After lunch, Mu Haiyang and Mu Tiantian went upstairs to rest, using jet lag as an excuse.
The siblings’ rooms were right next to each other on the third floor. The rooms were very well lit and spacious, each with its own bathroom. The decor was very exquisite, showing that great care had been taken.
After seeing Mu Tiantian to her room, Mu Haiyang leaned against the doorway watching her.
"Tiantian, don’t be afraid, your brother is here to take care of everything."
Mu Tiantian’s eyes grew warm. Many tis before, she had been all by herself. Although her grandmother was around, there were many things she didn’t dare let her know, fearing that grandmother would worry if she found out.

Her mom was gone, yet she was given a brother, soone she had known before. Mu Tiantian felt as though fate hadn’t been unkind to her after all.
Mu Haiyang nodded, a flash of ruthlessness flickering in his eyes, but his gaze softened instantly when looking at Mu Tiantian.
"Don’t worry about Old Madam Mu and the madam. If they dare to ss with you, just fight back. Don’t forget that grandpa is still the one in charge."
Mu Tiantian smiled lightly and stood in front of the dressing table, looking at Mu Haiyang through the mirror from the doorway.
"Brother, you know what kind of person I am. I know how to handle these things myself, so you don’t need to worry so much. Thinking too much can make you age faster."
At this, Mu Tiantian suddenly turned around to look at Mu Haiyang, her big dark eyes filled with laughter.
"Well...speaking of which, you should find a good sister-in-law. When she cos, we’ll have another good ally!"
Mu Haiyang was taken aback; he hadn’t expected his sister to bring this up suddenly.
Thinking of the previous conversations with his sister, and the tis when he was ssing around, often it was his sister who had to clean up his ss, getting him ho while he was drunk. Mu Haiyang’s cheeks flushed, he quickly changed the topic.
"You, just think about your own matters more, like Bai Chenyao. Let’s see if you can still be so at ease!"
Mu Tiantian pouted and rolled her eyes.
Mu Haiyang watched her with a mix of heartache and an urge to advise her.
"Actually, Tiantian, Bai Chenyao isn’t"
"Oh, alright, alright, brother, how many tis have you said this over the past two years? Also, two years ago, you tried to diate for him too!"
Narrowing her eyes slightly, Mu Tiantian walked quickly up to Mu Haiyang, speaking in a fast pace.
"Brother, to be honest, are you"
Just at this mont, Mu Haiyang’s phone rang.
Mu Tiantian frowned and pouted, leaving Mu Haiyang to answer the call.
"Alright, Tiantian, take a good rest. I’ll answer the call and then head to my room to sleep, too."
Once Mu Haiyang was gone, Mu Tiantian stood by the door for a while before finally closing it. She went to the bed and then flopped down on it with a soft plop.
Her nose instantly caught a whiff of the sun’s scent. Mu Tiantian couldn’t resist rolling over, slipping off her shoes, and crawling fully onto the bed, lying on the soft mattress.
The quilt must have been sun-dried before; it slled particularly fresh and warm.
And yet, it’s winter now, it was still sun-dried...
Their grandfather’s care for them was evident.
It’s just that other mbers of the family were clearly displeased with the siblings’ return.
Thinking of Mu Haiyun, who hadn’t spoken much, Mu Tiantian frowned.
Originally the female heir, but now grandpa clearly ant for her brother to start taking over the company. Who knows what Mu Haiyun is thinking now.
