Now reading: Chapter 35: The Six Rebels of the Axiom Origin, Enders! from Endless Extraction in a Game-Like World, a Game novel by Shennn3K.

The light around Caelus violently twisted. For a split second, the only thing he saw was a blinding, growing radiance flooding his entire vision. Streaks of pure white light blurred past him, making him feel as if he was traveling through the endless outer space of the cosmos inside a light-speed spaceship.

"Huh?" Caelus took a sharp, deep breath when he suddenly felt solid ground beneath his feet. There was no other physical sensation except the overwhelming relief of finally being able to breathe again.

Drip! Drip! Drip!

The echoing sound of water dripping rang out in his ears, and slowly, the environnt laid itself bare before his eyes.

He was standing inside a narrow, ancient space. There were several intricate wall paintings lining the sides. In the absolute center of the room stood a giant, awe-inspiring statue of a majestic dragon. It held a massive stone sword in its claws, and from the very tip of that blade, glowing golden water dripped endlessly down into the dark abyss below.

The stone path led straight towards the edge. Floating in the middle of the void, directly behind the dragon statue, was a single, completely closed door.

Seeing this, Caelus cautiously walked forward. He looked down past the edge and saw an endless, terrifying starry space sprawling beneath his feet.

"Where the hell have I co to?" Caelus mumbled in pure disbelief.

Did he actually get teleported into deep space?

Pushing that lingering thought aside, he turned his attention towards a strange stone chanism situated right next to him. It was a pedestal holding a switch-like device with a giant, heavy button on top.

Caelus looked around and hesitated.

There was absolutely no physical way to cross over to the floating door, nor were there any other paths leading back to where he spawned. All that stood behind him was a dead, solid wall.

That ant this specific button was the only possible way to advance forward.

But he did not click it imdiately. He took his ti to thoroughly check every single corner of his spawn platform in case he missed any hidden clues. What if he accidentally triggered a trapdoor and fell into the starry void by pressing the button? In a mysterious domain like this, the chances of it being a lethal trap were undoubtedly high.

After a few tense minutes of inspection, he finally steeled his nerves and decided to press it down.

Whirrr!

A brilliant golden light suddenly erged from the base of the chanism. There were actually complex, circuit-like engravings hidden on the stone floor, and they rapidly lit up with a blinding golden color. Imdiately, the glowing lines shot straight out into the empty void, forming a stable passage made out of a transparent, golden energy bridge.

Seeing this, Caelus heaved a heavy sigh of relief. It was simply a bridge chanism.

Now, there was a direct, secure path connecting him to the floating door.

He looked up at the majestic dragon statue one last ti and took a firm step forward.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

He swiftly crossed the glowing distance and finally managed to land safely on the other side, stepping directly in front of the mysterious door.

The door itself was forged from pure gold. It had intricate embroideries and ancient, twisting patterns running across its entire surface.

Everything about this eerie place gave Caelus a deep sense of unease.

But there was only one path forward.

Sighing deeply, he channeled power into his hands and forcefully pushed the heavy doors open.

The golden tal suddenly blinked, turning a terrifying, ominous golden-black for a split second.

The exact instant the door opened, another violent, irresistible suction force completely enveloped Caelus.

Boom!

The very next instance, a deafening explosion rang out in his ears.

Swoosh!

Violent digital static abruptly spread across his vision as he was forcefully teleported yet again, suddenly appearing floating in an endless, pitch-black void.

The following instant, a massive, glowing book materialized out of nowhere in the dark void.

Seeing this, Caelus was completely stunned.

A book? Why was there a book hidden in here?

"Nothing makes sense anymore," his lips twitched involuntarily.

He should have foreseen this bizarre outco. This was a unique Treasure Map key directly tied to the real world, not a normal Domain dungeon. He entered expecting chests full of premium rewards, but there was only a single book that looked strangely digital.

The next mont, the ancient to shot directly towards where Caelus was floating and forcefully opened itself.

Imdiately, the glowing, holographic words written on the pages entirely captured his attention.

[Before the dawn of ti, a single supre existence ruled the Axiom Origin. It held absolute authority over all creation. [ERR: CONCEPT_REALITY] itself was forced to bow before its might.]

[When a new Epoch dawns, the Enders will tear their way out of the abyss with Axiom Origin Finishes its Cycle. They will return, and [CRITICAL ERR: PROPHECY FRAGNT MISSING].]

The very next mont, the dark void around him literally shattered like fragile glass.

A piercing ray of chaotic, Golden-black light erupted from the cracked space. From within that terrifying light, a colossal, world-ending behemoth slowly erged. It possessed two jagged, world-piercing horns and abyssal eyes that looked capable of devouring all of creation. It stared directly into Caelus’s soul.

That horrifying entity was the very last thing he saw before his physical figure violently flickered out of the space. As his consciousness was forcefully ejected back into reality, a glaring golden notification violently burned itself into his retinas.

[System: Class Awakening Successful.]

[System: You have officially beco an Ender.]

"What?!" A completely baffled look ford across Caelus’s face.
