"The decision has been made," the Storm God said. "I shall be the one to do it then."

He took the talisman from the Sword God's hands and walked over to Alex, who stared at the Storm God with visible fury.

The Storm God stood before him, looking down on him. "Resent if you wish, but I will do what I must to protect our world."

"Do you trust prophecies so much, Storm God?" Alex asked.

"Normally, I would be skeptical," the Storm God said. "But this one has so weight behind it. I cannot be certain that the divination was true or not, but I can tell you no one else can perform a divination better than what has been perford today.

"If the future is set, then how will anything you do affect it at all?" Alex asked. "Isn't what you are doing at this very mont useless to begin with?"

"Useless? Perhaps," the Storm God said. "But we still must act. If I know the world is in danger, then I cannot sit by and do nothing. Even if what I do is useless, I can at least live with a clear mind that I did sothing."

Alex glared at him.

The Storm God placed his hand atop Alex's body and did sothing to him. Alex couldn't imdiately tell what had been done, but whatever it was made him feel as if all of his senses had been muffled.

Even the pain in his body felt muffled.

The Storm God continued to speak, but his words sounded drowned out.

"I am not such a monster that I won't let you say your farewell," the man said. "You may speak to your master and disciple before you leave."

Silvermist found himself pulled away from Grimsight's side, and so did Momo. They arrived before Alex in an instant, placed there by the Storm God.

"Dawnblade!"

"Master?"

Momo had been unconscious until this very mont. She had fainted when she first witnessed her master dying, so when she was woken up and brought here, she was quite surprised to see Alex completely awake and alive.

"You… you are alive! How?… I saw you die!"

"Your master is tough to kill," Alex said with a gentle smile, trying to muster up his courage to say the farewell.

Alex didn't know what he could tell these people at this mont. No words could bridge the gap that was about to co between them for so many years going into the future.

"Master… Momo," Alex slowly said. "I'm sorry, but it appears I will be leaving you for a while."

"No," Silvermist quickly said. "There has to be sothing else. Your Majesty, my disciple cannot be sent to that realm. He will die there. Please find kindness in your heart to excuse him of such a fate."

"Your disciple is strong enough to likely survive there like all others have, so I won't be changing this verdict," the Storm God said. "Besides, it is not just my decision. Every one of us made that decision. It is not sothing that we will take back so easily."

"But your majesty–"

"Master, it's alright. I won't die," Alex said. "I promise you, I won't die. It has been done before by the Hell Emperor, so I will just do it again. I will escape from Hell, no matter what. Trust in your disciple."

Silvermist tried to argue against Alex's words, to tell him how dangerous it was, but he couldn't say it. It was not sothing he should even say at that mont.

"Momo, learn what I've taught you and do your best. You have the capacity to surpass . By the ti I return, I want you to have surpassed . Can you do that?"

Momo nodded furiously. "I will do it, Master. I will beco strong. You must co back to see rise."

Alex smiled. "I wouldn't miss it for the world." He gave her a hug.

Momo cried while Alex patted her back. He wanted to cry too, but the anger he felt at that mont was much bigger than his pain. He was barely hiding it at all.

He turned to his master next. "If anyone cos claiming to be my family, please take care of them. I ca all this way searching for them, and now I won't be able to."

"Don't worry. I will take good care of them," Silvermist said. "You need not worry about anything else."

Alex nodded. He stood up next and turned toward the gathered gods and representatives. "If you think Hell will stop in the slightest, then you are sadly mistaken. It is but another obstacle for to overco. And I will overco it like I have every other in my life. I'll show you. I'll show you all."

"The two of you, step back," the Storm God ordered and moved close to Alex, holding the talisman in his hand. He pressed it on Alex's chest next but didn't imdiately activate it.

"Once I use this, you will go to Hell. At that point, everything you own, everything you know will be gone. If you have knowledge to share with others, this is the ti," he said.

Alex looked at the Storm God, stared at him for a mont, and smiled. "Do you wish to learn the Undying Physique, Storm God?" he asked.

The Storm God's eyes widened ever so slightly. "Can you pass along the inheritance?" he asked.

"In just three simple words," Alex said.

The Storm God got even more excited now. "How? Tell ."

Alex got closer, wanting to whisper it to him. The Storm God leaned in closer to hear. Alex told him those three words loud enough for everyone else to hear.

"GO SCREW YOURSELF!"

The Storm God stiffened at that mont, anger bubbling in him. "Is that so?" he asked, the pressure around him imdiately buckling Alex's knees. The bones in his body began creaking from the pressure, but Alex stood tall, glaring at him even as his entire body was wrapped in pain.

"You deserve no farewell," the Storm God said and activated the formation.

Silver energy exploded from the talisman, imdiately covering Alex at that mont. Alex did not do anything to stop it at all. All he did was get back up once the Storm God's pressure was released and turn to look at all others.

He looked to Aethersage and the others who watched with a stunned expression. He looked at the gods next, all of whom seed satisfied with the decision. Sword God especially seed incredibly happy about it. He was the one who Godslayer wanted dead, the one who was the first to try and kill him among them all. Alex absolutely hated them.

Their eyes t, and while Alex could say sothing, he didn't. He simply smiled toward the man with a mocking intent. That was all the man needed to know that he was not safe.

However he could, Alex would co back from Hell. When he did, he would be strong enough so that none of these people would ever be a threat to him.

He would be what they feared him to be. The Destroyer.

A vortex appeared in the sky at the sa ti, a maelstrom of silver, amplifying the teleportation energy from the talisman. The maelstrom descended, grabbing onto Alex.

In the next mont, the teleportation was complete.

Alex was gone.

Gone to Hell.
