After Kyo stepped away, the director had a brief discussion with Emilia, and she began taking everything more seriously. Kyo also cald down a bit after Emilia stopped acting like a child.
Kyo was curious about her age, but he didn't ask.
A few minutes later, filming finally began.
The director checked all the caras, lighting, and sound before shouting, "Action!"
As soon as he called action, Kyo and Emilia, who were holding hands, approached the bedroom door and walked inside.
"Co on, I still want to reach level 30 today!" Emilia shouted as she tossed her bag onto the bed.
Kyo took his Nintendo Switch out of his bag and then threw the bag onto Emilia's bed. He sat down on the floor of the room and turned on his console. With a smile on his face, he selected the ga and got ready to play.
Emilia, who was still standing, looked at Kyo, and her face turned red. In the scene, her character was supposed to act that way, and her performance was perfect...
Except it wasn't acting.
Emilia was genuinely embarrassed.
That made everything feel even more natural.
"Hey, can I sit there?" Emilia pouted, pointing at Kyo's lap.
Kyo looked confused for a mont before smiling.
"Of course."
Kyo opened his arms, and Emilia jumped toward him, sitting between his legs. She rested her back against his chest, and Kyo placed his chin on top of her head.
Kyo was acting naturally, but Emilia was already at the edge of her limit.
Her heart felt like it could explode at any mont.
Kyo continued acting, skillfully moving his fingers while fighting a boss in a Nintendo Switch-exclusive ga called Mushroom Wars. While playing, he ended up dying.
Then he asked,
"Do you want to try?"
However, when Emilia was about to say her next line...
"I-I-I-I…"
She ended up stuttering from embarrassnt and nervousness.
"Cut! Emilia, what are you doing? I told you to take this seriously!"
Emilia couldn't say anything. She remained frozen in the sa position.
Kyo looked at her blonde hair and gently placed his hand on her head.
"It's okay. Let's try again," he said, trying to be friendly.
Hearing those words only made Emilia even more nervous.
'What is this? Is it love at first sight? Or should I say... love at first performance together!? Kyaaaa, my heart is going to explode!'
Emilia covered her face with her hands and laughed like an idiot, completely ignoring the director's complaints.
Kyo, who wanted to stand up, simply sighed.

After that little incident, filming was interrupted over and over again. It took them nearly an hour to record that single scene, which left the director extrely irritated.
Kyo was annoyed at first as well, but then he thought,
'This is probably my fault since Emilia isn't used to physical contact with boys.'
After that, he cald down.
Once filming for that scene was finally completed, it was ti to shoot the scenes in Kyo's room—or rather, the room of the character he was portraying. The next scenes didn't involve much physical contact, so they were fild much more quickly.
When she wasn't embarrassed, Emilia was actually a very good actress.
Kyo was a little surprised.
Three hours passed inside the studio.
When filming finally ca to an end, the director and several staff mbers invited Kyo to have dinner with everyone at a restaurant, and he accepted. Naturally, his mother would be joining him as well.
Fortunately, the restaurant wasn't far from the studio. Everyone walked there together. Even Rina and Daiki joined the dinner, although they sat at a separate table along with Kyo's mother.
Dinner lasted an hour before everyone was full and exhausted.
Kyo then said goodbye to everyone and left the restaurant with his mother, Rina, and Daiki.
However, before he could get far from the restaurant, Emilia appeared.
"Kyo!"
"Hm?"
"Can you give your number?" Emilia asked, her eyes shining with anticipation.
Kyo smiled.
"Sure."
He took out his phone and showed Emilia a QR code.
As soon as she added Kyo's number to her contacts, she flashed a huge smile.
"Thank you! I'll send you a ssage later!"
Then she quickly ran off.
"Huff..."
Kyo sighed.
'But we're going to see each other tomorrow anyway...'

POV: Kyo
As soon as I entered the house, the ss everywhere caught by surprise. Since we're moving in two days, there were boxes all over the place. Most of them were filled with clothes and other belongings.
We won't be taking the TV or any furniture since the new house already cos furnished.
The only things I'm taking from my room are my computer and my clothes. There's nothing else I really want to bring.
I went straight to my room, which was also packed with boxes, and then took a shower.
After I ca out of the bathroom, I heard my phone ringing.
It was Emilia calling.
I didn't answer and sent her a ssage saying I was busy.
After that, I turned on my computer and sat down to start working.
I have to deliver the illustrations for Oregairu Volu 5 by tomorrow, and I haven't even finished the first one yet.
"It's already 9pm... I'm probably not finishing this until the middle of the night."
Kuroda hadn't made the deadline very clear. If I have to deliver everything in the morning, I'll have to stay awake all night.
"Huff... I didn't want to have to do this, but..."
I opened my drawing software and started working.
Ti passed.
At 1am my mother ca into my room to ask why I was still awake, and I explained the situation to her.
She told to talk to Mr. Kuroda and postpone the release of Oregairu Volu 5 a little, but I refused.
Then my mother made coffee and brought it to .
I drank her strong coffee and felt completely refreshed.
Before I even realized it, it was already 5am.
"I finished it... I finally finished it..."
I celebrated quietly, without shouting or anything.
Then I emailed the illustrations to Mr. Kuroda and threw myself onto the bed.
