We walked through every room in the house. All eight bedrooms had their own bathrooms, but only three of them had bathtubs. Not ordinary bathtubs, but large, impressive whirlpool tubs.

Since being born into this world, this was the first ti I had ever seen a whirlpool tub in person.

Besides the bedrooms, there was also a library, an office, and three completely empty rooms that could be used for anything. My music studio could even be built in one of those rooms.

As for the living room and kitchen, I don't even need to say much about them.

The living room was huge and spacious, and since the house ca fully furnished, there was an enormous gray sofa that was incredibly soft. There was also a traditional Japanese table with a built-in leg heater.

It'll be great to sit here during the winter.

Oh, and speaking of climate control, the house had air conditioning throughout every room as well as heating. In other words, we wouldn't have any trouble dealing with either the heat or the cold.

After we finished looking through the entire interior of the house, we headed to the backyard. The backyard was even larger than the front garden. There was green grass and a few flowers, but not much else.

It was a space that could be used to build anything.

There was so much room that you could even build another house here if necessary.

Honestly, this would be the perfect place for a barbecue area and so tables. Whenever we invite people over, we could have a barbecue for everyone.

Although we don't really have many friends.

The only family that had ever been close to mine was the family of my childhood friend. They used to live in the apartnt next door. My mother would tell to play with their daughter almost every day. They moved away years ago because of her father's job, and I've never heard from them since.

I wonder how that girl is doing these days.

As I looked out over the green grass, my mother and father approached from behind.

Before they could say anything, I asked,

"So, what did you think?"

"I think the house is beautiful. But I still think it's too much money," my father said.

"Your father is right. It's very expensive," my mother added.

"But did you like the house or not?" I turned toward them with a smile.

Both of my parents admitted that they liked the house, and since I liked it too, I said,

"Then let's buy it."

Realizing that I wasn't going to change my mind, my parents gave up trying to argue. My mother, who gets emotional easily, hugged and started crying. My father joined our embrace but didn't shed a single tear.

Even so, I could feel how proud he was of .

I'm sure I'll make both of you even prouder in the future.

A few days passed, and the final day of filming finally arrived.

At least, the final day for .

I'm really going to miss this.

As soon as I arrived at the studio, everyone greeted with smiles on their faces.

I headed straight to my dressing room with my mother. As soon as the makeup artist entered, I sat down in front of the mirror.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'll admit, this is the first ti I've actually felt nervous."

"Are the scenes difficult to film?"

"No, that's not it. It's just that this is the last day. I haven't made a single mistake so far. Can you imagine making one on the final day?"

The makeup artist laughed after hearing that.

"Hahaha, you're funny, Kyo."

"But honestly, I'm going to miss this," I said, my expression changing as I stared at my reflection.

"But I heard you received a new job offer for a TV series."

"Who told you that?"

"Rina. Hehe."

"That woman..." So she really does leak information like that to people?

"She's actually a very close friend of mine."

"As for that job, I turned it down. I read the script, and it was terrible. So bad that I found it unpleasant."

Besides the story being extrely cliché, there were also several highly questionable scenes involving forced sexual acts.

The problem isn't addressing that subject.

The problem is treating it lightly.

The screenwriter is terrible.

"I see..." The makeup artist smiled awkwardly.

"But either way, I don't want to participate in another series right now. I'm going to focus entirely on my career as Aoi Haruki." I smiled. "The last thing I'll do before disappearing for a while is an advertising campaign."

"An advertising campaign? Now you've got curious~~"

"You'll see soon enough."

I couldn't talk about the contract I'd signed with Nintendo, so I didn't say anything more. Even though I trusted her, I didn't want any information leaking out.

The look my mother gave seed to say the sa thing.

Don't say anything unnecessary.

Ti passed.

My makeup was finished, and I had already changed into the required costu.

I left my dressing room and headed off to my final scenes.

POV: Third Person

"Action."

As soon as filming began, Kyo slowly walked forward and opened the front door.

The mont he stepped inside, the light from the living room illuminated his face, which was now covered in injuries. There was blood at the corner of his mouth, and one of his eyes was swollen shut.

He staggered slightly as he kicked off his shoes.

Everyone in the studio watched attentively.

Every movent felt natural, as though he had truly beco Sota Mizuno and had just been brutally beaten.

Then his mother, played by Keiko Fujimura, appeared.

"Sota?"

The mont she saw her son's face, her expression changed.

She was horrified by the state he was in.

His white shirt was stained with blood.

His lips were split.

His eyes were swollen.

There was blood on his forehead.

"Sota, what happened? What happened to you?"

She rushed over, gently holding Sota's face while examining his injuries.

"What's going on here?"

Then his father, played by Hiroshi Takayama, appeared.

The mont he saw his son's face, he was initially shocked, but quickly forced himself to remain indifferent.

He knew those injuries were deserved.

He knew there was a reason they had happened.

Even though he acted indifferent, his heart still ached.

While his mother cried and desperately tried to understand what had happened, Sota slowly turned his gaze toward his father.

His eyes were filled with sadness.

The eyes of soone who no longer believed in humanity.

The sorrow in his expression could be felt by everyone in the studio.

His performance was perfect.

For the first ti in a very long ti, Sota finally broke down and cried, apologizing to his parents right there.

Both Keiko Fujimura and Hiroshi Takayama were left completely stunned.
