Alex arrived before the Threepine Forest and found the people who had been waiting for him there. The people stared at him with curious looks, as they could feel the aura around him, making them feel as though he was more important than he actually was.
Talking to those people and asking them to leave beca surprisingly easy after that, as not a single one of them even stopped to ask what he was planning on doing next.
Once the people were gone, Alex looked around the place, seeing what had been prepared. There were over a hundred different buildings, each of varying shapes and sizes. Many of those were houses, but plenty of them were for other uses as well.
There were schools, training arenas, cattle farming areas, and anything a group of new settlers might want from the place.
Alex had prepared so things of his own to give to these people, most of which were just clothes and tools to help them get started.
He brought out everything he had for them, but he didn't bring out the people just yet.
He waited for a few hours just in case anyone decided to return for so reason. He went around the place, using his Demon Eyes to see if he could locate anyone who might have been staring at him from far away or to find any devices they might have hidden to observe what he would do.
Whisker was a great help in that as well, and the two of them quickly determined that the place was more or less safe.
After he noticed nothing, Alex set up a formation around the area, hiding it from the outside world. At the sa ti, he brought out the Playground imdiately, placing it at the center of the small town.
"Send them out."
With Alex's command to the Playground, the people began to walk out with awkward looks on their faces. Having seen sunlight for the first ti in what must have felt like ages to them, the people began rejoicing all around.
A few people were wary, but they could hardly do anything at all with almost nobody around. Once they realized it was just Alex there, they relaxed.
The older man, the chief of the tribe, whom Alex had only seen through his senses up until this point, finally stepped forward.
"Are... are you the senior who has helped us?" the old man asked. The people behind him grew quiet as they all looked toward Alex for
his words.
"I am," Alex said after a brief pause. "May I ask what you rember?" The old man held his head with a pained expression. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't tell you. My mories are a haze at the mont. All of ours. We rember going about our normal days back at our hos, and then we are suddenly inside that thing over there."
Alex nodded. "Does anyone else rember anything more?" he asked. Everyone gave a similar answer.
"Do you rember who you are?" Alex asked.
"Of course. We are people of the Cailan tribe of the Lorenai Desert," the old chief said.
"Do you rember the continent and the world you were a part of?" Alex asked.
"We were from the east of the Nineskull Continent," the old man said. "But I do not understand what you an by the world we were a part of. Did our world have a na?"
Alex nodded. "It does, but it might be better if you didn't know the na at all," he said.
The chief looked surprised.
Alex gave the explanation before the old man could question him further.
"To make a long story short, your tribe was attacked by soone. Most of you were left nearly dead as a result. A few of you even died. I found you all by chance, and I rescued you, and have now brought you all to a new world," he said. "This is the Sacred Lotus Continent, one of the 18 Human Immortal Realms. From today onward, the Drunken Spirit Continent will be ho to your Cailan tribe."
The group gave a look of collective fear and surprise that Alex could understand. Going from their old life to this was a big enough change, after all.
"I have prepared all the basic necessities you will require. Chief, here are a few spirit stones to help get you started. As for the rest, you will need to handle it yourselves."
Alex handed over a storage bag full of spirit stones.
The old man took the bag and looked inside, his eyes imdiately widening in shock. "Why... why would you do this for us?" he asked. "We are nobody to you, aren't we?"
"Do I have to be sobody to help you?" Alex asked.
"But... cultivators hardly help others. They get further in life by pulling others down. So then, why would you help us?"
Alex shook his head. "I'm not the kind of cultivator you are used to dealing with. I'm following the creed of soone who ca before -to help everyone I can without expecting anything in return."
The old man stared in awe.
"Although..." Alex added. "I could even say that I have already been paid in advance, and I am just returning the favor at this point."
"What do you an?" the old man asked.
"You will understand once you have so ti to think things
through. For now, you should start settling into your place. I will have
to return once I'm done helping here."
The old man nodded, thanking him, and so did the people who had been watching him with undivided attention.
"If you don't mind us asking, who are you exactly, senior?" the chief
finally asked.
Alex only belatedly realized that he hadn't introduced himself.
"I am-" he stopped himself as it ca to him that this might be a
chance he couldn't get anywhere else.
After a brief thought, he created the strongest Sun fire to appear in his palm.
"I am the God of Fire and Yang," he claid. "You can call the Sun
God."
