An ocean-like azure blue once again covered the entire map.

The spots representing the two Sea Beasts were both rather light in color.
This indicated they were active in the deep sea.
Not in the sunlit layer, not even in the Twilight Layer.
Having gotten a general idea of the two S-rank Sea Beasts’ locations and satisfied his curiosity, Shi Ming withdrew the Awakening Power from the Map of the Endless Sea.
If he revealed such precious intelligence about the Sea Beasts’ locations to major powers like the Lighthouse or the Twelve Stars, he might receive a handso reward. But the more likely outco was that he wouldn’t be able to hold onto this map and would instead bring disaster upon himself.

After resting for a mont and restoring his Spiritual Power, Shi Ming, now in peak condition, took the Sun-Shooter out of his system inventory.
Along with it, he also took out 1,000 High-Level Sea Crystal Stones, one Sailing Heart obtained from the Huang Shi,
and most importantly, 1,000 grams of Xuanwu’s blood.
This was a sample he had specially taken before he bathed in the blood to Awaken. He had collected about five liters in total. The energy within the blood was still abundant and hadn’t been depleted, but it couldn’t be used to help others Awaken and could only serve as a material.
In reality, upgrading a Wandering Ship to an Admiral-class Ship only required 1,000 grams of A-rank Sea Beast Blood. Theoretically, S-rank Sea Beast Blood wasn’t necessary.
However, Shi Ming had never killed an A-rank Sea Beast, and the blood of an A-rank Awakened couldn’t be used as a substitute. He could only use the Xuanwu’s blood as a backward-compatible alternative.

Suddenly, he felt a force abruptly drain nearly half of the Spiritual Power in his mind!
He even experienced a brief mont of blankness and nearly fell to the ground. Fortunately, the sensation didn’t last long. By the ti he recovered, all the materials before him, including the azure Sailing Heart, had transford into a thick, gaseous mist that swirled around the Sun-Shooter.
His Spiritual Power was still draining rapidly, just not as suddenly as the initial burst.
Shi Ming gritted his teeth against the discomfort, using his physical strength to keep himself upright.
Ti ticked by, second by second. Finally, just as he felt so exhausted that he was about to pull up a chair to sit down, a notification for "Upgrade Successful" appeared in his vision.
"Whew... I was almost completely drained!"
Shi Ming leaned on the table, gazing at the Sun-Shooter before him.
This didn’t an his Spiritual Power was weak; it was just that the Brain of Creation’s process of upgrading a Gold-class to an Admiral-class ship consud an imnse amount of it.
Had it been anyone else, they likely would have collapsed at the initial drain, and the upgrade would have been a guaranteed failure.
After recovering in a sleep pod for five minutes, Shi Ming eagerly approached the now Admiral-class Wandering Ship, the Sun-Shooter, to observe its changes.
This was an Admiral-class ship!
There were only about a hundred of them in the entire world!
Each one was the foundation of a powerful faction or a nation!

Aside from the blood, Shi Ming had none of the materials for the next upgrade.
But that didn’t matter. The leap from Gold-class to Admiral-class was already a massive transformation—
As a small Admiral-class Wandering Ship, it perfectly embodied the saying "good things co in small packages." Its durability was three tis that of an ordinary Admiral-class ship, capable of withstanding even a powerful blow from an S-rank Sea Beast! Its agility was also far beyond what they could ever hope to match!
Its speed had also increased by 1.5 tis.
It also had a new flight mode—and not the kind you find on a phone. After activating flight mode, the Sun-Shooter could actually leave the sea’s surface and float in the air, just like a flying sword!

An Admiral Trait could be simply understood as a "skill" unique to the Wandering Ship. As far as Shi Ming knew, so ships had traits like [Steadfast], so had [Domain Suppression], so had [Slaughter], so had [Aura of Might], and others had [Po Jun]...
Every Admiral-class Wandering Ship possessed an "Admiral Trait."
This was the biggest difference between them and Gold-class Wandering Ships.

As its captain, Shi Ming perceived every change in the Sun-Shooter, so he naturally learned of its Admiral Trait imdiately.

Upon activating this Admiral Trait, the Wandering Ship will perform an overload startup. At the cost of either a 24-hour system shutdown or 1 Pure Do Crystal, it can travel at a super-high speed of 880 m/s for 30 seconds. This can be stacked with any mode. The maximum duration is thirty seconds. When Super Overload is active, the high speed will not affect the crew inside the ship.
