Gu Tiantian took the ingredients from the fridge again and started washing them.
She initially thought about asking Bai Chenyao to help wash the vegetables, to prevent him from fooling around and turning the kitchen into a chaotic ss.
But now...
Looking down, even squatting on the floor, Bai Chenyao exuded an inescapable nobility that was everywhere. Gu Tiantian looked up and glanced at the kitchen ceiling.
So people are just born with everything, clearly here to annoy others!
She thought about how every ti she washed clothes, with her sleeves rolled up, she looked like an auntie. Then she looked at Bai Chenyao rolling up his sleeves, and there was not a trace of an uncle image. Chopped the at again, turning it into minced at, washed so water spinach leaves to make a soup. Then she washed a large potato, ensuring it could fill a plate, and started peeling and shredding it.
The ti was getting late, and she felt sowhat tired, so Gu Tiantian decided to just make these two dishes and a soup. Just for her and Bai Chenyao, more than enough.
Ti ticked by as Gu Tiantian busied herself with the tasks at hand. Once everything was prepared, she first stir-fried the vinegar potato shreds.
When the potato shreds were plated, and she went to stir-fry the tomato eggs, she noticed Bai Chenyao squatting on the floor, seemingly pouring out water.
She only casually glanced at it because it’s normal to pour out water to replace it after washing clothes. Gu Tiantian didn’t pay much attention to it.
She even added a comnt.
"A Yao, rember to rinse the clothes after washing. Rinse, you know? Either go to the bathroom to get a basin of water or use the faucet here."
As the eggs went into the pan, Gu Tiantian was chatting with Bai Chenyao while cooking.
Hearing Bai Chenyao respond with a hum, Gu Tiantian, while stir-frying the tomato eggs, couldn’t help but smile. Feeling it was almost done, she added so salt.
Feeling sothing damp on her feet, she thought it might be because she didn’t clean the kitchen properly earlier or had bumped into the water basin nearby.
Still not paying much attention, she plated the tomato eggs and moved on to making the soup.
Just finishing the minced at, the aroma was so enticing that Gu Tiantian’s appetite was piqued, almost unable to resist a taste.
Once the minced at was almost golden brown, Gu Tiantian added seasonings, then began pouring the pre-prepared water into the pot, watching it instantly calm the sizzling oil. She smiled slightly.
Picking up the water spinach leaves beside her, noticing there was still so ti before the water boiled, she took a mont to look at Bai Chenyao squatting and washing clothes on the floor.
And what did she see?
The kitchen was flooded with water, even beyond; the water had spread to the living room and continued to spread.
Gu Tiantian’s pupils widened in shock, instinctively looking towards Bai Chenyao.
She saw Bai Chenyao holding onto that piece of clothing, constantly dabbing it with water. His handso eyebrows furrowed in displeasure, clearly dissatisfied with the slow speed of water absorption using the clothes.
