Everyone cheered when the announcent was over. A group activity every ten days was a great perk. The male students were especially excited, seeing it as an excellent opportunity to get closer to the female students.
The students then got up and started heading toward the dormitories. Ye Feifei, however, went straight over to Ye Tian. "Brother Tian, what did the two deans want with you just now?"
"I'll tell you later. It's not a good ti right now," Ye Tian whispered. "You'll have to work hard now that you're here. Also, let's not act too close. It'll cause a lot of trouble."
"I understand. I'm just happy you're here with ," Ye Feifei said with a smile. "I'll get going, then!"
Just then, Qin Xiaowan also walked up to Ye Tian. "Do your best, Ye Tian!" she said, before leaving with Ye Feifei.
"Ye Tian, you really are sothing else, kid! I can't believe you know both of those beauties," Qian Xiaohao said as he and Zhou Xiang walked over. "Co on, let's talk back at the dorm. Brother Chu isn't here yet, but I'm sure he'll make it through. After all, his Combat and Talent Values are both ranked very high."
"Let's go," Ye Tian said with a laugh. "You two aren't the strongest, but your talent is pretty decent. If Brother Chu makes it, the four of us will be together again. The Superior Class will be ours for the taking."
The three of them quickly left the academic building and headed for the cultivation dormitories. This ti, room assignnts weren't based on numbers; it was first-co, first-served, so whoever got there first could pick the best rooms.
Seeing that many students had already claid their rooms, Ye Tian and his friends prepared to choose one for themselves. Each room was separated by a distance of five ters, presumably to avoid disturbances.
"Ye Tian, look! That one over there looks nice. Should we go check it out?" Zhou Xiang pointed to a room not far ahead. It had a large flowerbed outside filled with blooming flowers. If they opened the window, they would be able to sll the floral fragrance.
While the other rooms also had flowerbeds, they were a bit farther away. The one Ye Tian and his friends had their eyes on was definitely one of the best.
"Let's take that one," Ye Tian said. "Hurry up, before soone else snags it!"
Zhou Xiang bolted toward it, because at that very mont, a few other students who seed to have their eyes on the sa room were also rushing over.
Zhou Xiang got there first. Just as he was about to open the door, one of the other youths called out, "Hey, kid. My big brother has his eye on this room. Go find another one."
Zhou Xiang froze. 'I can't believe it. I just got into the Superior Class and soone's already starting trouble. They've got so nerve. But I got here first, so this room is mine. Why the hell should I give it to them?'
"Sorry, but I have my eye on this room too. And I got here first," Zhou Xiang said. "You're the ones who should go find another place."
"Kid, looks like you'd rather do this the hard way," the student threatened imdiately. "You think you're hot stuff just for getting into the Superior Class? Believe when I say I can make sure you don't live to see tomorrow."
"Are you threatening ? You dare threaten here?" Zhou Xiang retorted. "You must have a death wish! This is the Superior Class! What's to stop from reporting you to the instructors right now?"
Ye Tian and Qian Xiaohao walked over. Seeing Zhou Xiang arguing with a few unfamiliar students, Ye Tian asked in a cold tone, "What's going on here?"
'Ye Tian despised people who used what little power they had to bully others. He quickly assessed their strength and was surprised to find it wasn't low at all. Three of them were at the One Vein Eighth Layer Realm, and one was even at the One Vein Ninth Layer. No wonder they were acting so arrogantly.'
"I saw this room first, but they're telling us to leave and pick another one," Zhou Xiang said angrily. "Why should I give it to them?"
"I'll say it one last ti: get lost, or you'll face the consequences!" one of the youths snarled, looking like he was itching for a fight.
"You scram," Ye Tian retorted angrily, "before I lose my temper. Or I'll be the one making sure you don't see the sun tomorrow."
"Hahaha! You've got a big mouth, kid," the youth said with a laugh. "Weren't those my words just a mont ago? So, I take it you're not giving up the room?"
The youth at the One Vein Ninth Layer remained silent, staring intently at Ye Tian. Ye Tian t his gaze. His eyes were so sharp that the other youth couldn't help but look away.
"Ye Tian, let's just drop it," Qian Xiaohao whispered to him. "It's better to avoid trouble. There are plenty of other rooms, we can just find another one."
"I've decided. I'm taking this room," Ye Tian said with a grin. "If anyone has a problem with that, they're free to challenge anyti. I'm actually curious to see just how arrogant the students in our Superior Class really are."
Just then, the youth at the One Vein Ninth Layer finally spoke. "Kid, I'll rember you. You win this round. But if you've got the guts, et at the Decisive Battlefield another day. Let's see if you're still this arrogant then."
"The Decisive Battlefield?" Ye Tian shot back, his face a mask of contempt. "You think you're worthy of getting on the Decisive Battlefield? Sorry, I'm not interested."
"You! How arrogant!" the youth roared. "Let tell you sothing. Even if I killed you right now, I wouldn't be punished by the academy. Since you don't know what's good for you, don't bla for being ruthless."
"Brother Lang, there's no need for you to get your hands dirty with this kid. We can take care of them!" said the youth who had spoken first, proving to be quite the sycophant.
"Ye Tian, let's just go!" Qian Xiaohao pleaded once again.
"Go? Go where?" Ye Tian said. "They're bullying us right to our faces and you want to leave? You want a fight, is that it? Fine, I'll indulge you. But I suggest you all co at at once, just to save the effort."
His words made the faces of all four bullies turn ugly. "You're too arrogant, kid! If I don't teach you a lesson today, you'll never learn your place!" the youth roared at Ye Tian, his patience finally snapping.
"Teach a lesson? You're not worthy," Ye Tian replied, his expression still full of contempt. "Co back when you're a little stronger."
The youth lunged at Ye Tian, striking with his palm. The Palm Power behind the blow was so imnse that the very air seed to vibrate. He was clearly furious.
Ye Tian, however, was unfazed. He threw a quick punch of his own, using the Thunderbolt Fist. His fist t the opponent's palm with a sharp CRACK.
The youth was knocked back several steps before he could regain his footing. A trickle of blood seeped from the corner of his mouth, and he was unable to lift his arm. Ye Tian's strike had clearly shattered his bone.
Ye Tian, on the other hand, only took a single step back, his expression unchanged. He glanced at the injured youth and sneered, "Pathetic. You dare challenge with such garbage strength? Go back to your Cultivation for a while."
"You dare hurt my brother? Kid, no one can save you today!" roared the youth at the One Vein Ninth Layer.
Just as Ye Tian was about to challenge him, a voice cut through the air. "Who's so bold as to cause trouble here? Am I invisible to you all?" As the voice faded, Xiao Yaoyao appeared before them…
