Luckily, the wound didn’t fester or get inflad; otherwise, he would have suffered.
After taking a look at other parts of Bai Chenyao’s body, Gu Tiantian noticed there was also a swelling at his waist, like a scrape, and her brows furrowed even tighter.
Just then, Li Das arrived outside with Doctor Huang.
"Tian Tian, I’ve brought Doctor Huang over. Can we co in?"
Gu Tiantian responded loudly.
"Co in."
As Li Das and Doctor Huang entered, Gu Tiantian got up to make room, only to have Bai Chenyao grab her hand, clearly not wanting her to leave.
"I’ll just be here, let Doctor Huang take a good look at your wounds."
Bai Chenyao frowned with pursed lips, looking as though he wouldn’t compromise.
Gu Tiantian was left speechless, about to explain further when Doctor Huang spoke with a smile.
"No worries, Tian Tian. This lad’s wound is healing well; just make sure it doesn’t get wet."
"Oh, I brought so herbal dicine. Applying it will help the wound heal faster."
Just as Doctor Huang prepared to apply the herbal dicine to Bai Chenyao, Bai Chenyao dodged quickly, leaving the three onlookers stunned.
After evading Doctor Huang, Bai Chenyao acted as if nothing had happened, his gaze landing directly on Gu Tiantian.
With a furrowed brow, his voice carried a hint of dissatisfaction.
"Tian Tian!"
Gu Tiantian massaged her forehead with her hand, gently explaining.
"A Yao, Doctor Huang is just applying dicine; he won’t hurt you."
No matter what Gu Tiantian said, Bai Chenyao refused to let Doctor Huang co near.
Li Das tried to help, but Bai Chenyao dodged him as well.
In the end, having no choice, Doctor Huang had to teach Gu Tiantian how to apply the dicine to Bai Chenyao and then wrap it with bandages.
After learning, Gu Tiantian didn’t imdiately apply the dicine to Bai Chenyao; she waited for him to wash before doing so.
Fortunately, Aunt Wang had already boiled hot water, and Li Das moved the large tub over as a bathing tub, setting it in the northwest room.
Once everything was ready, Gu Tiantian reminded Bai Chenyao several tis to be careful not to let the wounds touch water. Bai Chenyao nodded repeatedly before she turned and left the room.
But before she could close the door, she saw Bai Chenyao brazenly stepping into the tub, splashing water everywhere.
Gu Tiantian’s face darkened, and she quickly turned around and ran inside.
"Bai Chenyao!"
Bai Chenyao, with one foot in the tub, was montarily stunned. His long eyelashes fluttered, and then he quietly looked up at the suddenly running-in Gu Tiantian.
"Tian Tian."
Gu Tiantian suddenly realized she’d made a foolish decision. How could she expect Bai Chenyao, who couldn’t even wash his own face properly, to clean himself? Even if she was reluctant to get close to Bai Chenyao, given the situation...
Gu Tiantian took a deep breath and glanced at Bai Chenyao.
"Stand still, don’t move. I’m going to close the door, and then I’ll co help you."
Without waiting for Bai Chenyao to reply, Gu Tiantian quickly headed for the door.
After closing the door, she turned back to see Bai Chenyao still in the sa stance and let out a long sigh.
Giving him a playful glare, Gu Tiantian quickly closed the door and returned to Bai Chenyao’s side, awkwardly starting to take off his pants.
Although the two had been intimate before, Gu Tiantian still felt awkward, but this was clearly not the ti to be coy. Blushing, she quickly stripped Bai Chenyao and carefully let him into the tub.
Since Bai Chenyao had wounds below his left shoulder and at his waist, and since the shoulder wound wasn’t a concern but the waist wound couldn’t touch water, he naturally couldn’t sit and had to stand.
