Vida sat by the chair next to the bathtub where she was closest to Rudy's head.
"Since Kaguya didn't explain the process to you, we will have to do it this way. First, forget everything. Stop thinking and focus on my voice only. You don't have to speak if you think it will distract you, but let's set a signal for yes and no. What is the easiest thing you can do while in this state?"
Vida waited for a few seconds for a reply, but after eting with nothing but silence, Kaguya said, "Didn't you just ask him to not speak if it's distracting?"
Vida shot a glare at Kaguya, but nodded soon after and uttered, "Okay, how about this. You don't have to do anything if the answer is yes. If the answer is a no, then move your finger in the bathtub, or do sothing that would cause ripples in the water."
Vida got up from the chair and signaled Kaguya to co closer with her eyes.
Kaguya was a bit hesitant since Rudy was naked in the bathtub and she didn't want to see him naked. Of course, as a nurse, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary to see patients naked. Still, it wasn't a daily occurrence, and that happened in the presence of doctors.
After a mont, she got up and sat on the chair Vida was previously sitting on, while Vida had begun the session.
Visa was sitting on the floor mattress, and her hands were on Rudy's head. The tips of her fingers glowed in a blue hue as she rubbed them on the sides of Rudy's head.
"Okay, Rudy. Think about sothing that calms you down."
In the influence of magical anesthesia, Rudy had no control over his thoughts. His ability to think had weakened to the point that he wouldn't have been able to even utter a full sentence.
Since Vida had asked Rudy to think of sothing, he thought of sex. Perhaps it was what he wanted deep down, or it might just be the work of his super libido.
Kaguya was already aware of how the session worked. Whenever Vida needed assistance, she simply gestured with her eyes and Kaguya would understand.

Within a few minutes, the blue hue from Vida's fingertips had spread all over Rudy's head.
"There is too much disturbance in your brain. I will have to dive deeper. Please stay calm." With that said, Vida glanced at Kaguya and pointed her eyes at the candle beside her that was burning blue fla.
Kaguya nodded in reassurance and placed the candle in her hand.
Vida closed her eyes after saying, "Think of a mont that resonates the most with you."
Rudy had many monts in his life and it was impossible for him to pick one. Eventually, he chose the mont which he missed the most.
Angelica.
Out of all the monts he could have thought of, he recalled the ti where Angelica had sucked him off the first ti in the school's washroom.
Since Vida was now deeply connected with Rudy, she could see what Rudy was thinking of, and she was speechless.
'I have been doing this for the last five years of my career and I have never had a patient who thought about such a thing. Well, no need to worry about it. Whatever helps him calm down.'
Vida continued to explore Rudy's mories and couldn't find an end to it.
'What's happening? Why is there so much space in his mories? I need to find the end point and connect it with the start point to begin the process.'
Vida grabbed the blue thread tied to her spirit and explored deeper. The blue thread was Vida's spiritual power, and the longer it was stretched, the weaker the action will beco.
However, even after spending an hour inside Rudy's mory space, Vida hadn't reached the end. She had co so far that she couldn't even feel her body.
'If I go any further, my connection with my body might break and I will be lost here forever. I feel like I have entered a void. This is not sothing that I can handle.'
Vida glanced around and the only thing she could see was the mont Rudy was thinking about, which was now so far away that she could barely make anything out of it.
'The mont is supposed to be enveloping everything, which is why it's necessary to think about sothing. It helps the spiritualist guild through the mory space. To think that I have co so deep, yet I can't see anything. Just who is this person? No one can have such… a void.'
Vida thought it would be disappointing to return after coming this far. It would still take the sa amount of ti for her to reach the start point again.
'Maybe I will just look around here for a little more while. Kaguya is watching over the candle, and she can pull back in an instant if she senses danger.'
Vida gripped the blue thread tightly and went deeper into Rudy's mory space.
anwhile, Kaguya was contemplating on what she should do next.
'The color of the fla has almost vanished. It's turning orange. Her connection with her body will be cut once the blue fla disappears. Should I pull her back? It's been more than an hour!'
Kaguya didn't want to make a choice. She could possibly ruin Vida's progress by doing so.
'If I ss this up, I should bid farewell to my friendship with Vida. But… her life is more important to than our friendship. I will wait for five more minutes.'
The ti passed, and five minutes were about to end. Kaguya couldn't see any chances in the fla, but she could sense the blue fla slowly vanishing.
'This should be enough.'
Kaguya moved her hand towards the fla to extinguish it. But suddenly, the fla turned black.
