Hannah was left staring as a young man walked into the room and Fairspring stood up to greet him.
"Your Majesty! It's been a while. How have you been?"
"Senior Fairspring. Please, feel free to call your junior," the Weapons God said.
"I'm afraid I cannot show such disrespect. Please allow to continue referring to you as Your Majesty."
Goldsteel shrugged. "If that is what you want."
Hannah watched the man with a look of awe, unable to believe that such a young man could have possibly beco a god. If she were told that the young man had only just begun his cultivation journey, she would have no reason to doubt it.
And yet, the aura of his cultivation base in the late Divine Manifestation realm was sothing she could not deny. Young or not, this was the Weapons God.
Goldsteel's eyes turned toward Hannah a mont later, his gaze quickly judging her. "May I ask who this is? I'm not sure I am acquainted with her."
"This is Dragonheart. She is… an associate of the Sky God's palace. I do not believe you have ever t her before today," Fairspring quickly said while introducing Hannah.
The man raised his eyebrows briefly, mostly surprised at her title more than anything. But he didn't say anything regarding it. He simply nodded in greeting.
Hannah quickly ca out of her stupor and returned the bow with her utmost respect. "It is an honor to et Your Majesty!"
The Weapons God gave a brief smile before looking toward Fairspring. "I hope I didn't disturb you. I had to et you before you left. On that note, how long will you be staying in this world?"
"Not long at all," Fairspring answered. "In fact, I was leaving right now. The teleportation formation is paused only briefly so we can return right away. If nothing happens that will keep us here for long, we should be returning imdiately."
"Oh! Then I should keep this eting as brief as possible," the Weapons God said. "I shall get to the point then. May I ask if it is true that Dawnblade has indeed returned?"
Fairspring blinked slightly in surprise. "That… that is the truth," she said. "I'm surprised it has reached you already, given that he arrived at the Sky God's palace just days before we left 5 years ago."
"Oh, so it is true?" the man asked. "I heard he stayed with the Beast God and Wine God over in the Sacred Lotus Dominion for so ti too. The ssenger told he was still there but would be leaving soon. So he has safely arrived at the Sky God's Palace?"
"That he has," Fairspring answered. "May I ask who this ssenger is?"
"I will refrain from divulging the na of one who has helped so much," the Weapons God said with an apologetic smile. "I will say that the person who delivered the ssage was sent to directly, so you don't have to worry about anyone else discovering the truth from that person. In fact, both I and the person who sent the ssenger have a vested interest in the survival of young Dawnblade."
"Is that so?" Fairspring asked with a slightly narrowed look. She was beginning to realize that there was so collusion here between the Weapons God and soone else. From the way he spoke, the person who gave him the ssage had to have either co directly from the Sky God's Palace along with the ssage, which was impossible.
If not, then the ssenger had to have co from the Sacred Lotus Dominion instead. If that was the case, then the only people who were aware of Alex leaving for the Sky God's Palace would be the Beast God or the Wine God.
She understood the Wine God as soone who didn't like to involve himself in other people's matters, so it was likely the Beast God herself.
"Did the Beast God send her own beast along with the ssage?" Fairspring asked. "I don't think she would entrust such an important ssage to soone else."
Goldsteel's eyes widened slightly at Fairspring's words. "I guess that is what it ans to have deep experience. You read through so easily, senior."
"You flatter too much, Your Majesty. I rely took a stab in the dark. May I ask you to further explain why you wish to talk about him?"
"Of course. The thing is that I believe the young man to be the Savior ntioned in the prophecies, and thus would like to ensure that he continues to survive. I wanted to talk to you today so that you could pass along this very ssage to the Sky God so that she treats him well and does not let Starsight's prophecies cloud her judgnt."
"I believe the Sky God is already aware of this, but I shall still let her know when I return," the Wind Sage said.
Hannah looked at the two with a confused expression. She wanted to ask Fairspring about what they were talking about, but she also did not wish to intrude upon their conversation.
"Is Lady Dragonheart lost on who we are talking about?" the Weapons God asked upon seeing her expression.
"I understand who you are talking about. What I don't understand is what you an when you say he is the Savior. Is that a title of sorts? He didn't ntion gaining any new titles."
The Weapons God raised an eyebrow. "Did you get to et him?" he asked.
"Yes," Hannah answered simply.
"Do not be surprised, Your Majesty, but Dragonheart here is a cousin to Dawnblade. She is one of his family mbers," Fairspring explained.
"A cousin?" Goldsteel's eyes widened wider than they ever had before. "Does that an you two co from the Myriad Spirit Realm as well?"
"No. Neither does my cousin. The Myriad Spirit Realm is where my cousin arrived after ascending to the Immortal realm. We both co from a lower realm instead."
