1050 Breaking (Quite a Few Tis)
"The person you are looking for isn't here," the receptionist inford Rudy.
"Did you check carefully? You might have missed sothing." "I filtered out the na you asked for. I perford two searches, one with the na 'Joe' and another with 'Viben' and neither of the searches matched."
"Strange…" Rudy played dumb. "How is that possible?"
"You are either at the wrong place or the person you are looking for might have a special connection with the landlord, which is why his na isn't on the list. I don't have administrator access to the data," the receptionist explained calmly.
"Oh? Special connections… such as? Have you ever encountered soone like that here?" "I have seen a few people coming with him and leaving with or after him, but I am not privy to the information. I doubt the person you are looking for is one of them, though."
She seed skeptical of her expression, but it wasn't as though she was thinking Rudy was lying, but because of the landlord.
"Why would you think that?"
"I can't tell you that. And if you are truly looking for soone who is involved with that person, you should reconsider eting him. Unless, of course, you know that person personally."
'No way in hell I know soone like that. But even she is saying that I shouldn't get involved with soone who knows the landlord, which ans that the landlord would definitely be a piece of shit. Looks like so things haven't changed.

Rudy felt disappointed that even after a drastic change in the world, people couldn't change themselves.
'I actually wanted to find that out. So that ans as I regain the mories, I will have to hunt down the bad guys. They won't change.'
Rudy wondered that if people couldn't change even after sothing so major, was there a point of giving them a second chance, showing them rcy, or forgiving them?
'Garbage shouldn't be reused or recycled… it needs to be burned… completely from existence.'
"Why would you say that about your employer?" Rudy asked curiously. He was genuinely curious as to why she was willing to work for him if she had doubts on him.
The girl glanced around cautiously and brought her face close to Rudy to whisper, "Let's just say I don't get myself involved in such. I don't get personal with everything and keep my work life different. That really helps in tough tis."
"I completely understand that." Rudy nodded three tis and continued. "But that doesn't an you should just let things happen. Of course, you shouldn't put yourself in danger by playing a white knight, but at least make sure that you don't get the ashes on you."
"Ashes…?" the girl raised her brow with a confused look on her face. "I don't understand."
"It's nothing. Thanks for your cooperation. And… I would like to apologize for my behavior."
" too!" She said instantly. "I don't know why I reacted like that. I guess I was just frustrated. But hey… that's no reason for to take it out on soone. So… I am sorry." She bowed down a bit as she apologized.
Rudy left the building in a good mood and made his way out of the block. Then, he soared into the sky and disappeared into the clouds.
"It feels nice to talk to people like this. I honestly enjoyed the interaction. The chick in the club was nice, too. She was super cute and energetic. And well… she was actually honest. Like when she said it was her first ti, I thought she was lying, since it's a typical thing for a girl to do.

Not going to lie, I was surprised when I saw the blood. I felt a little bad for judging her, but I am not the one to be blad. But, I feel guilty for taking her first ti. I didn't force her, but still… I have that old ntality that one should give their first ti to the girl they love… and that goes both ways, for a boy and a girl.

Rudy's flying speed decreased as he pondered about his goal.
'I know I have my goals, but what do I do after I have achieved them? I want… more. I want sothing that no one can have. I want to be the best. I want to be the greatest. I… want to be God!'
Rudy suddenly stopped flying and raised his brows with a confused look on his face, as though he couldn't believe he had that thought.
"What the fuck am I spouting? What's wrong with ? Are these powers getting on my head or what?" Rudy asked himself.
Without wasting any ti, Rudy flew with the speed of sound. But he wanted to fly faster, so he pushed his current limits and eventually broke the sound barrier.
ZWAMP~!
With a loud sound echoing in the sky, Rudy had achieved the supersonic.
He reached the landlord's house within three minutes and hovered in the sky, seemingly devising his plan.
However, he got bored of it, so he chose a rather entertaining approach. He crashed into the house and landed in what it seed like an enormous living room.
"....!"
Much to his surprise, he sensed electric signals all around the house. At first, he thought it was simply the wiring of the huge mansion, but after using his supervision, he discovered that the house was laden with advanced weapons.
"Hmm~" With an amusing look on his face, Rudy muttered, "Even though I made such a cool entrance, the alarm didn't go off. Sothing is off… quite literally."
'Man, there is no one to laugh at that pun.'
