Now reading: Chapter 329 - 313: Graveyard Tree Wants to Harm Me? Kill The from Era of Magic and Martial Arts, a Eastern novel by Old tree by the grave.

Qian Huan’s forehead veins bulged like writhing worms, sinister; the dire situation escalated ten tis faster than he had anticipated.

If in the morning he was still rely standing on the cliff’s edge, then now, this post crazily reposted by ignorant citizens was like a black hand, pushing him ruthlessly from behind, plunging him deep into the abyss, with half his body already hanging precariously over the edge.

"[Graveyard Tree] is trying to kill , I’ve rembered this na, Feng Mu, I want him dead, he has to die ahhhhh——"

Through three layers of explosion-proof glass walls, Feng Mu could still sense the murderous intent inside, as if wanting to dig soone’s grave and plant a tree.

Qian Huan’s hands clenched tightly into fists, his nails deeply embedded in his palms, yet he seed unable to feel the pain.

His eyes were almost spitting fire, staring intently at the ever-rising click and repost counts; with each leap in numbers, it was like a bloody scissor cutting his heart to pieces from various angles.

Qian Huan prided himself on being a rational person, but in the face of overwhelming insults, attacks, and criticisms under the post, his emotions started to waver involuntarily.

He never knew human language could be so rich and so..... filthy!!!

In short, Warden Qian Huan was undergoing his first online harassnt on the road to growth.

Feng Mu quietly observed Qian Huan’s nearly twisted expression, knowing that the warden’s emotions were on the brink of an explosion. If he didn’t cool him down, he feared the latter might erupt on the spot or distort.

"I’ve noted down the warden’s orders, I assure you, this [Graveyard Tree] slandering you will et a very bad end."

Feng Mu vowed earnestly:

"But not today, nor tomorrow; we don’t have ti to seek out a hidden hand behind the internet now. Our imdiate priority is to first resolve hidden dangers inside the prison, warden, you must not lose your cool now."

Qian Huan’s fists angrily swung down, and the computer screen shattered in an instant. He whipped his head around, fixing his gaze on Feng Mu.

His teeth grinding audibly, fury made his voice hoarse and rough:

"Feng Mu, you’re right, we can’t lose our cool now, so for now, let this [Graveyard Tree] have a few more days to breathe..."

Qian Huan then sat heavily back in his chair, his hands slightly trembling, slowly reaching for the glass bottle on the table.

In the clear liquid of the glass bottle, a blood-colored eyeball was slowly turning, its gaze seemingly frozen in an eternal mont of horror and despair.

Qian Huan gently rotated the glass bottle, his eerie tone like a ghostly hand reaching into a bed from under the bed, sending chills down the spine:

"This prison riot unexpectedly sparked my interest in collecting. Unfortunately, for now, I have only one eyeball in my collection, I hope soon I can add a tongue."

Feng Mu’s glance lightly swept over the glass bottle, understandingly said:

"Congratulations to the warden on acquiring such a unique collection; I shall, in the future, present [Graveyard Tree]’s tongue as tribute to the warden."

Qian Huan continued fiddling with the glass bottle, Feng Mu’s unwavering loyalty serving as a soothing balm, gradually calming his heart.

He took a deep breath, then slowly exhaled a long-stagnated breath, his tone turning ruthless: "Regarding the riot, have you found any clues?"

Feng Mu nodded slightly, then in a calm and firm tone, slowly reported what they had uncovered:

"Firstly, through surveillance footage investigation, we identified a prison guard with significant suspicion. His behavior was abnormal, and various signs indicated that he assisted the death row inmate’s escape."

"Unfortunately, when we promptly went to his residence for further investigation, we found he had been killed, burned to a crisp."

"Fortunately, after so effort, we saw through the perpetrator’s disguise, but the assailant seed to be a dead soldier, not uttering a word even in death. Luckily, we found another clue in his phone."

Feng Mu retrieved a phone from his pocket, cautiously passed it through the narrow gap in the explosion-proof glass wall, continuing:

"All data in the phone had been erased, but Gong Qi and Liu Yi, through technical ans, successfully restored a phone number, showing as the last one dialed before the killer died.

That’s who he reported to imdiately after silencing."

Liu Yi was montarily stunned, casting a covert glance at Gong Qi, as if saying: "I don’t rember us ever restoring such phone data."

Gong Qi pursed his lips, his gaze intriguing, as if responding: "This works!"

Feng Mu’s reporting style was completely different from Ma Bin’s; the latter tended to skip over the middle process and present the result directly, whereas Feng Mu ticulously reported every detail to Qian Huan.

No choice, Ma Bin was all loyalty, no selfish intentions, while Feng Mu had no loyalty, all selfish intent, but, Qian Huan enjoyed this preference.

As a leader lacking a sense of security with a strong desire for control, the more he was in a crisis, the more he wanted to control every detail.

Feng Mu’s reporting style very much catered to Qian Huan’s emotional needs, making the latter’s gaze increasingly trusting towards him.

Qian Huan took the phone, opened the call log, indeed seeing a number, unmarked, just a string of digits.

His pupils contracted, as eerie as icicles in winter: "Whose number is this?"

Feng Mu slowly spoke out a na: "Lou Rui."

Qian Huan’s eyebrows slightly furrowed, a trace of doubt in his tone: "Who?"

Feng Mu understood, as the warden, Qian Huan was busy with nurous daily affairs, it was understandable not to rember the na of a regular prison guard.

He calmly explained: "A prison guard on the first floor of the Light Supervision Area."

Hearing Feng Mu’s explanation, Qian Huan’s mind finally had a trace of impression. He opened a drawer, taking out a thick stack of reports, his fingers quickly flipping through them.

After a long search, he finally found a seemingly insignificant report at the bottom, directly looking at the last few lines of the report’s conclusion.

Lou Rui’s bone assessnt report:

Bone status LR is in an unstable bull-type bone structure, low mutation probability, presud to have practiced Martial Arts 5 types, New Martial 100% share, Martial Arts grade lower rank.

Reverse deduction score: 9 points

Life level inferior.

Martial Arts grade: Grade 2

Danger level: Class E

He had previously spent a fortune to have Shi Wuming conduct "Visual Inspection" for every prison guard inside, and now it was being used, but it seed to be of little use.

Because, Lou Rui’s score was too low, as low as his position, ordinary and of no value.

Outside the glass wall, Feng Mu was astonished by the warden’s actions, his pupils slightly contracting, as if he had glimpsed so intriguing secret...
