"You know, don't think you have to worry about everything," a girl's voice echoed.
"I don't worry. I am just… uneasy…" Rudy replied.
"That's the sa thing." After a brief pause, the girl continued with a positive tone. "Look, think about it. You are the only one who knows about the future, and you have so much ti to change it. It would have been understandable if there was nothing you could do to change the future, but that's clearly not the case. You have superpowers that let you do anything you want. You are invincible!"
"I… may be invincible… but my heart is weak. It just can't…" Rudy muttered in panic.
Suddenly, out of darkness, two hands ca and grabbed Rudy's head, pulling him into the darkness and embracing him to peace.
The black fog surrounding Rudy slowly began to disperse. The girl comforting Rudy beca clear in his vision and it was none other than the girl he loved the most— Angelica.
GASP!
Rudy suddenly opened his eyes with a loud gasp, seemingly waking up from a mory.
"What the hell was that?" he muttered to himself.
He slowly got up from the couch with a support and walked to the kitchen. He then opened the refrigerator and drank so water from the bottle.
Then he closed the door.
He stood in silence for a few seconds and opened the refrigerator again and drank another bottle.
"Angelica…" he muttered.
'I rembered a lot of things. How I t Angelica and how she helped out whenever I needed soone. How she comforted whenever I was distressed, how she… gave a suggestion to have a harem.
How she sucked off in the school's bathroom. I rember everything. But how? I thought the kiss was the trigger, but maybe I was wrong? I didn't kiss anyone, and yet I rembered Angelica.'
Rudy frantically glanced around and activated his supervision to see if there was anyone nearby. He thought he might not be able to see Angelica, and she kissed him, causing him to rember her, but that was clearly not the case.
He did not know that it was Jessica who kissed him. After all, the thought of his aunt being Angelica couldn't even cross his mind yet.
'I should go to the tunnel and see if she is there.'
Rudy teleported outside the house and flew away. The scenery was yet again unfamiliar to him in a strange way. He saw the colossal tower near his house and the massive change in the geography. Yet, sohow, the town Hel remained unchanged.
"I don't know what's going on, but I think I sohow lost my mory…no, it isn't just about the mory. Many things have changed. The apocalypse and the monsters and all. It's honestly unbelievable."
Rudy landed in front of the tunnel, which should have been long abandoned. However, for so reason, it was open and being used.
"Well… I am in a different world. That's for sure. But… at the sa ti… it doesn't feel different…" he muttered as he stood at the entrance of the tunnel.
The tunnel was made by drilling through the mountain, so it was darker at night, although the lights inside made it visually appealing and less prone to accidents.
He jumped and landed on the tallest tree on the mountain. Then, he laid down on the branch and watched the starry sky.
He spent an hour thinking about every possibility of what was happening, and the only suitable conclusion he ca to was that he wasn't in a different world, but in the sa world.
'I sohow went back in ti. The last thing I rember before waking up in the classroom was that I was dying. Although it's strange that no matter how many tis this happens, I am always dying the sa way.'
Rudy stayed there for yet another hour and scanned the area to search for Angelica or anything related to her, but he got no leads. How could he when Jessica didn't die and turn into a ghost, who would later beco Angelica?
Rudy was tired, both ntally and physically, and he wanted to sleep. He considered the thought of sleeping there, but he wasn't sure when he would wake up or 'if' he would wake up when there was danger around. So in the end, he teleported back to his room.
"Now that I think about it, I should only be able to teleport to the places I have been before, but for so reason… that day, I had teleported to the forest even though I had never been there. Sure, I had been there in my past life… or should I say… in the previous version of this world, but…"
Rudy humd in amusent as a thought crossed his mind.
"Maybe this ti… it's different. This ti, it's like playing a ga with cheat codes. I already know how to use my powers and abilities, so the only thing I have to do is to get all my mories back. I have to find a way to recover my mories as soon as possible."
As Rudy lay on his bed, he tried to solve the mystery of how he got his mories of Angelica.
'I heard the sa voice as before when I kissed Alice. I vaguely rember that not all of the mories that were of the Alice branch had loaded, even less were synchronized. But after I rembered about Angelica, the mories of Alice's branch that were non loaded and unsynchronized, also synchronized with my mories of Angelica. Because of that, I rembered the tis I had spent together with Alice and Angelica. That ans that I have to find more girls and kiss them to unlock my mories and the mories that aren't loaded will automatically load whenever that happens.'
He rolled to the side and muttered, "I know for sure that Angelica and Alice weren't the only girls I was in a relationship with. There were more and I need to find them. Starting with Angelica."
Rud had a clear goal in his mind, which he was committed to. Now, it was a matter of ti before Rudy would rise back to his glory.
