The female doctor’s throat was dry and hoarse, her voice filled with disbelief and terror, her scalp prickling as if about to split open.

On the ground, only a few bloodstained strands of hair and a still-warm white coat remained.
The monster, wearing pajamas, watched the scene in shock, extending a claw covered in scales, pointing at Feng Yuhuai on the ground, its stinking mouth muttering indistinctly:
"Guaa—wooo—" (ps: Monster!)
Feng Yuhuai slowly rose from the ground, her red hair moving without wind, like flaming fire dancing wildly behind her, making her pale cheeks appear even more eerily beautiful.
Her lips curled slightly into a strange, bright smile, a smile like poisoned honey, sweet yet chilling even to monsters.
Her voice was gentle, with a careless mockery:
"You monsters call a monster? How amusing. Who believes that, who sees it?"
As Feng Yuhuai spoke, she scraped the bloodstains off with her shoe sole on the white coat, then with a flick of her toe, the white coat flew up, landing on the monster’s head, adding to its ridiculous pajamas.
Feng Yuhuai’s gaze fell upon the monster, her eyes carrying a cold ridicule, her voice unhurried, eerily echoing through the dark sewer:
"In human eyes... only those who look like monsters are monsters, those who look like humans... they are humans, wouldn’t you say?"
The monster’s body trembled violently, Feng Yuhuai’s words seemingly stabbing deep, with every scale quivering in a rustling sound.
Their claws desperately scratched at their cheeks, the sharp nails scraping against the scales making a harsh screech, as if trying to tear apart their hideous faces.
In the dark, a cold cara lens sneaked out...
