Bai Chenyao slightly raised an eyebrow, his dark, deep eyes focused intently on Mu Tiantian, a cold frost rising within them.
The gaze he cast upon Mu Tiantian was fierce and chilling, carrying a final warning.
"Tian Tian, I’m giving you one more chance!"
Before Gu Tiantian could speak, Bai Chenyao lifted his chin, a cruel, sinister smile added to his handso, icy face, openly displaying the plunder and coldness in his eyes.
Mu Tiantian was startled by Bai Chenyao’s cold, savage smile and instinctively fished her phone out of her bag, starting to make a call.
When she saw that the phone showed it couldn’t connect, she was completely bewildered.
Upon closer examination, she realized the phone had no signal.
How could there be no signal?
She wasn’t in the deep mountains, nor in the sparsely populated Gobi Desert.
The airport!
How could there be no phone signal at the airport?
Suddenly, Mu Tiantian jerked her head up to stare at Bai Chenyao, her big, dark eyes about to ignite with fire.
"Did you have soone jam the signal?"
Looking at Bai Chenyao, who didn’t speak but rely regarded her with that chilling gaze, Mu Tiantian’s defenses were slowly crumbling.
No!
She absolutely couldn’t collapse!
Two years!
A full two years!
She had spent a whole two years on psychological reconstruction, enriching herself, trying to erase from her heart the person who had once ssed up her life, and she must not make the sa mistake again.
No matter what, she had to pretend not to know Bai Chenyao, had to act as if she had amnesia!
Even after two years, at the mont she saw Li Mu, her heart quivered.

But if she actually did that, what would be the aning of everything she had done and all the efforts she made in the past two years?
Wasn’t the accident of falling off the balcony two years ago and her calculated escape from Bai Chenyao’s side turned into a joke?
"It seems you’ve already made your choice!"
Bai Chenyao suddenly stood up, and Mu Tiantian instinctively took a small step back, her back almost pressing against the door, standing so near it to begin with.
"Sir, I truly don’t know what you’re talking about!"
With that, Mu Tiantian quickly sidestepped, avoiding Bai Chenyao who was striding towards her.
But Bai Chenyao was faster than her, in the blink of an eye he was right in front of her, his long arm reaching out, and just as Mu Tiantian was about to be pulled into his embrace, she bent her body, her petite figure quickly eluding Bai Chenyao’s grasp, and simultaneously escaped from the dead angle, swiftly moving over to the sofa.
Surprised at his sudden miss, a look of disbelief flashed through Bai Chenyao’s eyes, but was quickly replaced by darkness and depth.
"Seems these two years you’ve always been thinking of how to guard against !"
He chuckled lowly, the smile deep yet cold.
"So, you have never forgotten !"
A chill ran down her spine, Mu Tiantian acted as if she didn’t understand anything, anger blazing in her eyes, furious at Bai Chenyao’s arrogance and presumptuousness.
Two years apart, and he remained oblivious to everything around him.
And that period of apparent tenderness seed like nothing but a dream!
"Sir, I’ll say it again, please respect yourself!"
Watching Mu Tiantian who was warily on guard as she stared at him, Bai Chenyao stood in place, smiled faintly, the smile not reaching his eyes, sending a shiver down one’s spine.
A bad premonition filled Mu Tiantian’s heart, mories flashed in her mind of two years ago when she was treated violently by Bai Chenyao in various ways, her entire being seed to have sothing ignite in her blood, surging backwards, rushing straight to her brain.
There’s nothing to fear!
Bai Chenyao was right, these past two years her greatest enemy was the Bai Chenyao in her mind.
Every ti she woke from a nightmare, it was because of Bai Chenyao, because of his black, deep, emotionless eyes and his sudden ferocity.
And that rare tenderness.
But he had a fiancée, what did clinging to her count for?
