Alex stared at the glowing beast that appeared before him, standing tall and brave.
It was a bull, seemingly a combination of both blood aura and Yang aura. The energy itself seed separate in its body, the red and yellow appearing like patterns, one after another in blotches or stripes.
The beast was also massive, its body pushing against the roof of the room itself. The other blood beasts hadn’t been this large at all.
And best of all, this beast seed quite powerful as well. Alex felt at its aura and quickly realized that the beast was at least in the Immortal Transcendent realm, most likely in the latter realms.
For a re True beast core to beco this strong, Alex was surprised. He could not have imagined the Yang and blood aura to rge this way. The strength of the beast itself wasn’t that exciting just yet.
Individually, the Sun Wraiths would probably be much stronger than this. But this had an advantage that the Sun Wraiths did not have.
They were not weak to Spiritual attacks.
Spiritual attacks were the bane of Sun Wraiths, killing them easily. But the Blood beasts took Spiritual attacks as they did any other attacks, losing blood aura instead.
And perhaps the best part of it all was because he had refined this beast of Sun and Blood, it obeyed his command.
Alex raised his arm toward it. "Return."
The beast shrunk, turning back into marble the size of a hen’s egg. Normally, a blood beast’s core would be fully red, but this glowed with both red and yellow light.
Alex left the room for so ti, going out to test this new type of blood beast he had stumbled upon. He needed to see what it could do.
He tested the beast in various situations, finally coming back a few days later.
By this ti, the surprise and excitent had waned, leaving behind just a single emotion.
Disappointnt.
This beast could not improve as he had hoped. Not that he had expected it to, but because of how different it was, he had co to hope it did.
At least, the Guardian Tiger had been sowhat correct in suggesting infected beast cores. It resulted in sothing better than what he already had, resulting in the shrinking of the gap between the core and the final beast that ford out of it.
Still, he needed to do more. So, Alex went for his next suggestion.
The formation inside his Soul Space was set up and had begun taking in the life aura for quite so ti now, so Alex put so beast cores in there. While they absorbed life aura, Alex cultivated.
He had several other things to do as well, besides just the blood beasts, such as consuming Sunhearts, training his mind, improving his cultivation base, eating more fruits, and trying to gain what he could from those fruits.
After many weeks, Alex opened his eyes again, ready to start it all over.
For the sake of the experint, Alex changed absolutely nothing about his approaches at all.
The beast cores that had absorbed so much of the life aura were, for lack of a better word, alive. They felt energetic and full of vitality. Alex was excited for the result.
He used a few of the beast cores to make normal Blood beasts with them to see how they turned out. The beasts ca out slightly stronger, but not by much. What was better was perhaps their intelligence. They seed sowhat capable of self-thought.
For a True beast, this was quite surprising, since most beasts beca capable of such thoughts after reaching the Saint realm. It wasn’t all that better all things considered, and it was still a failure in Alex’s eyes.
The next beast core was one he infected before forming a blood beast with it. The beast that ca out was better than the Bull even, its colors still like blood and sun, but much more powerful now.
The Blood beast was certainly in the Immortal Spirit realm now in terms of strength, hovering between the 3rd and 5th realm. The life aura had helped the beast cores trendously.
Alex examined the beast for quite so ti before concluding again that they could not continue to improve as he had hoped. He was once again disappointed by the result, but he had expected as much.
For the next experint, Alex reversed the approach a little. Instead of feeding life aura into a beast core and then infecting it, he first infected it and then fed life aura into it.
The difference was imdiate. The vigor with which the beast core swallowed the Yang aura translated well with it absorbing the life aura as well. All the Yang aura that was gathered by the formation was devoured by the beast core, becoming stronger as a result.
And then, Alex made a blood beast out of this infected beast core.
The beast that ca out was the strongest Alex had prepared just yet. The beast was massive and ended up destroying part of the wall outside. Its strength was easily at the peak of the Immortal realm as well, strongest of all the blood beasts until now.
Alex could tell the beast was almost as strong as him, and it also had a bit of intelligence to it. However, it wasn’t enough. And after so ti, it beca clear that it could not grow any further.
This ti, however, Alex wasn’t disappointed. Even if it could not grow, he had realized that he could reduce the gap between the beast core and his blood aura’s strength by a lot.
Worst-case scenario, he would just have to make more blood beasts each ti he made a significantly big leap in his blood aura.
And still, he could see so more ideas for improving everything.
He hadn’t used any of the eight Immortal beast cores yet, so he needed to try it out and see what ca of that. Perhaps, using the Immortal core was the trick to getting what he wanted.
