The store in front of was called Aston Martin Tokyo—a car dealership. Not for ordinary cars, but for luxury ones. I looked through the glass and saw many high-end vehicles inside.
BMWs, Porsches, and even Ferraris and Lamborghinis. It was truly impressive. It was my first ti seeing cars like those in person. Not even walking around Tokyo had I ever had the chance to see a Ferrari.
Daiki stepped closer to and said, "This might be difficult."
"Hm?"
"You're only 13 years old, Mr. Kyo. You can't buy a car." He smiled at .
"That's why I brought you here."
"What?" He was speechless, staring at . "I can't do that. I work for you, but this is a bit too much."
"I trust you, Daiki. You just need to sign the docunts for . I'll pay for the car in cash—I have the money in my account. After that, my father will transfer the car into his na."
"The bureaucracy of transferring a car to soone else is quite a hassle."
"That's fine. So, what do you say?" I asked, smiling at him.
Daiki stayed silent for a while, thinking carefully before answering. Then he said, "Don't you think it'd be better if I went to your house and brought your mother?"
Hearing that, I sighed.
"Even though it's my father's birthday, I also want it to be a surprise for my mother. And if she finds out I'm doing this, she definitely won't allow it."
"It is a bit crazy, after all."
"I don't think so. They're my parents, and they support a lot."
I always thought they were very well off financially—but that's not really the case. So now, I want to start helping them, giving them gifts. I'm also planning to look for a new house soon.
My parents will definitely feel uncomfortable if I start spending a lot of money on them, but I still want to do it.
"You're a great son, Kyo." Daiki chuckled and ruffled my hair. "Ah, sorry—I didn't an to," he added, startled.
"Do you have a child, Daiki?"
"I have a daughter. She's only four." He smiled, probably rembering her face.
I stepped into the store.
"Let's go," I called to him.
As soon as we entered, a man in a suit approached us. He looked to be over 40. His expression was very serious, and he looked at as if I were nothing.
Are these people always like this?
I glanced down and noticed I was wearing very ordinary clothes.
But as soon as he reached us, his expression suddenly changed.
"Welco to Aston Martin. My na is Sota Mizuhiko."
Sota? This guy has the sa na as my character in the series?
And that smile? You were just looking at with disdain.
"My na is Kyo Evans. This is Daiki, my driver. I ca here to buy a car—could you help with that?" I said casually, smiling at him.
The man looked visibly uncomfortable and asked in a cold tone,
"What kind of car are you looking for, sir?"

I talked for a while with the salesman, Sota, without caring what he thought of , and told him I wanted an SUV—a car for everyday use. But a luxury one.
Well, all the cars here are luxury anyway.
He started showing so SUVs, and most of them were BMWs. All very beautiful—and very expensive.
The average price of the cars here was around 10 to 15 million yen.
That's close to 100,000 dollars. A considerable amount.
But it's sothing I can afford.
My contract with the publisher for Overlord improved with each volu, and the contract I signed for Oregairu is very good. The money I've earned over the years is no joke. I probably have more than 100 million yen in my bank account.
Actually… maybe even 200 million.
I don't know exactly how much I have, since it's an account I rarely use and most of the money is invested. I usually ask my father to withdraw so money for to use during the month—he always handles that.
But of course, I also have access to the account.
'But there's a problem. The chances of the bank calling my father about this transaction are very high. He's the account holder, after all.'
I'll talk directly to the account manager and try to sort this out. I've never spoken to him before, but I do have his contact.
After looking at a few cars, I asked Daiki for his opinion.
"Which car would you like to receive? I don't know much about cars. I think this one looks nice."
I pointed at a black BMW. It was a large four-door vehicle—one I'd never seen before.
'Well, I'm technically in the future now. This car didn't exist in my old world.'
Its release year is 2034… it ca out last year.
"It's a good car—more than enough for you and your father. But the price is a bit…"
Its price is 16 million yen. One of the most expensive cars in the store.
After thinking for a mont, I said to the salesman,
"Excuse , I need to speak with my account manager."
I took out my phone and called him.
A few seconds later, he answered.
"Hello?"
"Sorry for calling so suddenly."
"Mr. Kyo? How can I help you?"
"I need to buy sothing very expensive, and I want your help. But you can't tell my father about it."
"That is…"
