Alex wasn't the only one to see the bright red arrow sticking out of the ground. The Poison God had noticed it too now, his eyes narrowing as he turned to the sa direction that Grimsight had turned to.

"So you too are intruding in my place now?" the Poison God asked.

Alex turned to the sa direction to see who the God was addressing.

Far in the distance, on top of the wall surrounding the Poison God's courtyard, was a man. The man half-sat on the wall, with one foot perched atop it and another dangling down.

Looking closer, Alex realized it was not a man at all. The short hair and masculine robes she wore had him tricked into thinking it was a man when, in fact, it was a woman.

The woman wore interesting attire. While her robes seed simple enough, they were torn at the sleeves, revealing her slender yet slightly muscular arms for all to see.

Grimsight clicked his tongue at that exact mont, involuntarily indicating that sothing was up.

Alex feared. Was there more trouble? Was this woman trying to kill them for so reason? She must've been the source of the arrow.

"Intruding, you say?" the woman asked. "Hmm, I suppose I am. What are you going to do about that?"

There was a grin on the woman's face, one that claid she did not care for anything other than what she felt like caring for.

Alex couldn't help but worry. 'What situation have I been put into?'

The Poison God looked at the woman and Grimsight and frowned. "Are you two together in this?" he asked. "You damn woman! Are you trying to—"

The Poison God's hands moved instantly and caught sothing out of the air.

Another red arrow.

The twang of a string and the short whistle of the arrow's flight only followed afterward.

"That is a warning," the woman said. "Call anything but my na, and the next arrow will go through your skull, Dustvenom."

The Poison God gripped the arrow tightly before throwing it to the ground. He felt humiliated at the mont, having to deal with the woman in front of all these strangers. His anger flared even further.

Alex had been looking toward the woman the entire ti, and yet he did not notice what she did at all. There was a blur, a smudge of blue in her action sowhere, but it was gone as quickly as it had appeared.

Alex didn't even see where the arrow had co from.

"Be careful," Grimsight whispered to him and Silvermist. "Do not offend her. She is also a God."

Alex's eyes went wide in shock. Another god?

The Poison God cald himself as much as he could and asked, "What do you want from , Killshot? Are you the one who had this assassin sent here?"

"Assassin?" The woman looked at Grimsight and suddenly burst out laughing. "Do you really think I have any reason to kill you?"

The Poison God frowned. "So you were not the one who sent him here?"

"Oh no," the woman said and jumped off the wall, now walking in closer. "You know I don't work with others. I get my own hands dirty."

The Poison God thought for a mont and unfortunately found reason in the woman's words. Killshot was a lone warrior, a god without a cult. She did what she wished, and she did it well.

Killshot arrived closer now. "Besides, a word of warning. If he really was an assassin, you wouldn't be alive right now," she said, turning to Grimsight. "Isn't that right, master?"

The single word was enough to raise dozens of eyebrows all around.

"Master?" Silvermist involuntarily blurted out. Of all the people present, he was the most privy to Grimsight's past, and yet, he was the most surprised of all.

Grimsight frowned right at that mont. "You should not make such jokes, Your Greatness. I have never had any disciples," he said.

Killshot stared at Grimsight for what felt like a long second. Alex noticed her bright pink eyes, her iris ringed like a bird of prey. Her gaze remained on Grimsight for a while longer before she suddenly grinned.

"Old as you are, you haven't changed much, have you?" she asked.

"I have changed a lot, Your Greatness," Grimsight said. He felt the incoming silence again and turned toward Alex and the rest. "Greet Her Greatness. She is the Archery God."

Alex, Momo, and Silvermist imdiately bowed in greeting. "We are honored to be in your presence, Your Greatness," Silvermist said quickly.

Killshot looked at Silvermist and then back toward Grimsight. "Is he the one you're hanging around with?" she asked. "It is not like you to work for an alchemist. You like working alone, don't you? That's what you taught ."

"Once again, I am a changed man. I do things differently now," Grimsight answered.

Killshot crossed her arms, frowning. "There is no way the great Spearheaven could have changed this much. You were a force of nature. How are you okay with waiting around for alchemists now?" she asked.

The Poison God felt his heart sink right at that mont. "S-Spearheaven?" he asked, turning to Grimsight. "You… you are Spearheaven?"

Grimsight was troubled by his na being revealed like this. "I… was Spearheaven. I am Grimsight now," he said.

"So, you have a new na. That doesn't change who you are," Killshot said.

Grimsight didn't answer. He let go of his golden spear at that mont, letting it vanish. He turned to the woman and asked, "Is there anything you wish of , Your Greatness? Otherwise, please let us leave this place. We have no more business with His Deadliness."

Killshot shrugged. "Dustvenom, do you need anything more from them?" she asked.

The Poison God was unable to process all of this information so quickly. The fact that he was before THE Spearheaven had shaken him to his core. If this was the sa man he had heard about from others, then he should have lost a hand today.

He no longer cared about Momo or Alex or anyone else. He only looked toward Grimsight as every other matter paled before this man. "I have one question," he said.

"Ask, so he can leave," Killshot said.

"Why did you give up the opportunity?" the Poison God asked. "The title, I an. You were ready to beco a God, but you gave up at the last mont, didn't you? Why? Why did you refuse?"

Alex turned to Grimsight, stunned. This was new to him. From the looks of it, it was even new to Silvermist.

"I…" Grimsight struggled to get his answer out. His head turned all around. Noticing the many gazes that were upon him. Many of which were certainly more Gods. "I was a man who only knew war. A title like that of a God was worthless to . So I chose to not take it."

The Poison God frowned. "That's it? You didn't take up the opportunity because you thought you didn't need it?" he asked.

"That is correct, Your Deadliness," Grimsight answered.

Killshot stepped forward at that mont, standing before the Poison God. "I believe that answers your question," she said. "If you don't have any other questions, then I am taking them away. Or, do you wish to fight on this?"

Her grin only called for more trouble.
