In the airport VIP lounge, Bai Chenyao sat on a crimson sofa, wearing a black bespoke suit. Even though he was seated, his tall and slender figure and unparalleled noble deanor were unmistakable.
His facial features remained handso and cold, with eyes dark and deep, like an unfathomable, bottomless pool, exuding subtle, almost imperceptible danger.
His posture was slightly lazy, half-leaning on the sofa, with one leg slightly bent and the other crossed over it. He held a dark blue folder, browsing through the docunts inside.
As he read, his long eyelashes drooped slightly, like a butterfly resting by the edge of a deep pool, light and natural, yet carrying a hint of darkness, much like the elusive feeling he gave to others.
When Tian Tian entered, she was slightly stunned to see Bai Chenyao like this.
But she quickly regained her usual calm and poise, offering a slight smile with a voice that was gentle yet slightly distant.
"Sir, hello, I heard you were looking for ?"
After Tian Tian spoke, Bai Chenyao didn’t respond, nor did he lift his gaze from the file to look at her.
For a mont, the VIP lounge was enveloped in silence.
Tian Tian waited for a while, tilted her head, and looked at Bai Chenyao, furrowing her brows. She smiled again, her voice still gentle and distant.
"Sir, hello, my na is Mu Tiantian, I heard you were looking for ?"
Bai Chenyao continued to browse through the docunts in his hands, without looking up, and spoke coldly.
"I do not like being disturbed while working!"

Tian Tian’s eyes flickered, suppressing the dissatisfaction in her heart, and continued to look at Bai Chenyao, who was still focused on his files, with a smile.
"Is that so? I’m sorry, in that case, I won’t disturb you any further, I’ll take my leave!"
After Tian Tian spoke, she gracefully turned around and walked slowly towards the door.
The sound of high heels echoed in the VIP lounge, the clicking particularly sharp.
Instinctively, Tian Tian softened her steps, in case the cold and indifferent man might find fault again.
Before she reached the door, she heard a clicking sound, and suddenly, Tian Tian’s heart skipped a beat.
She instinctively quickened her steps to the door, reaching out to pull it, only to find it wouldn’t open.
Almost instantly, Tian Tian’s hands and feet stiffened, her blood seed to surge uncontrollably, provoked by the silence in the room.
"Sir, what is the aning of this?"
Trying hard to control her emotions, Tian Tian ensured her voice remained gentle, though the slight tremor betrayed the unease in her heart.
She didn’t turn back, waiting for him to speak.
After waiting for about a minute, the VIP lounge remained silent, and with the door locked, the atmosphere grew sowhat eerie.
Tian Tian pursed her lips, silently cheering herself up.
After a while, she steeled her resolve, looked at the locked door, furrowed her brow, took a deep breath, and forced a gentle smile, turning to face Bai Chenyao with her back to the door.
Seeing Bai Chenyao still showed no intention of speaking, Tian Tian scanned the surroundings, thought for a mont, and then sat down on the sofa opposite him.
Even though the VIP lounge was heated, she did not take off her down jacket or mask, remaining as she was when she ca in.
As ti passed, the VIP lounge was so quiet they could almost hear each other’s breathing, aside from the rustling of papers as Bai Chenyao continued reading his docunts.
