Chapter 2854: Some Ideas
On the way back, Alex asked the Tiger a question that had begun surfacing after hearing about how it came to be born.
“Senior, you mentioned that you are the result of a beast core, right?” Alex asked.
“I am,” the Tiger said. “Why?”
“Well, I’ve been trying my hand at something. I have a skill that allows me to do something similar to what you do, where I use my Blood aura and a lot of blood as a vessel to form a body for the spirit within a beast core.”
“I’ve been attempting to improve that for some time, allowing the formed blood beast to improve as any regular cultivator could, but it feels impossible. Do you have any knowledge that you gathered during your own formation that you could give to me?”
The Tiger thought for a bit.
“They are sort of like the Yang Imprints, are they not?” the Tiger asked.
“Yang Imprints?”
“Yes, the Sun Wraiths, as you call them.”
“Ah! Right,” Alex said. “It is very similar to that. I suppose the only difference there is that while my blood aura weakens a lot when forming these beasts, the Sun Wraiths retain almost all of the energy they form with.”
Although, Alex had an idea there as to what was happening. The beast spirits within the beast cores were fighting back against the blood aura, weakening it a lot by the time they formed as blood beasts.
“That is certainly not an easy task,” he said. “I myself cannot grow as I am, so there isn’t any information I can give myself. However, there are a few suggestions I could give for you to test to see if it could work.”
“I will accept any idea that you may give me, senior,” Alex said.
“From what you’re saying, the issue lies in the fact that your beasts formed out of blood are not truly alive. So, to start with, you will need to make them alive, or give them an approximation of life.”
Alex’s eyes narrowed. “An approximation of life?” he asked. “How would I go about doing that?”
“I can think of a few ways, but the chances that any of them will work are very low,” the Tiger said. “So you need to understand that just because I tell you this, it is likely not going to work.”
“I will take your words with apprehension, senior. I will doubt them at every step.”
The Tiger nodded. “What is the strongest beast core you’ve ever used to form one of these blood beasts?” it asked.
“The strongest? I don’t believe I’ve made anything stronger than a Saint beast yet,” Alex said.
After ing to the Immortal realms, the chances of finding beast cores had been non-existent, so all that he had made had been made back in his home world.
The blood beasts were also far too weak to be used for anything, including even the battle array, since they would so easily be defeated.
“There were two variants of Yang Imprints during my time. One that was mindless and the other that lived just as the old beast did. In a way, a beast had two lives even.”
“Really?” Alex asked. “What was the difference?”
“Their cultivation base. Beasts in the Immortal realm tend to have a much stronger spirit imprinted into their beast cores. So when it died, and its beast core wasn’t wounded, it came back to life as a Yang Imprint.”
“Of course, that couldn’t cultivate beyond what it already had, but it is a good start to bringing an approximation to life,” the Tiger said.
Alex nodded at the Tiger’s every word, his mind racing at the speed of a thousand ideas every second.
“I could certainly test that,” Alex said. “What else?”
“In the same vein, you could also try out the beast cores right at the moment of being a Yang Imprint,” the Tiger said. “When it’s in the process of being one.”
“When the beast core is infected with the Sunheart?” Alex asked.
“Yes,” the Tiger said. “Since you use a beast core to form these beasts, you could try and see what es of this idea.”
Alex certainly hadn’t considered that yet. “That is a good idea. Anything else?”
“Well, the third suggestion might not hold much water, but since you’re attempting to give life to these blood beasts, try and see if Life aura will help you in any way. I don’t believe it will, but you can always test it and see.”
“Life aura?” Alex asked. “I… think I can do that. I have it present in my Soul Space, but I’m not very good at manipulating it.”
“I’m sure you can figure something out,” the Tiger said. “Those are the main suggestions I had for you. But, there is always the last option, which may or may not work.”
“And what option is that?” Alex asked, waiting for the beast to speak.
“Use your Intent,” the Tiger said. “Train your Intent and then use it. It might help.”
“Use… my Intent?” Alex asked. “How do you mean? Use my Intent to give the beast life?”
“Is that your intention?” the Tiger asked. “Or is your Intention to help the blood beasts grow along with you?”
“Preferably both,” Alex said. “Their strength increase is my primary criteria, but I won’t plain if they somehow manage to grow some sentience either.”
“Then use your Intent,” the Tiger said. “Literally use your Intent to force them to grow in strength or grow in intelligence. It is incredibly difficult to do, but with Intent, nothing is impossible.”
Alex remained quiet in thought for a long time while they returned. After a while, he slowly nodded.
“I understand what you mean, senior,” Alex said. “I’ll try everything. Hopefully, at least one of them will help me with what I want.”
“I wish you good luck,” the Tiger said, and they continued on.
After a while, they arrived back at the spot with the giant fruit on the ground, next to which Bladedance and the old man waited for him.
