I managed to type the final volu faster than I expected. By the ti dinner ca around, I had already finished nearly half of it. I'm really enjoying what I'm writing. It's the first ti I've written this volu and actually liked what I was doing.
I had written and erased it many tis before.
During dinner, I talked to my father about it.
"So you finally started writing the last volu. I'm curious to know how you decided to end the story. Do you think your readers will like it?"
"Hmmm… I'd say most of them will, but so might feel the ending is a bit rushed. I decided not to drag things out too much."
"I see. Can you tell how it ends?"
"Do you really want to know? Wouldn't you rather read it?"
"To be honest, I'm a big fan of the story and I'd hate to get spoiled. I'll read it when the volu is published." My father laughed, and my mother laughed along with him.
"I don't know what you see in that story. I watched the first season and thought it was too violent. I still can't believe you wrote sothing like that at your age. And you read it and still approved it." She looked at my father.
"I thought the story was good. I didn't really mind the violence."
"Our son was four years old, you know?"
"I know…"
"It's true, Kyo—where did you learn all of that? Writing all those violent scenes, even torture. You also know a lot about fantasy and gas… but I've never seen you play anything on your computer."
"Well, I watched a lot of series and gaplay videos on YouTube. When you watch the sa things over and over, you end up learning."
"So that's it… I should have been more careful about what you were watching…" my mother murmured.
"And you were about to bla ," my father said.
"Don't argue about that. What matters is that the story beca a success." I smiled innocently at them.

When Sunday arrived, I finally finished the last volu of Overlord. It was still early, so I had plenty of ti during the day to work on another chapter of Dragon Ball or maybe finish the second volu of Oregairu.
With that "problem" solved, I felt a lot lighter.
Now I can focus entirely on Oregairu and finish all the volus as quickly as possible since it's a complete story—and then start writing a new one. Probably another fantasy.
I've been thinking about what to write next. Maybe Sli or Mushoku Tensei.
I considered writing Re:Zero, but that's a work without a defined ending.
Or maybe I could write a cody this ti. I've read all the volus of Konosuba, and that story is finished.
Well, I'll think about it later.
I wrote an email to Mr. Kuroda with the final volu of Overlord attached. I asked for his opinion and also asked him to let the other editors read it as well.
I think it's a good ending, but it's better to get feedback from several experienced people.
I opened the text file for the second volu of Oregairu, and before I started writing, I got up and left my room. I grabbed a snack and so chocolate milk.
Before I began, I opened a YouTube video of a famous Japanese VTuber reacting to an episode from the third season of Overlord.
"It's impressive how much better Overlord's production is in this world."
The direction and artistic choices were different, but the character designs were identical, which relieved .
But the animation… it's far superior to my old world.
It feels like I'm watching Overlord with a production quality similar to Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen. Impressive.
Many people say it's the best-animated ani of the decade. Its production is way, way above average.
I'm really lucky to be able to watch an Overlord ani with such high-quality production.
People in my old world would pay a lot of money to get sothing like this.
The VTuber seed to be having a great ti. Since it was stread live, she interacted with her chat while watching.
I should get back to writing now.
I closed the video before it even reached the halfway point and started writing the second volu of Oregairu.
The words flowed quickly.
It feels like I'm getting faster and faster at writing over ti. My fingers move so quickly that a normal person would be startled just watching.
My thoughts were just as fast—like a machine.
I never get tired of this.
The feeling of "creating" sothing so good in such a short amount of ti—it's incredibly satisfying.
Two hours passed. I had already written over 20,000 words in just two hours.
Isn't that terrifying?
I cracked my fingers and stood up to stretch. Right after that, my mother walked into my room.
"Did sothing happen?" I asked, since she seed to be in a hurry.
"I just received a ssage from the photographer who took your pictures last ti. She said your photos are already on Uniqlo's website and Instagram."
"Really? That was fast, wasn't it?"
"Aren't you excited to see them?"
"? Not really. I'm pretty busy right now."
"Did you finish the last volu of Overlord you said you were working on?"
"Yes, I already finished it and sent it to Mr. Kuroda. I'm writing my new light novel now—the romance one I told you about."
"Ah, I see."
"But I'm a bit tired, so I think I'll go out for a bit."
"I think I'm hallucinating."
"Hm?"
"This is the first ti you've decided to go out on your own just to walk around or have fun. You're not sick, are you?"
I couldn't help but laugh.
"I'm fine, Mom. I just want to go out and get so ice cream."
"Alright, but be careful. Oh, and wear sothing nice—don't go out dressed like that."
"What's wrong with it?"
"You're joking, right?"
I looked down and realized I was wearing old, worn-out clothes.
Maybe I should take the opportunity to buy so new ones.
I do have a lot of money, after all.
So after taking a shower and changing clothes, I left my house and got into a taxi heading toward downtown Tokyo.
