Ever since Bai Lanlan returned to the Bai Family yesterday, Bai Xijing called her into the study. It wasn’t until this morning that she appeared in front of everyone.

At the words "sneaks around," Bai Chenhua imdiately frowned.
"Second brother, watch your language! Chen Yao and Lanlan are not married!"
The man who spoke earlier was Bai Xijing’s second son, nad Bai Chenchi. Known for his laid-back attitude since childhood, he’s had a reputation as a playboy for many years. Even though he’s married with children, rumors frequently circulate about him.
As for Bai Xijing’s third son, Bai Chenfeng, he’s not in Shengjing, having been on business trips frequently, though he’s expected back soon as the year-end approaches.
The won in the hall, besides Bai Lanlan and Nanny Li, included Su Yue, whom Bai Xijing married after his first wife’s death. She is twenty years younger than Bai Xijing.
Now at sixty, she maintained herself so well she looked just over forty.
With an oval face, almond eyes, and ticulously grood hair, her makeup was exquisite, her deanor elegant and natural. Her expression was gentle and serene when she looked at everyone.
Bai Xijing’s original wife died early, leaving him with two daughters, both of whom are now married and no longer living with the Bai Family.
After Su Yue married into the Bai Family, she proved her worth by giving birth to three sons for Bai Xijing in quick succession, solidifying her position.
However, Bai Xijing’s youngest son, Bai Chenyao, had a different mother. In the Bai Family, Bai Chenyao’s birth mother is a taboo subject no one dares ntion.

Bai Chenchi’s wife was nad Shuxin, the youngest daughter of the Shu Family known for its dical background. Being the only daughter, she was spoiled from a young age, leading to a sowhat arrogant and domineering personality.
However, after joining the Bai Family, her temper improved visibly, though only on the surface.
Given Bai Chenchi’s consistent philandering nature, maintaining appearances at ho while having flings outside, it was common for the couple to quarrel every few days.
