Gu Tiantian blinked, feeling a bit uncomfortable under Bai Chenyao’s intense gaze. She slightly turned her head, trying to avoid his stare.

To avoid Bai Chenyao’s suspicions, she even snuggled a bit closer into his arms.
Already snuggled up, she then simply found the most comfortable position and posture, kept her nerves taut, closed her eyes, and started silently counting sheep.
Gu Tiantian hadn’t expected that she would actually fall asleep.
When she woke up again, she was nestled in Bai Chenyao’s arms, both of them in the car.
She was still wearing a pink nightdress, with a plush thin blanket draped over her.
Bai Chenyao was dressed in a perfectly tailored black suit, polished and fitted, his expression cold and aloof, high and unattainable.
The person driving in front had been replaced by Li Mu.
"A Yao, where are we going?"
