I had so many questions to ask Grandma, but Bai Chenyao didn’t give a chance to speak and just dragged out of the room.

After Gu Tiantian and Bai Chenyao left, Mrs. Chen cleaned up the lunchboxes and followed them out.

In the hospital room, only Grandma Gu and Gu Qingfeng were left.

"Mom,"

"Qingfeng, I know what you want to ask, but... I don’t know anything."

Don’t know?

Really don’t know?

But Gu Qingfeng knew his mother’s temperant well; once she said she didn’t know, there was no point in asking further.

"Oh, well, you have a good rest. I’ll go check on Yue Xin and Liangliang."

"Mm, go ahead."

——

Back at the super VIP ward, Mrs. Chen started cooking in the kitchen, and just as Gu Tiantian was about to sit on the sofa, Bai Chenyao pulled her into his arms.

Noticing that Mrs. Chen was still in the room, Gu Tiantian felt awkward.

"A Yao, put down, I can sit by myself."

"I like this!"

Bai Chenyao grabbed a docunt and casually started reading it.

Seeing Bai Chenyao acting so nonchalantly, Gu Tiantian felt even more stifled.

Mrs. Chen, in the kitchen, smiled at the intimate interactions between the couple.

She cooked with even more vigor.

Gu Tiantian was speechless, but there was nothing she could do.

She decided to read the docunt Bai Chenyao was looking at, but she still couldn’t understand anything.

Gu Tiantian began to think she knew too little.

To thrive in this society, she needed to improve her capabilities.

So, she had to enhance herself outside of work as well.

The room was very quiet; you could hear the sounds of Mrs. Chen cooking in the kitchen.

Gu Tiantian waited and waited until Mrs. Chen finally brought the dishes to the table just as Bai Chenyao finished reading his docunts.

Subconsciously, Gu Tiantian felt that Mrs. Chen took a bit longer to cook than usual today.

But maybe it was just her imagination.

Looking at Mrs. Chen’s expression, she seed to be in a great mood.

So when Mrs. Chen brought over the soup, Gu Tiantian couldn’t help but ask her.

"Mrs. Chen, did sothing good happen at ho?"

Mrs. Chen was slightly taken aback, glanced at Mr. Bai holding Miss Gu, and seeing he wasn’t looking at her, she spoke respectfully.

"Sothing good did happen, but the news hasn’t spread yet, so it’s not convenient to say more."

Oh!

That ant no further details were to be given.

Luckily, Gu Tiantian was just asking casually and didn’t mind too much.

Continuing to be fed, Gu Tiantian exhaled a sigh of relief as she saw Mrs. Chen re-enter the kitchen.

But being held and fed by Bai Chenyao like this wasn’t a long-term solution.

Taking the chance since Bai Chenyao seed more approachable today, after eating a piece of stead crucian carp, Gu Tiantian turned to look at Bai Chenyao.

"A Yao, let do it myself."

She sincerely was not a three-year-old child.

Bai Chenyao’s dark and indifferent gaze fell on Gu Tiantian’s face, and though he didn’t speak, his eyes said everything.

Gu Tiantian clicked her tongue and quickly avoided Bai Chenyao’s gaze.

When a bite of stir-fried lettuce ca to her mouth, Gu Tiantian ate it quickly, and only after swallowing did she speak again.

"I’m just worried that holding while eating is inconvenient for you."

See, she was genuinely looking out for him.

However, Bai Chenyao didn’t appreciate it at all.

"It’s fine this way!"

Gu Tiantian: ...

You’re fine, she wasn’t fine at all!

It was unbearably awkward!

Now it’s just the two of them, but if Uncle or Grandma found out, she’d be too embarrassed to face anyone.
