CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
Despite the immense power of Hajun’s attacks, Drake moved swiftly, manifesting giant shields made of glowing metallic scales of gold and rainbow colors. They protected him from explosive damage that should have been capable of shattering most matter, as it could even destroy space itself.
"Hmm?!"
Hajun’s many eyes widened as he saw Drake’s "shields." They were not physical objects, but something summoned on the spot, and yet they were simultaneously Venerable Equipment, Soul Gear, his own Scales, an Ascendancy Law Divine Ability, and Magic all bined into one.
Indeed.
This was the new Drake.
"Alright, done."
Hajun saw Drake’s glowing eyes moving rapidly within the span of two seconds, which made him furious and confused. He was angry because Drake ignored him and confused because he felt like he was being toyed with.
"DONE WITH WHAT?! FACE ME, COWARD!"
Hajun’s Aura exploded into flames, transforming into thousands of Oni rushing toward Drake, attacking from every angle with blazing weapons and sharp claws.
"HMPH!"
Drake let out a strong grunt as his Aura erupted. Sharp swords manifested, resembling katanas forged from rainbow steel, slicing and cleaving through all of his foes at once.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
"I guess you’re not weak. I am pleased. You will be the perfect punching bag to test my abilities!"
"Honestly, I have to say the same thing."
Drake remained still, not even in his Dragon Form yet, still a Dragonoid. His Aura erupted, forming two figures resembling him, born from dozens of spiritual elemental dragon beings bining together.
They were exact copies of him, sharing the same soul and turning into flesh and blood. These were Drake’s evolved Doppelgangers.
"{Primordial Dragon King’s Divine Split Souls}"
Copying Oberon’s technique, Drake split pieces of his own soul to create immensely powerful Doppelgangers. He could even customize their appearance and decide how much power was shared between his main body and them.
"What?!"
Hajun was stunned, thinking Drake would fight him with three bodies at once. But the two Split Souls didn’t even glance at him, flying in different directions at lightning speed.
"Oh, don’t worry about them. Just laying the groundwork so things will go smoothly. I cannot afford any mistakes right now."
"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, DRAGON KING!"
Hajun rushed toward Drake, tearing through space as his blazing body burned time itself, slowing it down, then accelerating it, twisting Drake’s perception of reality. Hajun’s flames had evolved to the point of warping space. In an instant, the demon appeared behind Drake, his swords rushing toward his back with all his strength.
"{Karmic Purgatory Arts}: {Ten Thousand Agonizing Soul Slashes}!"
Ten thousand attacks were unleashed within a split second. Drake saw them tearing through space, revealing countless holes across the dimension. The attacks created ripples that shortened the distance between them, skipping space and time.
The speed of the assault was almost instant.
And yet...
"{Primordial Dragon King’s Heavenly Scale Shield}"
Dozens of scale shields, equal to or stronger than Tiamat’s, appeared around Drake’s back, shielding him from all ining attacks. Each blow forced Hajun to step back in awe.
"That technique again! It won’t work as easily now!"
But Hajun had prepared. He spun in midair like a drill, clashing against Drake’s shields, piercing a single point, and shattering through them to reach Drake.
"{Primordial Dragon King’s Heavenly Armament: God-Slaying Blade: Muramasa}"
FLASH!
A long katana manifested out of thin air. Hajun noticed dozens of spiritual souls and soul weapons merging into its creation. Drake swung the blade upward, releasing a wave of colorful light that erupted into a pillar, striking Hajun’s chest and making him vomit blood as he was sent flying away.
CLAAASH!
"GAAAH?!"
Hajun’s face twisted in rage as he rushed back, burning through space and time, teleporting in front of Drake. His blazing weapons fused into a giant impaling spear.
"{Karmic Purgatory Arts}: {Soul-Punishing Impaling Spear}!"
Each attack pierced through space, reaching Drake’s skin only to be deflected by spiritual shields that materialized into divine steel, protecting every targeted area. The demon grew furious, swinging his legs to kick Drake from the side, only for Drake to block with his bare hand, grabbing Hajun and lifting him up, shocking him.
"Is that all?!"
Drake spun Hajun in midair, humiliating him before slamming him down like a meteor. A gigantic atomic-level explosion erupted as the demon fell, half of the Endless Castle disappearing, flames engulfing everything in his wake.
BOOOMMM!!!
"Of course it’s not all! I wanted to start small, to see what I could do, but it’s clear I won’t get anywhere with this level..."
Hajun smiled viciously as the twisted black tattoos across his body glowed red. His skin darkened into charcoal black, his long silver hair turned purple, and his horns sharpened into spear-like points.
"{Twelve Accursed Karmic Seal Release}: {First and Second Seals: Abyssal Demon King Form}"
TRUUUM!
His power rose considerably, making everything tremble. The cursed dimension was constantly being damaged and repairing itself, but it was reaching a tipping point as Hajun’s presence threatened to destroy it.
RUMBLE!
Drake felt the tremors as Hajun appeared and disappeared, turning into black miasma and re-emerging through cracks in space from every direction. Giant sharp swords wielded by dozens of hands emerged from the miasma, attacking without end.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
Drake swiftly responded, kicking the weapons aimed at his leg, punching those in front, and using shields to protect his back and head. At the same time, he swung Muramasa upward and downward, creating hundreds of slashing attacks with simple movements.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
The miasma was cut apart and disintegrated into black ashes, but Hajun re-emerged behind him. Abyssal karmic energy spread everywhere, forming a black hole that pulled Drake toward its center.
From the black hole, Hajun’s smiling faces appeared—some enormous, others small—all laughing. Hajun had bee something else. Drake realized the demon was merging with space and time itself.
He wasn’t just using a Dominion. He had bee a Dominion and merged it with reality, a terrifying technique that could make him a reality manipulator with enough power and practice.
Drake knew he had to take him down, or this monster could threaten not just Yggdrasil but the entire universe.
"Muramasa is strong, but I can always use more help."
Drake smiled, raising his left hand while wielding Muramasa in his right. Another sword manifested, born from the fusion of dozens of spirits and soul weapons emerging from his Aura.
"{Primordial Dragon King’s Heavenly Armament: Evil-Slaying Heavy Blade: Celestia}"
FLAAASH!
A heavy blade of white silver manifested. Drake summoned Celestia against all odds, her shining light piercing Hajun’s abyssal body, burning him and disintegrating the black hole with her mere presence.
"I can now summon both Muramasa and Celestia individually... Let’s see what their bined power can truly do, Hajun!"
