"Is it really you... Xiaomu?!"
Though many guesses flickered in his mind, when Wu Lie truly laid eyes on him, his heart surged like a stormy sea, overwheld with emotion.
"Uncle Wu, co in and have a seat. I’ll brew a pot of tea."
"Alright..."
Inside the room, Wu Lie opened his mouth several tis wanting to speak, but the words got swallowed before they were uttered. Soon Su Mu brewed a pot of tea, first pouring a cup for Uncle Wu, then one for himself.
Wisps of steam rose, the fragrance of tea filled the room, Su Mu sat quietly, having sowhat anticipated Wu Lie’s arrival.
"Good tea."
Not knowing what to say, Wu Lie opened the teacup, raised the cup, and lightly sipped. The aroma was rich, but at this mont Wu Lie had no mind to savor the tea.
Su Mu also took a sip of tea from his cup, a hint of nostalgia flickered in his eyes. This mountain tea was collected by a Pharmacist from the south, now the Pharmacist rests under Cyan Bamboo while the Little Doctor was taken away by the Huo Family.
A faint regret surfaced in his heart, why hadn’t he asked where the mountain tea ca from back then, who can foresee future events?
The mountain tea in Su Mu’s hand was originally sent yearly by the Little Doctor, mostly stolen from the Pharmacist, and now drinking it ant having less of it. Su Mu treasured this mountain tea greatly, rarely brewing it on ordinary days.
"Uncle Wu, is there sothing you want to ask?"
Su Mu put down the tea cup, breaking the silence in the room, Wu Lie looked up, and finally voiced what was on his mind.
"Black Mountain Forest?"
Su Mu said nothing, just nodded lightly. Wu Lie received a clear response, his pupils contracted sharply. After taking a deep breath, he quickly rattled off several place nas or titles.
"Shuangbai Academy?"
Su Mu nodded again.
"Changfeng City... Unparalleled Boxing and Stick Skills?"
After Su Mu nodded once more, Wu Lie felt his scalp tingle, his body as if struck by lightning. Only after a slight recovery did Su Mu suitably speak.
"Uncle Wu, your visit tonight is well-tid, I actually planned to find you in a few days... Recently I feel my skills have reached a bottleneck, I want to explore the wider world, seeking breakthroughs."
Upon hearing these words, Wu Lie instinctively opened his mouth wanting to say sothing, had many questions to ask, but ultimately held back. As the head of the Forging Workshop, having been in charge for decades, Wu Lie was no fool, he naturally sensed the aning behind Su Mu’s words.
Reflecting on the Cyan Cloud Army’s full mobilization tonight, and the incident with the Taiping Dao Envoy that night, it beca clear Su Mu could no longer remain. The small temple of the Forging Workshop could hardly accommodate such a true dragon as Su Mu.
Forcing a discussion would only harm the bond between them, it would be better not to speak at all from the start.
Thinking of this, Wu Lie nodded.
"Indeed... Given your talent, Xiaomu, Cyan Cloud is too small for you, you shouldn’t be constrained here, you should step out into a broader world."
"Ti passes swiftly... It’s been years since you first ca to the Forging Workshop, the three master craftsn are very worried about you and have been continuously inquiring about your whereabouts." Wu Lie looked at Su Mu’s young and handso, calm deanor, feeling a sense of blur before him.
Years ago, who would have thought that an unknown youth from a small village would rise swiftly within just a few years, becoming the top warrior of Three Counties who slayed the Black Mountain Celestial King.
At this mont, Wu Lie suddenly recalled the recomndation letter sent by his Junior Brother Li, which contained just one evaluation of Su Mu: "Gold scales are not ordinary fish in a pond!"
It seems his ability to judge people wasn’t as sharp as Junior Brother Li’s; the once unknown youth has now long since made a na for himself in Three Counties!
"Alright, before leaving I will go see the three master craftsn."
"Indeed, that would be good."
The Su Mu before him seed familiar yet sowhat strange in Wu Lie’s eyes. The two of them continued to chat for a long ti, avoiding ntions of Li Feiyu and the Taiping Dao Envoy; simply drinking tea and discussing family matters, recounting so of the amusing incidents that occurred in the Forging Workshop during this period.
The pot of tea was quickly finished, finally Wu Lie stood up and said, "Xiaomu, I won’t announce your departure for now, I’ll just claim you’re returning ho to rest for a while; when enough ti passes, presumably fewer people will focus on it."
Indeed, ever since Su Mu’s nded ridians, he had this thought. He intentionally diluted his presence, thus when he leaves one day, it won’t attract much attention. Ti will gradually erode everything.
After tonight, the identity of Li Feiyu should co to an end as well; tomorrow morning, this top warrior who slew the Black Mountain Celestial King will be branded as a rebel attacking the Qingyun County Magistrate. His departure would also benefit the Forging Workshop.
"Next ti... it might be the last ti seeing Xiaomu."
Wu Lie secretly sighed deeply, having long suspected Su Mu would leave, sensing sohow that tonight’s major event outside the city, which mobilized the Cyan Cloud Army, might be linked to Xiaomu.
Su Mu personally escorted Wu Lie out of the courtyard. As the breeze ca, when Wu Lie turned back again, the man behind him had already vanished.
"Xiaomu... is truly the ’Spear Dominance, Unstoppable Divine Fist’ top warrior of Three Counties, Li Feiyu?" Wu Lie’s emotions were quite complex, even now he felt sowhat dreamlike.
Linking Xiaomu, the Taiping Dao Envoy, and Li Feiyu seed too far-fetched, tonight’s matter turned into a secret never to be shared, Wu Lie planned to take it to the grave.
Wu Lie, being smart, understood these matters getting out would be detrintal to both the Forging Workshop and Su Mu.
