"What… what the hell are you two doing?!" Eric was standing in front of them with a baffled look on his face.

"Eric!" Eleanor exclaid in shock and turned around.

Eric glared at Rudy in anger, but there was sothing more behind his eyes. Sothing he couldn't express fully.

"Eric, let's go sowhere else. We are catching attention." Rudy moved his hand in the air and all of Eleanor's belongings ca to Rudy.

Eric was shocked to see that, but before he could say anything, Rudy grabbed Eleanor and Eric and teleported to Eleanor's house.

"What…?" Eric gleaned around with a confused look on his face. "What's... going on?"

He turned to Rudy and asked, "You have awakened? When did you get your powers and…. No." He shook his head and his expression changed from curious to furious. "What was that at the airport?! I thought you were my friend, Rudy. My best friend! How could you do this?!"

"There is a lot to explain. Erika deserves to learn it too. Where is she, by the way?"

"How would I know?" Eric shrugged his shoulders. "I just returned from the hero summit and saw you two at the airport. I was confused, and I was about to co greet you until suddenly… I saw… argh! My eyes! I can't unsee it!"

"Eric… it's not what you…" Eleanor wanted to make an excuse, but it was too late. Nothing could work now. Eric had seen them with his own eyes.

After saying that, Rudy disappeared.

He teleported to where Erika was, and she was in the middle of a dungeon raid. She was so bored that she decided to go on a dungeon raid with her guild mbers.

When Rudy appeared, he blended into the crowd of the guild mbers.

It was a boss fight and the boss was a seven-headed serpent.

Erika and the other veteran guild mbers prepared to fight, so taking stances, so powering up their spells, and so imbuing mana into their weapons.

However, suddenly, the seven-headed serpent's heads were cut off. And it fell to the ground with a loud thud.

[Dungeon cleared!] the announcent rang out.

"Huh?"

"What?"

"Just like that?"

"What just happened?"

"Our guild leader is just too strong!"

"I can't believe she just one-shotted the boss like that."

"That has to be a new record of boss fights. It ended in less than a second."

"Wait, guys…" Erika turned to the guild mbers. "It wasn't ."

"Huh?"

"Then who was it?"

Rudy just wanted to surprise Erika, but the scene had changed into sothing else. Now, he couldn't step forward and reveal himself. It didn't do it from fa and praises, he simply wanted to free Erika from her work, so he could take her back.

Thus, without saying a word, he rushed to Erika at full speed, touched her, and then teleported with her to Eleanor's house.

"Hmm? What's going on?" Erika glanced around with a confused look on her face, but she wasn't as confused as Eric was since she was aware of Rudy's powers.

Eric rushed to Erika and asked, "Erika! Were you aware of this?!"

"Well… yes."

"What?! And you are okay with that?!"

"Huh? What's the problem?"

"Are you seriously asking that?! You don't see how this is bad on so many levels?! This is a form of betrayal of friendship."

"Huh? Why would it be? Isn't it actually a good thing? We should celebrate it."

Erika and Eric were talking about different topics, and Rudy was aware of that. The situation was so hilarious that even butting in would cause more misunderstandings.

"Guys. Let's sit and talk properly."

Erika told Erika what he saw at the airport, and she was speechless.

"You have got to be kidding !" Erika turned to Rudy and shouted, "Is this the reason why you have been pushing away?!"

"Calm down."

"How can I calm down! I admit mom looks hot but that's way out of line, you know?! Keeping aside, did you not think of Eric?! He is your best friend! Imagine how he must be feeling right now! I seriously want to punch you and beat the shit out of you, but I will wait for you two to explain first."

Eleanor was the most troubled in the room.

"You two, it's not what you think. Rudy and I were just—"

Rudy knew what she was going to say. In the previous tiline, Elena had asked Rudy to keep it a secret, but he always felt that he should have told them. Even if it would have destroyed their relationship, they deserved to know.

Rudy stopped Eleanor by placing his hand on her shoulder. And when she turned to look at him, he reassured her with a smile.

"Where is the wallet?" He asked calmly.

Eleanor was hesitant, but she got up and left the room.

"What wallet are you talking about?" Erika asked.

"Just wait."

Eric wasn't saying anything. Nothing at all. And that was concerning.

Eleanor returned with a wallet cradled in her hands.

It was just how he had left it 19 years ago.

"Wait!" Rudy kept his distance and said. "Keep it away from . Or the spell will activate."

Eleanor stopped and said, "But the spell can only be triggered when you touch the wallet. That's what you told ."

"Well, not really." Rudy shrugged with a nervous chuckle. "The spell will trigger if Eric and Erika touch it too. I didn't tell you because I was afraid that you would want to keep it a secret from them, and with the fear of them finding out, you would dispose of the wallet. You are a genius, but you beco an idiot when you feel helpless."

"What the hell are you two talking about? You two are talking as if your affair has been going on for a few years now!"

"Relax. Don't waste your energy." Rudy pointed at the wallet and said, "Both of you touch it at the sa ti if you want to learn the truth."

Eleanor placed the wallet on the bed and Eric and Erika picked it up.

The next second, they fell unconscious.

SIGH!

Rudy let out a weary sigh and muttered, "Kids these days are so hard to talk to."

"Will they be okay?" She asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Don't worry about them. Unlike , who lived through that ti, they are simply watching it. It's like a VR movie for them."

"When will they wake up?"

"Five to ten minutes for us, but for them… it will be more than a year."
