"You must've woken up before all your mories returned," Alex quickly said. "You should—"

"No, all of my mories are back. And yet I still don't rember anything about him," Godslayer said.

Alex frowned. "What do you an? Did you perhaps not see him back then?"

"I did see him. And I know I fought him too," Godslayer said. "But where there should be a man in my mory, there is but a featureless shadow. Every other person I rember down to the way their hair was parted, but this one man… I rember nothing about him."

Alex didn't understand how that could be. The only thing he could think was that there was sothing wrong with Godslayer, which was why he couldn't rember. He had woken up abruptly, after all.

"Maybe it will return with ti."

Godslayer shrugged. "Maybe."

"So, will you be sleeping again?" he asked.

"No, I'm awake now. But I do want so ti for myself to think through a few things," Godslayer said.

"Do that," Alex said. "I need to prepare for the tournant too. Once it's over, we can sit down and talk again."

"We should do that," Godslayer replied. He looked around, surveying Alex's Spiritual sea. "So much has changed here, hasn't it? The mountain is no longer here."

Alex nodded. "I consud it all."

"Did your Soul Space grow when you did?" Godslayer asked.

"You know, I have no idea," Alex said. "It's so massive to begin with that I have no way of testing its actual size. Maybe when I have Divine sense, I will finally be able to tell all of that."

Godslayer nodded for a bit. "The only one I can think of that can help you is the Sky God. She can consu Space Stones and enlarge her Soul Space far more than other people can. I wondered if you could do the sa, which is why I asked."

Alex thought for a mont. "If my daughter can, then maybe I can too."

Godslayer chuckled. "By the way, what is that thing behind your Origin? Why does it look like you?"

"It's my Blood Origin," Alex explained. "It's a technique from the Blood God's manual."

"Is it strong?"

Alex simply shrugged. "I haven't had the chance to use it yet. Maybe it is, maybe it's not. We'll have to wait and see."

Godslayer moved closer to it and looked at it with so awe on his face. "Fascinating. I wonder if this belongs to the Blood God."

"The Blood God? Soone specific?" Alex asked.

"There was one many hundreds of thousands of years ago who ruled the Immortal world and nad it Bloodhaven. He died a long ti ago, but his descendants should still be alive today. There may be other Blood Gods, but he alone is known as the Blood God."

"Interesting," Alex said.

Godslayer sighed. "Although, I must say I am quite disappointed to see you waste such precious ti doing nothing. Had I been awake, I might have told you what a grave mistake you were making."

A pang of terror ran through Alex. "A mistake? What mistake? What did I do wrong?" He couldn't imagine what he could've done wrong. He had been very careful during his cultivation, after all. "Is there an issue with my Blood Origin?"

"No, not your Blood Origin. I don't know anything about that to criticize you there. But your actual Origin… you should've done better than this," he said.

Alex frowned. "What exactly did I do wrong?" he asked.

"How much further are you from breakthrough?" Godslayer asked. "A dozen years?"

"A few dozen at least, but yes, I'm close," Alex said.

"That's still nothing for a cultivator," Godslayer said, clicking his tongue. "Such few years remaining before you reach the Immortal Transcendent realm, and all this ti you didn't bother putting any aura into your Origin at all. Had you done that, you could have sped through your upcoming realms."

Alex paused for a mont, taking in Godslayer's words. Then he burst into laughter.

Godslayer was surprised by Alex's sudden laughter. He couldn't imagine why the man would laugh for no reason. "Have you gone mad or what?" he asked.

"No," Alex said, continuing to laugh. "I just was so worried because you said I made a mistake."

"You did make a mistake. What's so funny about that?"

Alex laughed for a bit longer before calming himself. "I'm not close to the Immortal Transcendent realm. I barely entered the Immortal Origin 2nd realm a few years ago."

Godslayer was taken aback. "But you said you were just a few dozen— no, wait." He turned around and looked back at the Origin that was there. "No, that's not possible. How could your Origin be so big if you're only in the Immortal Origin 2nd realm?"

Alex flew closer to Godslayer. "That's because you aren't looking at one Origin," he said, reaching out to the Origin with his mind. "You're looking at 8."

Alex gave the command.

Divide.

The Origin suddenly pulled itself apart, turning into two. The sea below him rippled as discomfort flared within him. The discomfort turned into slight pain as the two Origins divided even further, turning into four.

Finally, a head-splitting ache ca upon him, causing the sea beneath him to go mad as the four Origins split into eight.

The eight Origins were smaller than the one whole, but each one of them matched in size to what should be for an Immortal Origin 2nd realm cultivator.

Godslayer remained in eternal shock, seeing the eight different Origins.

"The technique I found in the Twin Saber sect's ancestral grounds—I used it with another one I got from Bai Jingshen to make a new technique. Each of these eight Origins can be separately fed different auras to be turned into eight different things."

"Eight Creations," Godslayer said, shocked. He looked at the Blood Origin too. "Does that make it nine?"

Alex shrugged. "Sure."

"You said Bai Jingshen gave you this?" Godslayer asked. "He is Godkiller's disciple, isn't he? Is this technique from Godkiller then?"

Alex paused for a bit. He had thought of it in passing but never truly considered it. "Maybe?" he said, but it didn't make sense. "Unless the Saber God that you killed got it from the Godkiller too. Their nas were similar."

"Hmm, so we won't know," Godslayer said. He looked at the eight floating Origins, which snapped back into place. Alex said sothing about his mind being in pain, but Godslayer failed to take it in.

Looking at all these Origins, he only had one thought.

"Do you know what your Creations are going to be?" he asked.

"Not all," Alex answered. "I know five or six. Still no idea what the last two should be."

Godslayer's eyes perked up. "Would you mind lending one?"

Alex looked at him, confused. "Lend you one? What do need it for?"

Godslayer shook his head. "I don't know just yet. I don't know if I can even do anything with it. But there is an issue within that I am trying to fix—sothing I desperately need to fix."

"And I'm hoping that one of your Origins is going to be the key to solving that issue."
