Chapter 2754: The Hundred Fla Sect

So hints of yellow fog arose both in his Spiritual Sea and Soul Space when Alex next checked it, which he easily removed with but a thought. He checked on the others as well before retracting his Spiritual Sense from within himself.

Whisker stood before him, waiting for Alex to speak up. He knew it was ti to leave. He waited to find out where to go.

Alex didn’t have a destination himself. He just knew that staying here would be a waste of ti.

“I definitely need to stay in the desert for so ti. I need to train my Sword Intent and gather so Sunhearts too,” Alex said. “But I also need to stay in the cities and see what I can find.”

He didn’t know what should get his greater attention.

“Do you need to fight the beasts?” Whisker asked.

“Of course,” Alex said. “That’s how I train. Unless I can get humans to fight .”

The idea wasn’t a bad one. But could there be people that he could find?

“Most of the strong humans stay in sects as far as I know,” Alex said. As he said that, an idea ca to him. “You’ve prepared so more Elixir, right?”

Whisker nodded. “Of course. Do you need it, brother?”

“Yes,” Alex said. “I can’t think of anything more alluring than that.”

Alex left the hut finally, intending to never return to this place ever again. It lay on the outskirts of a city he wasn’t going to return to either.

It was late in the morning, with the sun just hours away from reaching the zenith. Hot breeze blew through the desert, but all of it was blocked by the nurous garb Alex wore to hide his skin.

Those clothes could still be damaged, so Alex wore his blood armor on the outside, fully covering every bit of his body except for his eyes and bits of his face.

It didn’t take long for Alex to arrive at his destination at the other edge of the town. A vast sect lay here that went by the na of Hundred Fla Sect.

He prepared sothing with Whisker before heading over to the Hundred Fla Sect. It was a small thing that took not that long a ti.

“Keep this,” he said in the end as he handed Whisker most, if not all, of his storage bags. “And stay here. I’ll be back in a bit.”

Whisker nodded and stayed very far away from Alex, letting him go on ahead toward the sect that he had arrived at now.

There weren’t many people around the sect. Just a few that walked in and out through the front gates. They looked toward him with curious eyes for a bit before making their way away.

Alex’s unusual appearance caught the attention of the elders of the sect that were guarding the gates as well, causing them to step up and stop him before he got too close.

“Who are you?” one of the guards asked apprehensively.

“Just a wanderer,” Alex answered. “May I ask who the strongest person of your sect is?”

Alex’s question caught them off guard.

“What?”

“The strongest person— you know what? Never mind.”

Alex swung his fist at the guard, punching him in the chest hard enough that he sent him flying into the walls of his sect. Before the other guard could react, he kicked him as well, sending him into the other side of the wall.

The commotion alerted the others inside the sect and soon a slew of people ran outside. They stopped by the gates though, helping their friend, while everyone else looked toward Alex.

His entirely red outfit made them a little scared.

Alex looked through the people, realizing most of them were either disciples or weaker elders. These wouldn’t do. He needed stronger people that could fight back in order to train.

A larger crowd ford and a few people stepped forward.

“Are you guys strong?” Alex asked the erging group.

Each one wore a dark gray robe with a tight white sash around their waist.

“Who are you that dares attack our people?” one of them asked.

Alex brought out his sword from a single storage bag he held at his waist. He pointed it toward the man. “Co, let test you.”

The man seed angered, rightfully so, and so were the individuals behind him. Without waiting for anything else, they pulled out spears, swords, and hamrs from their storage bags and charged toward Alex.

Alex waited patiently for them to arrive and fought them. At first, he was gentle and dodged around, fighting back only to judge how strong these n were. But it quickly beca apparent that they weren’t worth his ti at all.

He was here to improve his Sword Intent, and weak as they were compared to all other aspects of his strength, it was still around the early Immortal Transcendent realm.

These n weren’t at that level yet. Even together, they couldn’t push him enough.

Realizing the situation, Alex quickly dealt with them. He kicked and punched each one until they were all thrown back into the crowd.

“Where are your strongest fighters?” Alex asked.

The crowd parted just then and three much older individuals walked out. One was a woman in her late 50s, and the other two n a little older in age.

One of the n walked before the two, his hair still dark despite his wrinkled skin showing his age.

“Who are you? And why have you decided to attack our sect?” the man at the front asked.

The man was clearly important. “Are you the sect leader?” he asked.

“I am.”

Alex nodded and brought out sothing from his storage bag. A transparent jar full of glistening liquid appeared in his hand.

“Do you know what this is?” Alex asked.

Everyone had an idea of what it was imdiately.

The sect leader stepped forward. “Is that… Elixir?” he asked.

Alex nodded.

“I am here to challenge your strongest. Should they beat , I am willing to hand over this Elixir. Do you accept it?”

The sect leader frowned.

“I should add, I have no intention of hurting you or your disciple so much that they are disabled or dead. However, I won’t ask for the sa level of restraint from you?”

The words alone were enough to rouse the whole group of cultivators into looking forward to the sect master’s decision. It wasn’t every day that soone brought a jar full of Elixir to their front door.

“You won’t go back on your words?” the sect leader asked.

“If you’ve bested to the point where you deserve the Elixir, I do not think it will matter if I keep my word or not. You can just simply steal it away.”

His words made the sect leader and the others nod a little. It made sense.

Alex placed the Elixir back into the storage bag and tucked the storage bag inside his blood armor. Then he looked back toward the sect leader.

The sect leader didn’t step up. Instead, the other older man behind him did.

“I shall be your opponent,” the older man said as he brought out a large war hamr from his storage bag.

Alex lifted his sword before him, ready to fight.
