it clear that he had what it took to deal with this enemy.
That was all he needed to know.
Swoosh!
His figure blurred the sky as he rolled down onto the barrier covering the kingdom with imnse speed.
It seed like this Faust also had the wall update.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The next mont, Caelus began using just his physical capabilities to puncture through the barrier do on top of the kingdom.
Inside the cabin, which looked like a huge castle.
Faust, the King of the Faust Kingdom, sat in her bed.
She was not a guy, but a girl. She had long black hair, a wide playful grin on her beautiful face, and an ample figure.
In her hands was a chain, and on the floor was a guy in his underwear, on all fours with his tongue out while breathing heavily like a dog.
"Who is my good boy?" Faust, seeing the man who was none other than Erza, smiled sweetly and patted his head. "Who is my good boy~?"
"!" Erza barked like a dog as he answered in a human tone.
"Good," Faust chuckled softly as she stretched out her legs and rested them on Erza’s face, who wore a look of bliss.
Just then, Faust frowned.
"Caleb and the others are dead?" Faust frowned, then burst out laughing.
"Huh? Interesting." Faust smiled.
Just as quickly, she sensed the bombing above the barrier.
"To think there would be a formidable gold rank in a newbie server."
"Could it be Player 555?" Faust licked her lips as she stood up.
She casually walked toward her window and saw Caelus in the sky, bombarding the barrier above. The following mont, it broke through.
Faust smiled even more than before seeing this.
