The most horrific were his eyes—the sockets sunken, the contours constantly shifting, the eyeballs repositioning themselves as if searching for the perfect spot to settle.
The entire process was silent, save for the mutating flesh and bones moving soundlessly.
Finally, when everything stopped, the man’s face had completely transford into another visage, only the pair of Hook Jade pupils in their rotation, evil and unchanged as ever.

The man listened to the sound of two heavy objects falling outside the door, the corners of his mouth curling into a dangerous arc.
