"Go straight to the Talent Value test? Are you sure? You know, you still have two more chances to maybe get a better score!" the instructor said to Ye Feifei. It was quite impressive for a female student to have such a high Combat Value.
"I'm sure! I don't want to waste ti. I believe my talent is definitely enough to pass!" Ye Feifei said with a smile. She was taking a gamble—a gamble on the Divine Phoenix Race's choice. 'If I really can't get into the elite class, then I'll just have to accept my fate.'
The instructor was perplexed by Ye Feifei's decision but didn't press the matter. It was the first ti he had ever seen such a confident woman—and a stunningly beautiful one, at that.
Ye Feifei walked up to the screen and examined it carefully. She then swiftly circulated the Phoenix Spiritual Power within her body before slowly placing her hand on its surface.
The crowd below watched with rapt attention, completely ignoring the other students coming up from different classes for their tests. Everyone wanted to see just what kind of talent this beauty possessed!
Phoenix Spiritual Power flowed from her body in a continuous stream. After about the ti it took for ten breaths, the screen reacted. A blue light flared, one so dazzling it outshone everyone else's.
The mont she saw the blue light appear, Ye Feifei quickly removed her hand from the screen. She knew she had qualified, and that her Talent Value must be incredibly high.
"What am I seeing? That's a blue light! Heavens, how can this woman have such a terrifying Talent Value!" soone in the crowd couldn't help but exclaim.
Xiao Wenjie and Guan Tianshui were also visibly stunned. The instructor was just as shocked, staring at Ye Feifei in utter disbelief. The girl's performance was simply too staggering.
Soon, the Talent Value materialized: 4,327. A terrifyingly high number. When the instructor announced it, everyone was left dumbfounded. It was the highest Talent Value recorded so far, and it had co from a female student.
Upon hearing the number, Ye Feifei simply gave a faint smile and said to the instructor, "So? Didn't I tell you my talent was decent? It's only natural that my Combat Value would be lacking. Am I free to leave now?"
"Yes, yes! You've qualified, you absolutely can!" the instructor said excitedly.
"Wait. What's your na?" In a flash, Xiao Wenjie appeared before Ye Feifei, unable to stop himself from asking.
"Ye Feifei. Does the Dean have any other questions?" Ye Feifei asked, looking at him in confusion. 'Don't tell this old geezer wants to cause trouble for ? All I want is to go talk to Brother Tian.'
"You are the most talented student in our Linyuan Academy. I've decided to train you personally. You wouldn't object, would you?" Xiao Wenjie said.
Anyone would have jumped at such a trendous opportunity, but Ye Feifei simply smiled. "Feifei appreciates the Dean's kind offer, but I'd still prefer to pursue my Cultivation in the elite class. I have a reason why I must stay there."
A flicker of surprise crossed Xiao Wenjie's face. He couldn't understand why this girl would refuse his request. It was a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity. With his personal tutelage, her power would soar.
She could advance directly to the Interdiate Class for her Cultivation in less than half a year. It was even possible she could beco a top student within that Interdiate Class.
However, to each their own; he couldn't force her. "Think it over. My offer stands should you change your mind."
"Thank you, Dean. Feifei will consider it. May I leave now?" Ye Feifei asked.
"Yes, you may go," Xiao Wenjie said with a smile. 'I'm genuinely intrigued by this Ye Feifei. Perhaps she'll beco another legend at Linyuan Academy.'
Without another word, Ye Feifei left the stage and walked toward the spot where Ye Tian was standing. "Brother Tian, wasn't I amazing? I didn't disappoint you, did I?"
Ye Tian shot her a look. "Amazing is one thing, but can you be a little more subtle? Walking over to so brazenly... Are you afraid people *won't* know you're my woman?"
"Hehe! I *want* them to know. This way, I won't get harassed, and other won won't co bothering you. It's killing two birds with one stone!" Ye Feifei said with a grin.
Upon hearing this, Ye Tian's face darkened. 'This girl... to think she'd actually co up with a plan like that. I'm speechless.'
"All right, the tests are almost over. We're both in the elite class now, so you should be happy. But I don't get why you turned down the Dean's offer. That was a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity!" Ye Tian asked.
"The reason is simple," Ye Feifei said with a smile. "You're in the elite class, so naturally, I want to be with you!"
Ye Tian understood what she ant. She was truly, deeply in love with him. In that mont, his affection for her deepened.
Their voices weren't loud, but quite a few people overheard them. Most were puzzled by their relationship, though many now assud they were a couple.
Qin Xiaowan, however, felt a complex mix of emotions. A sour feeling, like jealousy, washed over her, and it was deeply unsettling. 'I'm supposed to hate Ye Tian, so why do I feel so upset? I don't understand it, and I don't want to.'
Xiao Wenjie and Guan Tianshui had naturally overheard the exchange as well. They now understood why Ye Feifei had refused his personal tutelage—it was because of this young man.
The tests continued, but they were nearing the end. After about another hour, they finally concluded. A total of ninety-seven people successfully qualified for the elite class, which was still a bit short of the intended number.
This ant they would have to select from the pool of those who didn't qualify directly, picking the individuals with the highest combined Combat and Talent Values to fill the remaining spots in the elite class.
"Alright, this round of testing is now complete! I know so of you are elated and others are disappointed. For those who didn't make it into the elite class, you'll have another chance during the class competition in six months. So, you must all apply yourselves to your Cultivation."
"This test has brought many surprises, but the most stunning of all was the performance from student Ye Feifei. She actually possesses Blue Star-level talent, sothing rarely seen even in the Imperial City."
"Also, for those students who achieved high Combat and Talent Values but did not directly qualify, you still have a chance to enter the elite class. You will need to wait for the official notice; the results will be posted in three days."
"Everyone, return to your classes. This concludes the testing and class assignnts. I hope all of you achieve great breakthroughs and that your strength improves by leaps and bounds!" Xiao Wenjie announced to the crowd.
