As the heavens themselves began to stir, people of the dicine World began witnessing what was about to happen.
The phenonon was so strong that even mortals could tell sothing was happening in the sky. With their limited lifespan, a mortal had no way of knowing what was going on. They never sensed anything before, so they chalked it up to being sothing to do with cultivators.
The ones with weaker cultivation bases, especially in the Self-Tempering and True realm, mistakenly believed the phenonon to be sobody breaking through to immortality close by.
The ones with a cultivation base higher than that had a different view on things. This phenonon, from their understanding, was most certainly created by soone learning a strong Dao.
Whether it be Saint realm cultivators, Immortals, or even many Divinities, they did not realize it was sothing very much different.
Very few could see it for what it was.
Rosemist looked away from the images she was seeing of the tournant and turned southwest in the direction of where the event was happening.
Little Lin, the Qilin descendant, and the Sword Snake turned around along with her, feeling the ripples that emanated from that direction.
"What is that?" the Sword Snake asked in surprise. "The Worldly Laws should not reach this far out, should they?"
"I… I have a vague mory of sothing like this happening when I was very young," Little Lin said. "But I can't rember if I'm correct or not. What is going on?"
The both of them turned to look at the spirit-woman who stood next to them, with her eyes set toward Alex's direction.
A soft smile ford on her face at that mont. "It seems this is all the proof I needed," she said. "He wasn't lying at all."
"Lying about what?" Little Lin asked.
"This phenonon he created is proof that he is, in fact, not a Child of Heaven," Rosemist said. "No Child of Heaven would be able to do this."
Little Lin got even more interested now.
"What exactly is going on?"
* * * * * * Far to the east of the location where the tournant was held, a man sat on a ship high in the air. He was a middle-aged man with short black hair who simply watched the sky that was pulsating with energy at that mont, seemingly about to fall.
Even from this distance, he could see Alex clearly, sitting in the stadium, making all of this happen.
"So this is what it was," the man said softly. "All those years ago, and I finally got to see it happen right before my eyes."
The mont Shumi had left this world, he had realized it. And that had returned the burden on him that had left him for a while.
However, he couldn't leave just yet. There was one more thing left for him to do. He had seen what was coming, and he knew they would need him. He had as much a hand in the upcoming event as anyone else.
"I'm sorry, young man," the man said softly. "I must do what needs to be done. It is my duty, and it is my burden."
* * * * * * * Starsight had seen what was coming. She had seen the chaos that would happen because of sothing that went on in the sky. However, never could she have guessed that this would be it.
She had sought this very thing for so many thousands of years, and never had she achieved it. And here it was, a young man who hadn't even been alive long enough to be a millennia old, doing that which she had failed for so long.
That sohow made her both frustrated and curious. What had he done exactly? What was this all about?
She couldn't wait to et him after the tournant was over.

Momo, Pearl, and Whisker mistook what was happening to be sothing related to Dao.
Momo smiled, thinking her master was doing sothing similar to what she had done. To her, this wasn't an extraordinary event. It was just sothing to be proud of.
Silvermist, however, understood things differently. He looked at the sky and appeared worried. He could tell at a glance that this wasn't Dao. But other than that, he could tell nothing else.
He had never seen sothing like this that looked like the worldly laws but wasn't. He beca quite curious about it and turned to ask Grimsight.
Before he could ask, however, Grimsight moved. He appeared on the stage, right outside the barrier, and turned around. A Golden Spear appeared in his arm as he stood in the air, holding it and standing close to Alex.
"Brother Grim? What are you doing?" Silvermist asked as he flew up toward Grimsight as well.
Just as Silvermist got close, he felt a million different senses land on him. Everyone was observing this very situation. Of them, about 20 were strong enough to toss him to the ground with simple thought. Thankfully, none of them seed to have that intention.
Grimsight's eyes locked onto the large tower where the gods were, the chamber that was the origin of these stronger senses.
Many of the Alchemy God's subordinates flew to the sky, their weapons ready to attack, but none did so as the Alchemy God himself flew out of the chambers and arrived before Grimsight.
"What are you doing, Senior Grimsight?" the Alchemy God asked.
"Stopping anyone else from interfering, Your Majesty," Grimsight said in a cold tone. "You can imagine how many here would be envious of what is happening right now."
The Alchemy God stared at Grimsight for a mont and nodded. "I don't think the majority of them know what is happening, Brother Grimsight," he said. "But if this is anything other than protection, then I warn you, Brother Grimsight. I will kill you for interfering with sothing so important."
Grimsight nodded. "I wouldn't dare to."
The Alchemy God accepted his words and turned around toward his n.
"Protect Alchemist Dawnblade. No one may disturb his trance right now."
