Now reading: Chapter 38 - 35 — Rise of the First Division from Establishing Pokedex on Earth, a Adventure novel by Blaze98.

Once the final farmland was planted and the tools were packed, I exhaled deeply.

"Alright. That's enough for this morning."

I withdrew both of my Rhyhorn into their new Heavy Balls—clunk, clunk—then turned to the rest of the herd.

"Stay here near the edge. Rest. Don't wander out."

They rumbled softly in agreent and settled into a resting formation among the trees.

Ti for the real reason I ca here this early.

The team eting.

I walked back toward the command area where an empty operations tent had been assigned to us.

Everyone was already gathered:

PI Kadam

Captain Sethi

era

Kavya

Rohan

Arjun

Imran

Bhavesh

Tanisha

And Ritu.

They straightened the mont I entered.

The tent was quiet—expectant.

This was the foundation of the Pokémon Departnt.

Its first leadership council.

I stood in front of them and inhaled.

"Alright. Listen up."

They leaned forward unconsciously.

"We just survived the most dangerous encounter since Pokémon arrived. And still—every one of you completed your jobs flawlessly."

I paused, letting that sink in.

"But the real work starts now. When all of you return after one month of training your respective teams & Fulfilling your previous obligations… these will be your official roles."

I pointed at PI Kadam first.

"PI Kadam."

"You'll head the Pokémon Cri & Enforcent Division.Illegal catching, abuse, smuggling, zone violations—everything. You'll shape the rules and set the standard."

He gave a sharp, proud nod.

"Captain Sethi."

"You'll command the Pokémon Strike Force."

"These teams will enter dangerous zones, eliminate threats, rescue civilians, and neutralize hostile Pokémon. You'll train them using your experience from the expedition."

Sethi smiled slightly, fists clenched in resolve.

"era."

She blinked.

"You handled Venusaur better than anyone expected."

"You'll lead the Diplomacy & Treaty Division.Your job: establish agreents with zone leaders and regional overlords. Also convince smaller-zone Pokémon to migrate into major zones so we can reclaim land or convert areas into breeding bases."

era looked shocked… then determined.

"Rohan."

"You'll build the first Scout & Reconnaissance Division."

"Stealth, drone usage, early warnings, wildlife tracking—your team will be the eyes of the departnt."

Rohan saluted instinctively.

"Kavya."

Her hand tightened around Chikorita.

"You're in charge of Pokémon Research, Ecology, and Breeding Bases once they're ready."

"Cataloging species. Understanding evolution paths. Habitat designs. Egg care. You'll form long-term strategies for sustainable populations."

She swallowed, then stood straighter.

"Arjun."

"You will create the Terrain Analysis & Engineering Division."

"Your team will design infrastructure that won't harm Pokémon habitats—safe paths, ranger stations, water flow systems, farmland layout, zone barriers. Today's farmland was your prototype."

Arjun puffed out his chest.

"Imran."

He already seed to expect this.

"You will head the Healing & dical Departnt."

"Since healing Pokémon are still rare, your team will begin with doctors, pharmacists, and field dics. I'll give you potion recipes—antidotes, sprays, burn healers—that work far better than anything modern science has."

Imran looked like I'd handed him a treasure chest.

"Bhavesh."

He stepped forward nervously.

"You'll be head of the Forest Zones Managent Division."

"You understand Aarey better than anyone except . Once this zone stabilizes, you'll expand to other forest zones in Maharashtra."

He nodded with quiet pride.

"Tanisha."

"You will form the Disaster Relief & Rescue Division."

"Floods, landslides, forest fires, Pokémon stampedes. Your team will work closely with Arjun's engineers to create response maps."

Tanisha's Growlithe barked once in support.

I looked at all of them—my first unit, my first real team.

"This is just the beginning."

Their eyes were fixed on .

"This month, train your departnts.Build your plans.Prepare your teams."

I straightened.

"Because ready or not—India will soon depend on you."

My voice rose, steady and unwavering.

"Let's go, team."

"It's your turn to rise."

The tent echoed with a unified response.

"YES, SIR!"

Everyone was enthusiastic, just then

"Sir, what about ? you didn't give a role." Ritu's confused voice ca.

"Of course you'll be in charge of our cybersecurity departnt. but that departnt will have to wait for now I want you to follow Sethi and era's team alternatively. and obtain battle and diplomacy footage. this would be helpful to teach students when pokemon courses start." I said awkwardly. I had I actually forgotten to assign her role.

The eting wrapped up with the team still buzzing—nervous, excited, overwheld, but ready.

As everyone began settling into their assigned corner of the tent, preparing notes and discussing responsibilities, I quietly checked my bag.

I still had seven Pokéballs left from last night's crafting.

Not enough.

Each ranger, each officer here…All of them had a Rhyhorn partner waiting outside.

And they deserved proper Pokéballs.

I stepped toward a shadowed part of the tent, turning my back subtly.

No one noticed.

I placed my palm on the invisible interface.

[ Craft Poké Ball ×3? ]→ Yes

A faint vibration—A soft click—And three fresh Pokéballs materialized in my hand.

Perfectly round. Perfectly polished.Still warm from the crafting matrix.

I slipped them into my bag and stepped back toward the group.

They were still discussing their future departnts when I cleared my throat.

"Alright, one last thing before everyone heads out."

Heads turned.

I reached into my bag and pulled out the full set of Pokéballs—ten in total.

"Each of you—take one."

Confusion flickered across their faces.

"For your Rhyhorns," I explained. "No more relying on makeshift ropes or walking them manually through human zones. You're departnt mbers now. Your partners should have proper equipnt."

PI Kadam gingerly took one first.

"…These look different."

"They're custom-made," I said simply.

One by one, they accepted the Pokéballs:

• PI Kadam• Captain Sethi• era• Rohan• Kavya• Arjun• Imran• Bhavesh• Tanisha• Mama

So held them like delicate artifacts. So like precious gifts. So like weapons.

All of them understood the significance:

These were the first departnt-issued Pokéballs in India.

"This is just the beginning," I said quietly. "Soon, every police station and military base will have their own Pokémon units. And you all? You're the first generation."

A silent wave of pride spread through the tent.

Tanisha whispered, "Sir… thank you."

I shook my head.

"No. Thank the Rhyhorns who trust you enough to fight by your side."

I gestured toward the exit.

"Go. Partner with them properly."

They filed out one by one, clutching their Pokéballs like sacred relics.
