Now reading: Chapter 333 - 317: You Don’t Think I’m Taking Revenge, Do Yo from Era of Magic and Martial Arts, a Eastern novel by Old tree by the grave.

In search of understanding, Lou Rui had no choice but to turn his gaze towards the two who ca with Guan Chong. He cautiously pointed to his own head and, with so caution and confusion, asked:

"Guan Chong, has he been through so kind of shock recently, or has he got a big brain disease?"

The two who ca with Lou Rui, Song Ping’an and Jiang Li, exchanged glances. They looked at the laughing Guan Chong with unusually complex expressions, their faces inadvertently revealing an uncontrollable understanding and... envy?!!

Lou Rui watched the strange expressions on their faces, the ferocity in his eyes slowly giving way to confusion, and for a mont, he felt a chill to his bones.

Lou Rui enjoyed bullying people, but he liked to bully normal people. He did not want to bully those with brain illnesses, especially when it seed there were three of them!

Lou Rui turned around to leave, not even wanting the handcart anymore.

However, at that mont, Song Ping’an and Jiang Li, who had previously made no move, suddenly stepped in front of Lou Rui.

They hadn’t stopped Lou Rui earlier because Guan Chong hadn’t given any signal, interpreting it as Guan Chong wanting to reminisce with old friends, and they were reluctant to disturb him.

Now it seed Guan Chong was enjoying himself, but Lou Rui was not appreciative, sowhat oblivious to the kindness.

Wang Ping’an gently rotated his neck, smoothly withdrawing an electric baton with his right hand, the air crackling with electric arcs.

Lou Rui was not afraid; he had so confidence in his own strength. Then, he saw Jiang Li slowly tug out a gun from his chest, the dark muzzle unhesitatingly aid at his brow.

Yes, to ensure Guan Chong could enjoy perfect "reward" ti, Feng Mu had specifically advised them to collect weapons from the security departnt.

Naturally, all of this was carried out under the guise of the warden’s na.

Lou Rui’s pupils contracted sharply, while the passing prison guards watching the commotion also changed their expressions.

Within the Second Prison District, though colleagues weren’t prohibited from resolving issues through reasoning, the use of firearms was an entirely different nature.

At such a close range, Lou Rui wasn’t confident about dodging a bullet, yet he didn’t show much fear, instead snorting coldly:

"Pointing a gun at your own people, do you know what charges that carries?"

Bam—

The response was the crisp sound of a gunshot!

Lou Rui’s eyes bulged wide as he touched his brow in horror, but he didn’t find the warmth of anticipated blood.

He was montarily stunned, then, as if realizing sothing, rigidly lowered his head, seeing the hole in his knee, with blood gushing out and soaking his pants.

At this mont, the delayed nerve endings finally delivered a sharp pain, Lou Rui’s knee buckled, he tilted forward and fell heavily to the ground.

He lay sideways on the cold ground, hugging his injured knee tightly, his cheek pressed against the blood-stained floor. The chilling, slippery feeling distorted his face, grotesque in its contortion as he stared fixedly at the approaching silhouette.

Guan Chong walked leisurely up to Lou Rui, looking down at him. For the first ti in his life, he viewed Lou Rui from this angle, feeling a sense of purification washing over his soul, smiling like an innocent child.

In Guan Chong’s mind, Feng Mu’s calm and gentle face unconsciously flashed, internally murmuring:

"Thank Destiny for hearing my prayers, allowing to finally et Feng Mu today."

For a solid three seconds, Guan Chong seed to drift into so trance, then he ca to, greedily breathing in air.

Following that, Guan Chong scanned the surroundings, seemingly interrogating Lou Rui, or perhaps explaining to the surrounding prison guards:

"So, Lou Rui, secretly participating in planning a prisoner riot, causing the deaths of over a hundred colleagues, what kind of cri is that?"

Lou Rui glared at Guan Chong, his eyes fixed unblinking on the muzzle Guan Chong toyed with, aiming at his chest, throat, and brow as though swallowing sandpaper.

He couldn’t understand what Guan Chong was saying; his mind seed to crash, only able to instinctively squeeze out a few words:

"I didn’t, you..."

Guan Chong stomped on Lou Rui’s knee, the sole grinding down harshly, causing Lou Rui to convulse as if electrocuted, letting out a heart-wrenching scream.

Unmoved, Guan Chong’s face even showed a hint of rapture, as if listening to a beautiful piece of music, he murmured:

"We’re all prison guards; such talk is aningless.

All prisoners in the Second District claim innocence, so if you wish to speak, say sothing new, unless you think..."

Guan Chong didn’t hide his villainous, evil expression, reluctantly moving his foot aside, slowly squatting down, his voice low and slow, carrying a chilling malice:

"We wouldn’t co to you without evidence, surely you don’t think I’m seeking personal revenge on you, hahaha—"

Guan Chong’s villainous deanor was too apparent, finally rousing a prison guard to step forward, coldly demanding:

"What are you doing, who allowed you to shoot, you claim he’s related to the morning’s riot, do you have evidence?"

Guan Chong was waiting for soone to ask this question. With one hand holding the gun, the other dipped into Lou Rui’s pocket, quickly pulling out a phone.

Opening it, he accessed the contacts, found the number the "killer" dialed.

At this mont, his lips curved into a "just as expected" smile, an expression of cold confidence, then he grimly demanded an explanation from Lou Rui:

"Explain why this person killed Gong Lao and imdiately called you, don’t claim ignorance!"

Guan Chong didn’t explain to the surrounding prison guards, directly questioning Lou Rui, though the information leaked in his words, not detailed, yet truly sparked imagination among the listeners.

Anyone with half a brain seed to comprehend sothing, looking at Lou Rui with darkened expressions, awaiting his explanation.

Lou Rui’s gaze fixated on the phone screen displaying the inexplicable number, feeling his mind churn into chaos.

Looking into the prison guards’ angry eyes, and then Guan Chong’s sinister gaze, his complexion reddened as if cooked shrimp, his tongue tying into knots, speaking in a stutter:

"I, I really... don’t... know!!!"

Guan Chong laughed bitterly, scoffing:

"Haha, you don’t know, haha, I see you won’t cry until you see the coffin. Very well, if you’re not willing to confess with everyone watching, then co with us for a slow discussion."
