"He’s unscathed from all that damage?! This doesn’t make any sense! Not even that shield made out of Tiamat’s scale could hold against my attacks for that long!"

Deus was stunned by Drake’s level of defense. He quickly realized something within Drake was surging—the golden glow of the Light of Providence blessing his existence, enhancing and powering his abilities even further.

"That’s Fortune’s power! So he died?! This... It can’t be! How could that idiot die?! I hadn’t even used him for all he was worth! He was such an expensive investment, one that would’ve paid off really well, and he killed him?!"

Deus’ eyes released lightning bolts as Mjolnir infused its power into his entire body and soul. A silhouette of a giant muscular man with long blonde hair emerged, made pletely out of golden and purple thunderbolts, holding a massive hammer.

"{Mjolnir Spiritualization}: {God of War and Thunder: Thor}!"

RUMBLE!

Deus’ Dominion suddenly changed appearance, turning into dark, thunderous clouds swirling around his body. He was now absorbing the hammer’s power in its totality, being its vessel.

"Admire the power of the Ancient Gods, dragon!"

Deus rushed forward, appearing in front of Drake within a second. He swung his hammer down, striking Drake’s head with immense force. Drake staggered for a moment before regaining his balance, his Aura surging. Dozens of blades reached for Deus, but the Venerable swiftly evaded, turning into lightning and appearing behind the Dragon King, striking the back of his head several times.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

"Nnnggh! That hurts!"

Drake wasn’t thrown away or exploded into pieces as Deus expected. Though it hurt, Drake showcased an incredible level of resiliency, surviving the painful onslaught.

He swiftly responded, slashing at Deus with a horizontal attack using Muramasa, activating Celestia’s techniques to overwhelm him with the power of Celestial Light—the same element the Venerable seemed to wield.

"{Divine Celestial Venerable Swordsmanship}: [Celestial Horizon Cleave]!"

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

Each horizontal cleave cut through Deus’ thunder and disrupted his momentum. Each slashing wave of bright light generated consecutive explosions, preventing him from reaching Drake easily.

"HAAAH!"

But Deus didn’t give up. The power of Thor coursed through his body and soul, as a titanic thunderbolt hammer appeared from above, striking Drake repeatedly.

Drake used his Psychic Powers bined with Divine Barriers to resist the blows, but they shattered like glass, forcing him to rely on offense as the best defense once more.

"{Divine Celestial Venerable Swordsmanship}: [Heaven-Splitting Slash]!"

A single slash was unleashed from Drake’s katana just as Deus’ thunderbolt hammer rushed down. The clash between the two generated a massive explosion.

But that wasn’t the only one. Several more erupted as Deus matched Drake’s attacks, their strikes constantly canceling each other out. Explosions rippled across the skies every second.

"{Divine Celestial Venerable Swordsmanship}: [Divine Justice Blade Spirit Summon]!"

Drake didn’t stop there. His Aura rapidly turned into hundreds of long divine blade spirits, rushing toward Deus and attacking from every angle. Thor’s thunderbolts protected him, killing the spirits that got close, but it wasn’t an indestructible defense. The spirits channeled Drake’s techniques, attacking with their own [Celestial Horizon Cleaves] and even [Heaven-Splitting Slashes], overwhelming Deus from every direction.

"W-Wha...?!"

"T-This is ridiculous! How can he control all these spirits and even use techniques through them?!"

"GAAAAHHHH!"

The old Venerable screamed in agony. The explosions accumulated so much over his incredibly tough body that wounds began to appear, and he started bleeding.

"I’ve had enough of you!!!"

Deus reached Drake, striking his face, head, stomach, chest, and limbs with his hammer at lightning speed, while also targeting his soul and weakening it as much as possible.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

"Guuuggh?!"

Drake vomited blood as he felt his soul gaining cracks. Fortune’s strength was indeed not parable to his master’s. Deus was a truly ancient Venerable.

The power to channel the Primordial Divinity of Ancient Gods made him a powerhouse among powerhouses—a formidable opponent.

However...

"Heh..."

Drake smiled as blood poured from his mouth and wounds. Deus’ eyes widened, watching all the damage he had inflicted regenerate rapidly. Drake returned to perfect health.

Even his soul’s wounds recovered at an insane rate, the power of the Immortal Body spreading through his Soul as well.

"Yeah, I admit you’re really freaking strong. Stronger than I am, actually," Drake said. "But I can even out the field like this! Because what’s the point of fighting weaker foes when I can regenerate so quickly? Only stronger foes than myself will ever give me the boost in growth I need!"

He rushed forward, disappearing and then reappearing above Deus, kicking the back of his head and sending the old man crashing into the glass-like floor of the Dominion.

Drake followed, resembling a falling et of rainbow flames. His Dragon King form surged, the power of Creation manifesting alongside his Ascendancy Law Rings.

"Is that what you think, dragon?! You’re too foolish!"

Deus laughed as his power surged even further, channeling Gungnir’s powers. His body became thrice as tall and muscular, while yet another silhouette emerged behind him, right beside Thor.

This silhouette resembled an ancient, intimidating king wearing a golden helmet and a golden cape. He held a long, glowing spear. Another distinct feature was his long golden beard—and the eyepatch covering one eye.

"{Gungnir Spiritualization}: {King of Gods: Odin}!"

FLAAASH!

Drake felt an immense heatwave rush towards him, stopping his charge attack, while also beginning to overwhelm him, his entire body was being cooked alive despite how resistant to such elements he is now.

"{Radiant Sun’s Celestial Radiance}!"

Deus released yet another heatwave, it was ing from his own body, powered up by both Divine Artifact Spiritualization’s, his magic power had skyrocketed, allowing him to cook Drake alive.
