Upon returning to the Wine God's palace, Alex didn't even stop to speak regarding the event. He needed to recuperate as quickly as possible, so he left for his room to start cultivating.
There was nothing urgent anymore, so everyone let him be.
Bladedance had been disturbed in the middle of her cultivation session too, so she had long since entered cultivation once again.
The two gods still had a few things to discuss, so they t once again. "How long before the others are rested too?" the Wine God asked. The 14 that had returned on the Cerulean Sparrow were also incredibly tired, so they had been given leave to cultivate as well.
"I've told them to rest for a month. We can gather again later to discuss everything else we wish to discuss," the Beast God said.
"That's acceptable. But we must think of what we should do with the pseudo-Voidgates."
The Wine God spoke of the cracks that ford above Raingear City that led to the Void. Despite much ti passing, the cracks hadn't closed off, still remaining there.
Those who had experience with Voidgates had tried to go inside, but they had realized that unlike a regular Voidgate, there was no 'safety region' present in the imdiate vicinity of the Voidgates.
The mont one even attempted to go inside, they would be torn apart by the streams of space and ti inside the Void, their bodies pulled away.
It had been ordered that no one was allowed to visit any of the cracks.
"Raingear City is not the only place where the pseudo-Voidgates have ford," the Beast God said. "There is one on the Jade Lotus
Continent, from what I was told. There is one south of the Holy Beast
Continent. And two have been discovered in the water too. The Squid Prince actually ssaged because he was so worried."
The Wine God chuckled slightly. Those beasts that remained in the ocean treated their waters as though it were a different realm entirely.
Most had co here from the Eternal Isles and carried a similarly haughty attitude as those that were born there. They almost never interacted with the surface world, and yet the situation was strange enough that they had.
"Did you tell him the truth?" the Wine God asked.
"I told him all he needed to know."
"We'll need to find where else these cracks have ford. If they don't close in a day or two on their own, we might have to find so artifacts to solve it."
The Beast God narrowed her eyes for a mont, looking down. "He could do it," she said.
The Wine God paused, almost imdiately realizing what she ant. "You wish to ask the young man for another favor, right after he saved the world?"
The Beast God let out an exasperated sigh. "I know. He's done too much already, but still. Who else can help us?"
"Well..." the Wine God thought for a while. "If nothing changes, I'll ask him tomorrow."
That was acceptable for the Beast God. "Anything on the Sky God's soldier? Who was it that tried to kill him? And what happened to the woman that was apparently with him?"
"We're still searching for whatever we can find on both of them. My son is busy on all fronts. We've learned a bit about the young woman, naly that she had apparently sold the highest-earning auction item in that city. Other than that, though, they are both anomalies."
The Beast God stood. "Keep searching, I suppose. I'll see if he ca from the Divine Thunderforge Realm, but chances are he ca from the Sky God's realm, so he is your responsibility."
The Wine God chuckled. "I already am."
The Beast God nodded and turned to leave. "I shall return for now. We'll et again in a month. Hopefully, we'll have sothing else to talk about then."
Then, she left.

The emptiness was quite strange.
It had barely been over a year since he had gained the unique energy, so why was its absence leaving him so... drained?
Alex hadn't expected his body's reaction to the lack of the unique energy to be so strangely powerful. It was as though all cultivators fundantally lacked this energy, but since they had never known this, they could never understand the need for it.
'It's like I'm addicted to a drug, and I'm starting to go into withdrawal without it, Alex thought.
It was truly bizarre.
Thankfully, it wouldn't last for too long. The tiny stream of energy filling him would soon give him the fix he needed.
Maybe it was a good thing he called himself the Sun God before the Cailan tribe. Without them, this wouldn't have been so fast.
A few monts later, Alex ignored the situation in his dantian and pushed his senses into his Soul Space. The Yellow Fog appeared again, surrounding the dead Divinity.
As he resud consuming the body with the fog, Qi slowly filled his body, which his body refined on its own as he was already cultivating.
Alex finally had the proper freedom to test how much he could
improve this way compared to just regular cultivation. He would need. multiple sessions though, which would be fine since the Divinity's body would take so ti to be fully devoured by the Yellow Fog.
In the anti, Alex searched for the Divinity's Soul Space. As his corpse was more or less intact, his Soul Space was intact as well.
The only thing that could be said to have been lost was the helt, which had lted and fused with the man's skull at this point. Its only use now would be as scrap tal.
He had also lost the armor, but those pieces had long since shattered. There was no way of getting those now.
As for the rest, Alex hadn't lost out on anything. The Divinity's Soul
Space was slightly tougher than normal, but Alex still tore into it.
A few seconds later, everything that was inside the man's Soul Space was now laid bare for Alex to see.
